Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

Well, to me, they've accomplished nothing on that show...My point is, they had a perfect platform to prove the vocals were indeed Mike's - they didn't do this besides a pathetic 'It is Michael' from both Teddy and the Cascios. That doesn't tell me shit, sorry...And, yes, the Cascios stated what a great person Michael was, but obviously that wasn't Oprah's intention to portray as she pushed the allegations as she always does...So, it really is difficult to tell exactly why that show was set up....

Exactly, she didn't miss that question, did she.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

Yes, yes, but I think she also might like to give people a chance to defend him against that when so many people have that ugly misconception of him.

If she really cared about his defense, she would have avoided the subject altogether...

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

Maybe the Cascio's DO have more evidence but weren't allowed time to go through everything when Oprah's the big boss, they're on a strict time limit, and there are directors and producers who keep the flow going?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

Well, then spend more time showing that evidence and less time saying 'It is Michael'

Maybe. Maybe not. Yet they had the time to show some pictures and some home videos. lol

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

Still not a good reason why Eddie would lie about all this and sell his friend out two days after he dies.

Remember the story of how the entire family got to talk to Michael before he passed away? And the photo of him at their him in 2009? These people were very close to him, I'm not convinced that they'd lie.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

Well, I don't want to believe they'd lie; who wants to believe something like that? However, Michael's been betrayed before...it's not entirely impossible....The human race can be a cruel lot.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

I don't care who lied at this point. All I care is absence of Michael's vocals on those tracks. Those who know Michael's voice very well know what I am talking about lol.

Wow, BUMPER SNIPPET and Arklove, didn't know you had trained with Michael Jackson, heard him after just waking up, just before bed, in all different kinds of situations you've heard him sing! You've even heard him sing in the shower before?

How can you say you know Michael's voice so well when you've only heard professional recordings and concert performances and interviews? You never spent any personal time with the man.

Again, they don't have any form of evidence themselves besides saying "It's him, this is where he recorded."..There is no footage, there is no photos, there is nothing to prove that Michael actually sang on those songs other than words by others. Combine that with the fact that the vocals don't even sound like him fully, then that puts us in the position we are currently in.

I bought the album, I listen to it in the highest quality but I can't hear him..There are parts where I think "That kind of sounds like him..." but it should not be like that...I get that argument that it's "rough vocals" yet, just the basic pronunciations sound different to me..Now either Michael did a hell of a job altering is voice to become a different person, or that is not him. With these Cascio tracks I feel I am listening to someone else..It's very concerning that the people in charge would let songs like these, conflicting songs, to be on this album.

Even in Smooth Criminal? :/ Who ever had doubts of Smooth Criminal, a song from BAD?

We didn't say anything of the sort, and you know it..

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

I know it, but you act like you know Michael's voice so much better than me when I've been singing Michael Jackson songs since I was a toddler and listening to every song by him daily. I don't know his voice? Okay.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

^^ I never said you didn't.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

Okay, well I don't think he sounds like a completely different person and I know Michael's voice, too.

OPPORTUNITY is very tempting even in the most loyal of auaintances. We can't say what people will or won't do given the chance. We'd love to give people the benefit of the doubt but we've learned that doesn't work. Michael trusted 2 families he thought would stand by him but they BOTH lied about his character and made false allegations. Casicos probably thought lying about the music would be a much lesser offense....but they did it anyway.

As a family that was supposed to be SO close to MJ they should know the voice on the tracks need some type of explanation....if they owned that fact it may have been easier to swallow the lie about their low grade studio causing the discrepancy. Anyone saying the voice on the 3 Cas tracks sounds like Regular Michael well I'm sorry but those people don't really know Michaels voice.

With mj gone they were free to betray him musically to benefit themselves. We all know that had Michael lived those sophomoric tracks would have NEVER seen the light of day. NEVER.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

JaXXXon, what about Best Of Joy? You think that's worth being released just because his vocals sound better?

Yes I did.

@Tsukiji: No, They said they know Michael's voice, and I was being sarcastic towards them. It's you who's not getting the context of my post.

They said, "All i care is absence of michael's vocals on those tracks. Those who know michael's voice very well know what i am talking about lol."

Like anyone who doesn't know what he's talking about doesn't know Michael's voice. Hello? Do you get it now?

Loool, what you didn't get is that actually I was being sarcastic :D

I could have lived without BOJ on the album....it's kind of a snoozer. Slave to The Rthym or Blue gangsta or DYKWYCA would have been much better choices.

Having said that...I'll take snoozy real Mike over Mike-lite any day of the week.

It seemed as though others didn't, either, when they said they 'agree' and 'exactly', by the way Best Of Joy is one of my favorite Michael Jackson tracks ever.

But the fact is that I know better MJ's voice than you do. And I say this in all modesty.

Because you know me so well.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

I pity people who listen to those Cascio tracks, because life is so short, and knowing that some innocent fans are tricked to believe that it is Michael singing and wasting their precious moments of life in listening those songs is breaking my heart.

But together with my sisters and brothers, we doubters, hand in hand, are going to pray for you in our doubters temple. We will save you from the deception.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

I can tell Michael from Jason Malachi. I have grown up in radio and listening to music. I have always been inspired by Michael Jackson. I have listened to Jason Malachi's music and I can tell the difference. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about loooooool
