I even hear him sometimes completely in Breaking News, probably because it doesn't have much of that vibrato!

Mostly it's the vibrato that sticks out to me and I haven't really ever heard Jason do a vibrato quite as foreign as the one in the Cascio tracks, although very similar.

thank you so much for identifying the specific lines you think are michael. i've asked someone to do this a bunch of times and no one has. I understand the "i can't even breathe, i can't even sleep" it's a good attempt. sounds pretty close to me, but the rest of that line doesn't.

I have to respectfully disagree with "all you need is love" sounding like michael. it's off for me.

As i've said before, i don't think it's fair to pick out specific lines of the songs that sound like michael, apart from the rest. I feel that whoever is impersonating these tracks could sound more like michael at some parts more than others--according to some, these tracks were cut and paste together from 12 or more takes, the impersonator was bound to sound VERY similar to michael at some points.but overall, it doesn't sound like michael. and that's how we have to take these tracks.

I would be absolutely 100% SHOCKED if it came out that michael sang even one word of these tracks, besides the "aaows" and "yeahs" we already know about

oh god, i feel like i have to take a shower after listening to KYHU, i haven't heard it in weeks. it's not ok. the "yeahs" cut and pasted into that track are the only part that don't make me feel like banging my head against a wall.

The reason that you're told that if you don't think that "soldier boy" sounds like michael, then you shouldn't think ANY of the cascio tracks sound like michael is because the singer on "soldier boy" sounds identical to the singer on the reast of the cascio tracks.

if a cascio track got released that sounded exactly like michael, then the singer on that legit track wouldn't sound anything like the singer on the OTHER cascio tracks. so of course, if i heard one that sounded like michael, i would think that one was michael, and the rest weren't. but that's not going to happen.

it has very little to do with where the tracks are from, when they were recorded, etc., etc. it has to do with what it SOUNDS like, and bottom line, Soldier Boy doesn't sound like michael, and it DOES sound like the other cascio tracks. t's not about where it comes from, it's just about what sounds like michael and what doesn't. BOJ = :) Soldier Boy = :(

oh it proves absolutely nothing. i'm not saying it's michael--in fact, the snippets i've hard are 100% NOT michael--just saying i heard it was catchy, that's all. i think E.T by katy perry is catchy too and i effing hate that song

I don't think anyone made any "proof" claim about it. I certainly didn't. In my next message I said "I can't comment until I listen to the whole song".

I wasn't refering to your comment about judging or not judging the song.It is just that it drives me nuts to know that there are people who have heard the songs while we are fighting to find out the truth behind.

But, again I see you seem to report what Birchey said, while he actually reported much more than simply that. He also said that it is a complete mess regarding the bunches of recordings and vocals and cut-pasting. So why only report that it is catchy, and not all other things he said???

Everyone knows what he wrote. I just wrote a tiny bit of what he said to me in private. I don't remember him commenting on soldier boy specifically publicly.

That's kinda the same boat I'm in at the moment.

OT: How do you deal with people stuck in a time warp? You know, the people that'll shout at you across the corridor "Hey idiot, Michael Jackson's dead!"? These people are somewhat unpleasant and I want to know how to free them from being stuck in June 26th 2009.
