Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Birchey is that amazing new song as good as "Slave To The Rhythm"?
Is it recent (post HIStory)?

I'm thinking about the song that could be included on a new album.

Clue: It is a song from Invincible outtakes that was later reworked in the last few years of Michael life

I don't want to mention it myself, but I have told some people privately, they might post :agree:

MJ's and Brads work is always amazing, as for the album I aint got a clue when its about, just some small info about possible tracks and stuff

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Always get excited when I hear about Brad's tracks with MJ, they always have that bit of magic about them :)

And no Cascios & Malachi?.

I don't think we will be hearing from the Cascios again  unless they come up with some real sounding MJ track

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Was the song being considered to be included in Michael?

I can't wait to hear the song. I'm addicted to Invincible lately. I love Michael's mature voice. I'd love to hear all outtakes from the Invincible session.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

You know what I think another new album which will blow 'Michael' away is what this fan community needs right now.

No controversy, no arguing, just great, great Michael Jackson songs that EVERY single MJ fan can enjoy! The first album was never going to be perfect, everyone wants different things, I'm sure the Estate wasn't 100% sure which direction to go with it. But I feel now they have experienced what the fans really want, by how we reacted to certain songs on 'Michael', and can learn from this.

I think thats an important point to note, in years down the line we are going to have many more albums of material, 'Michael' was a good first try - Maybe there are areas which definitely need improving or taking note of, but everyone involved with the project can learn from it and move on to greater things we can all enjoy... together

Ok, thanks.

Some of the "Breaking news", "KYHU", and "Monster´s" lovers will have to wait till the next Jason Malachi´s album.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I just want to see Birchey's evidence, so I know for 100% even though I still think it is not Michael, but what Birchey has got will make it concrete for sure, which we all need.

But I understand Birchey.

I sincerely hope what you said is truly the case. I hope everyone involved in the Michael album would learn from the this mishap and do a better job in all future projects.

Don't underestimate Michael's fans. We breathe MJ everyday. We are more familiar with his voice than our own voice, We pay attention to the details. Fans cannot be fooled.

Don't treat Michael just like another popular singer who happened to be hugely successful commercially. Michael Jackson was an artist. He was a force of nature. Don't treat him like yet another deceased artist.

I still cannot forget what Sony and the Estate have done. They wasted a good opportunity. Michael's first posthumous release would have had a potential to be a much more successful album. Are they this out-of-touch? These are people who got paid huge money doing their jobs. Yet, they keep making bad decisions.

I hope they can be less calculated in their next attempt. Do what Michael would have done. Just put the best materials out. Adhere to Michael's artistic integrity. Take risk. Do it with love and respect.

Birchey has no evidence. He shared his opinion with us. ;)
He never claimed to have actual evidence. Some people have mistaken him.

I am so wary of a new album :(

I don´t think so. He has things that he can leak:

I cant and wont release any specific information but I have heard all 12 Cascio songs (Raw demos) and also seen pictures of the tracks being edited.

Certain people here can vouch for me, but a leak of certain material cant happen, at least not from me, but I feel fans need certain information, I know the songs, all of them are copy and paste cuts from at least 10 vocals each, and from viewing the waveforms of each vocal track used, there is nothing wrong with the recordings, and also no clips, claps and so on like Michael would do, the breathing and grunts have been pasted in between vocals, I just wanted to add my 2 cents.

I wont upload or leak anything as its not my place to do so, and personally I dont like this whole cascio situation, whatever the outcome us fans find it wont ever change the minds of those at Sony, we cant do anything now.

And, by the way, here you have evidences:

^ He was talking about the Pro Tools sessions, Kapital77. They show how the songs were put together.

That's no actual evidence and he knows it and said so. What he said is his personal opinion and nothing else.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I've heard the songs - they are all fake. Jason Malachi is all over them. Theres so much wrong with them!

To clear things up:

Birchey heard "raw demos" - which in his opinion doesn't sound any more like Michael then the released versions.

Even if it leaks everyone's determination will depend on what they hear and will again be personal opinion.

Secondly Birchey has pictures of tracks being edited - which shows a cut paste approach to the final production of songs. (and I personally do not think that anyone disagrees with this information)

In short they are not really "evidence" to end this debate one way or another, they are simply additional information that might or might not change everyone's personal opinion about the vocals.

Bichey did not say that he has RAW VOCALS.

Post me the link
where he said that he has RAW VOCALS.

And, for me and others, this is another info who said it´s Jason Malachi and not MJ. Info that came from a person who has listened to things that we did not heard.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I know. The past four months have almost been depressing to me...

Anyone knows whether OTW 30 is still the plan for this year?

From what I have heard yes :)

sorry he heard raw demos. My bad, I'll edit my post and correct it. The demos are in the quote that you posted above
