Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

How come none of the people who claim to be in possession of these leaks - Birchey, Ivy - have had any action taken against them?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

It seems at least 6-8 people I've noticed have other Cascio tracks that none of us have heard. And some paid large amounts of money for them, right?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

If they can do it with BOJ, HT, etc. why not the Cascio songs?? Why can they not provide even a morsel of transparency with those songs? Why are they treated differently? We know you're reading this, Sony.

This is what I have been asking since the album release.

It seems they don't hesitate to share pieces and bits of evidence of Michael's inputs in all songs, except the Cascio tracks. But, they are mute on the Cascio tracks. I wonder why?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

Michael never wrote a single journal entry or recorded any audio of himself speaking at that Cascio house?

And :lol:mad:The post above me. (Cialis meds? Lol)

That's probably Sony's reply to us. Some advertisement for pharmaceuticals... How typical of them bastards! :D

Clarification: I don't have any unreleased songs in my possession and I never claimed such thing. If you remember way back I even told that I don't download or listen to any leaks (I still don't have the previous leaks either). I just said "the water I know" and never answered how I know what I know. and if you are curious I just repeated what I was told by the people who listened to the songs. (if you go to my posts the day Birchey mentions hearing the songs and you'll see that I write I didn't think water song actually existed. in my posts next day after Birchey mentioned the leaks, you'll see that I wrote "Birchey and I talked about this in private". I asked him about water in our private discussion and he told me about the song).that's all.

so I didn't claim having them, I didn't even claim to hearing them. as a result I would really appreciate if you can stop with your baseless claims and do not put words in my mouth.

As far as Birchey if you read his initial posts he's the one that notified the Estate of the leaks. So probably stopping the leaks brought him points. and he's openly against leaking them.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

^^yeah... talking about being a product... how appropriate! ;)

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

No, he never turned himself into a product. He became a global brand. He's so popular that he became the most recognizable man in the world. His name became a strong brand like Coca Cola and McDonald's.

But, Michael Jackson, the man himself is not a can of Coke. He's not a manufactured soul-less product that is waiting to be consumed by people.

A product would not see himself as the platform to send social message, environmental message and message of love. He never sold his soul out.

Yes, he became a brand after Thriller. He tried to heal the world using his name. Was he a tool used by Epic to make money? Unfortunately, yes. But, he didn't exist to be an consumerable item.

We should not forget he's also one of the greatest humanitarians, a father and a son.

Think about it, would all of us be so passionate about this man if he's just a tool, an item and a product?

May be it's me. I'm quite offended by the term "product". A product is disposable. A product is subject to depreciation. A product will become obsolete. A product is without a soul. Michael Jackson is none of the above.

Ooops got brand mixed up with product my bad.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

I'm against these leaks, too. It's getting great people banned for life from this community and it is completely unnecessary over some bullshit(using samhabib's word) snippets! :( So sad...

I agree with what you said before, as well, ivy, hearing them will not change anyone's opinion on the issue anyway.

However, I guess sometimes I'm really not sure if it's Michael or not or if it's partially Michael and partially an imitator... I have a feeling that there might be some better validation of this on further released tracks, but I am patient enough to wait for them...

These tracks sound stranger to me every day so it gets more frustrating not getting any simple easy evidence so the fans aren't debating this...

I also had this thought yesterday... about the whole placement of this thread in the Conspiracy section ordeal...

The whole rumor of Paul McCartney dying and being replaced... Isn't that kind of the same conspiracy argument here? Michael dies and they bring in a replacement? All of the 'doubters' say that they can SEE he's different... They've been fans for a long time. They KNOW the real McCartney versus the fake McCartney. They say the fake McCartney is taller, has a longer face, etc.

Seems very similar to this argument here... doubters here say they can HEAR he's different, they KNOW Michael's voice. I guess one major difference here is that McCartney is still alive, but people still defend this belief to their grave! I don't know, seems very close.

That will always be one of the famous music conspiracy theories... I have a feeling that, along with the death hoax, this faking the tracks conspiracy will also be put in the same group.

I for once agree with you, WATER does not exist. Maybe JM sang it, but not MJ, the snippet proved it.

It is only proof for You. For me it is just another MJ snippet from Cascio session which was comparised by Kapitol77 with Malachi voice. Just another amateur comparison which prove nothing.

I don't think it's only a proof to me, but to all those who think like I do, i.e. many people.

you confused me. the snippets are not comparisons.

There was one snippet that was leaked with JM's song Critical. But as the voices are the same you couldn't hear the difference. :D

:lmao: seriously, i never thought it's a comparison. i thought it's a longer snippet...

Maybe I wrote sth illogical. I think that new snippets prove nothing to me. It is still Michael Jackson. And new snippet which was compared with Malachi voice by Kapitol77 is still only a comparison made by amateur. It just didn't change my opinion about who sing in songs from cascio.

No, you didn't write anything illogical. The problem is me. I didn't realize there is a comparision being made. I thought the snippet from Kapitol is just a longer snippet of the song. I didn't even realize Critical was used. I thought it's the same voice.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

bahahahahahaha...same here :lmao:

:fear:

gosh... the vocal blends in just perfectly...

so, we are talking about a leaked Michael Jackson song that mixes in a known Jason Malachi song seamlessly.

Sadly, it's ridiculously hilarious.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

Yes but I still cannot understand exactly why and how this could have happened. My ears and my brain and my gut are at war on this issue... That's why some real solid evidence would be assuring.

What you don't understand is that we didn't need Kapital's comparisons to hear it is not MJ on those tracks. He didn't do it for us, why would he? He did it for the Cascio-tracks-supporters to make you hear the striking similarities. Yes, you can call those comparisons amateurish, but at least they are better than SONY's zero evidence. (not to mention SONY's excuse when they said they streamed the wrong mix, lol, how professional).

That is the biggest load of bull I've heard...A massive company like Sony accidentally streaming the wrong mix of a brand new Michael Jackson song to premiere? RIIIIIGHT....

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

^^And what really upsets me is that Sony is definitely aware of this on-going discussion, but they decide to do nothing to make the fans feel better. One might argue that we are not representative to the complete fan base, we are just a small drop of water in the ocean. But, they feel threatened enough to issue a letter to Gaz and order him to ban Pentum and Kapital. So, instead of trying to provide us additional evidence to raise our comfort level. They decided to silent us.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

I would imagine one would find it difficult to argue we're a drop in the ocean when you consider the list of fanclubs that protested the Cascio tracks.

They feel much more threatened. The official www.michaeljackson.com site is full of comments from angry fans regarding the Cascio tracks.

Yes, it's true that Sony gave zero evidance to confirm that this is Michael. But I still hear MJ in cascio songs. I have open mind and like audio comparison so when one day I will hear comparison which change my mind, I will feel guilty and I will be in shock. But for now I just still hear Michael Jackson. Maybe not amateur but professional comparison made by audiologist can change my way of thinking.

IKR. If Breaking News was streamed on April 1, I would have thought it's a joke from Sony.

Seriously, the first single from Michael Jackson (the most valuable "product" Sony owns and the bread winner of Sony Music) in nine years, they **** up like that. It took a complete idiot to achieve such fest.

Not to mention Hollywood Nights on the youtube channel... Yeah, they are so professional that they don't know what double-checking means.

Yeah but some people keep on undermining that importance.

Well it seems obvious that SONY NEVER made a mistake in the first place. They were taking the temperature, testing us.

Plus all the comments doubting vocal authenticity on iTuen and Amazon.

People remember this album not for wonderful songs like Best of Joy, but the controversy.
