Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

As I've said months ago, KYHU is probably the best effort of the 3. I believe it also contains genuine background vocals from 2:22-2:43 and 2:50-2:55.

Here you have:

Every time she feels this (Malachi) Way (MJ) yyyy (Malachi).

Malachi+MJ (From older song) + end of Malachi (Vibrato)

Use headphones.

And also, check it for yourself:

What do you think, BIRCHEY?.

One liner clip, doesn't prove anything yes?

I hadn't paid attention to this, but you are absolutely right! "WAY" is inserted in the sentence!

I had paid attention to this, but you are absolutely wrong! what were you thinking??

Now, Bumper, that's not very nice :nono:

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

About the MJ singing "Way" in KYHU. It is indeed pasted and not conintued from the vocals right before, but it doesn't mean it's MJ. IMO, it's just Jason doing a new take.

@Worldwide: I just love how you say you believe it's Michael on all the tracks, when you deep inside don't.

What do you think, BIRCHEY?.

Jason could have sung the whole line and don't waste time mixing....

?!?!?!

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

@Pentum: What about the fact that we hear Michael Jackson on these tracks? What are we supposed to be convinced by? Your one liner comparisons of Critical and Keep Your Head Up?

Are we supposed to believe it's Jason solely because the vibratos sound similar? What about the entire voice? Why don't the voices really match up? Jason, in my honest opinion, sounds a lot different than Michael on these Cascio tracks.

I am not saying these tracks aren't butchered, copied and pasted, borrowed from other tracks, pitched, chopped, tuned and effected to try to make them sound way more complete than they were, but I still think the voices are different and the styles are different between Jason Malachi and Michael Jackson.

I'm always anxious to hear more, though... I'm hoping some of this material leaks that we've been hearing about these past few days.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

If the stuff ever leaks, don't expect any difference in the voice compared to the already released ones even though they are "raw" (unleaked ones).

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Let's hope it gets leaked soon!
Pentum: did you also had a chance to listen to those songs?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

In short fabricated from A to Z and then released on a MJ album. And many are ok with that.
The thing is, Bumper, since Michael is gone if he had songs that were like this there was no other way to do it.

If Michael had recorded just lines and choruses to some background music they still wouldn't be ready for an official Michael Jackson release. They'd still need to create the background music, set the acapella to that, most likely doing a lot of chopping to make it all fit and pitching and tempo changes, etc.

Then they would HAVE to go in and add little extra Michael Jackson elements to the song because it's Michael Jackson and he would have gone and done his own extra ad-libs himself if he were alive but he is DEAD so they HAD to copy-and-paste. Right?

meaning the truly raw vocals are destroyed? or never exist?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

yes, many people hear Thriller and BAD before. however, they don't hear the albums the way we hear them.

they don't put unbreakable/heartbreaker/invincible on loop like we did to feel the beats...

they don't pay attention to michael's phrasing like we did.

they don't pay attention to the way michael held a note like we did.

many people see the videos of thriller, billie jean and smooth criminal, they pay more attention to the visual rather than the voice. they would have no idea how phenomenal a vocalist michael jackson was. many people still think michael jackson was a great dancer who happened to have a good singing voice.

so, nine years after michael's last studio album, the first song they streamed online was freaking breaking news...

how are the public supposed to understand all these injustice? they don't spend hours and hours on message boards like this one to talk about the vocal authenticity and seek the truth. we can write off breaking news as we know the song is not representative of michael's talents. other won't. they listen to the song and think what a mediocre unworthy song it is and will never give michael another thought again.

:clapping:
Well said.
The most comprehensive post, it shows all the frustration, anguish and anger this whole controversy has put us through.

How about leaving them alone in the first place? How about not releasing them in the state that they have? How about respecting Michael's work and art? Right?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

@Arklove: Okay, well that means they didn't hire a fake vocalist then.

I think that they used those words from MJ for the forensyc analysis and to fool the fans. If you heard the part that is uploaded to Megaupload you can see that it´s a different voice.

Now, i have to find the song of Mj that include that "Way".

The thing is SONY claimed that the Cascio songs were the most complete ones! What the hell! At the same time they are the most complete ones and the most butchered ones?! Which one is it?

By the way, you don't butcher Michael's songs even if he's dead. You release them as a separate project and instead you put on the album releasable songs, not questionable songs with alien-like voice result.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I understand that point of view. And yes like I said the songs are very complete but they could have just been complete lines and chorus', not final recordings or with the extra ad-libs added yet.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Pretty sure I used the "MJ was pasted into the song *here*" argument a while ago and was told I was wrong. My, how the tables have turned.

?!?!?!

Is impossible that Malachi can sing that word in the same way as MJ.

By the way, it´s the best chance to fool fans and to fool forensyc analysis.

By the way, what about the "On the line" adlibs on "Monster".

Why Malachi did not sung that part?.

The same reason, he can sung like MJ and it´s better to fool the fans.

The voice might be similar, but it isn't the same. It's nice to try to emulate how they finished the "incomplete Cascio" songs.

Fabricating the music/vocals to the degree that they have is just as bad in my opinion.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

MJ will probably just start appearing more and more on these tracks until he's completely there.

Yes, but you believe Mj recorded NEW tracks with Cascios.

The part that i showed you it´s from older songs, not new.
