Thanks to "TPIMaster" from MaxJax.

Oh yeah, shake it, Malachi! You're singing like on the Cascio songs that you've recorded. Great music, I love it.

Nah, sorry, I was just joking.

And in case you've missed this uninspired rip-off performance, here it is:

Spill your heart out, Break Of Dawk 4, we're listening. :)

I believe I had to make 20 posts or so before I could actually use the message board... Actually it took months for them to even get my account set up.

It did take the mods quite some time to set up my account. Lol...

However, I've never had problem in posting. My first post went through without any issue.

Hey love is... I know what you're trying to say but I just don't agree that the clown on those songs sounds ANYTHING like Michael Jackson. It's a complete insult to think that anyone without the 40+ years of experience that Michael had - at the highest level known to mankind - could stroll up to a microphone and sound anything like Michael Jackson.

Just listen to the Breaking News acapella again. And listen to 'they wanna write my ho'bitttch-uarrrry' and then tell me if that sounds like someone who studied at the school of Motown!

Sam, I agree with you. The singing skills that Michael Jackson could alreay master at the age of 10 were totally absent in those three Cascio tracks.

I feel the phrasing on Stay and Breaking News is aweful.

But, I cannot deny that the voice does sound similar to Michael's voice; despite the lack of husk, richness, energy and sparks.

Ok, well stop listening to the 'song' then, and listen to the VOICE.

Indeed!!! For me, it became obvious that these songs are fake when I isolated every single word in the lead vocals. By doing so, I was able to easily identify words/phrases that could not possibly come from Michael's mouth. No way.

TO ALL BELIEVERS, I have a very simple challenge for you. Please listen again to the words "And you're running, And you're running just to scape it" from the second verse of Monster. Can you honestly hear Michael's voice in these 10 words? Does the voice sound like Michael Jackson to you? I'm very anxious to hear your thoughts after you have completed the test.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Don't forget "BUT THE GUNNE FO THE MONNEH SO THE FAKE EEEEIT"...

... And everything else.

One line that is just as bad is in All I Need: "CLOOOOOOOSE YOUR EEEEEEEYEEEEES, IMAGINE IIIIIIIIIIIIII'M TAAAAAAAAAKING YOUUUUUUU AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY--Y-Y-Y--Y-Y--YY.".

LMFAO :hysterical:

Actually that's my favourite verse from Monster along with the zig-zag one

To me, the line is probably the most problematic line on Monster. I feel the vocalist has trouble in keeping up with the beats. I feel he's catching up. Not only is the voice off, but the way this line is sung is off too.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

And tell me how it should have been sung instead?

'They eat your soul like a vegetable'.

Man... It's a good thing that nugget got added to the legacy of Michael Jackson, right? Imagine if the Cascio's hadn't rush registered those tracks... we'd never have heard such profound lyrics and Michael's legacy would have been lesser for it.

The vegetable one was added after MJ's death :dancin:

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

We don't know that? :)

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

If the songs sounded ANYTHING like Michael Jackson, we'd be able to find a REAL MJ song that compares to those Cascio tracks...Yet, there are an abundance of comparable Jason Malachi songs. Right even down to the snort!

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Michael's timing is always always absolutely excellent. He never sounded forced in fast song. But, on Monster, the vocalist sounded struggling.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Check the early version of monster. No vegetable there.
It sounds like the same background singers saying "Vegetable" though. Either they added it later or , I don't know, put it back after not incudling it in the demo since it sounded so gay?

Agree with everything this woman says. About these tracks anyway. Not when she's talking about Michael's gold pants. Definitely don't agree with anything she says then.

But this post... Hits the nail on the head!

So, have you accepted the challenge and listened AGAIN to these 10 words in the song? Does this sound like Michael Jackson?

It is true that, on this particular line, MJ's voice is particularly strange-sounding. In the same way, I'll admit that the first verse on "Stay" sounds weird too. Let's see two possible explanations :

1- The original MJ vocals for those particular parts were particularly weak, or missing, or incomplete, and had to be over-produced to mask the weakness, or overly-processed to match the rest of the vocals, or augmented or replaced by backing vocals from James Porte, who for those small parts basically served as lead vocalist. This theory is perfectly believable, understandable, and consistent with what Sony, the Estate and Eddie Cascio have said.

2- The singer is an impostor, and the whole thing is an incredibly complex, high-stakes hoax that involves potentially dozens of people keeping silent for decades over what would be a major, industry-wide scandal opening the doors to million-dollar lawsuits.

Hmm, which explanation makes the most sense?

Hot-blooded indeed. :naughty: I just had to post a little bit of off-topicness...You may drool, then we'll proceed to the debate again...

Thank you Michael for not wearing underwear.

Ivy, Jesta - I would also love to hear your thoughts regarding these 10 words from Monster. Putting aside the logic, feelings, etc., do you hear Michael?

Re #1, the lead vocals for Monster are only credited to Michael Jackson (unlike KYHU where the "vocals" are credited to both Michael Jackson and Porte according to the album notes). Moreover, I believe that both Sony and the Estate have said that the lead vocals are "100% Michael". As ONLY Michael Jackson is credited with the lead vocals on Monster, any other result must = fake. There is no middle ground for this song.

Kreen how would explanation number 1 not be fraudulent? You are basically saying that parts were non existant and that they were 'filled in' or 'supplemented' with somebody elses voice.... Porte you say and as he's credited what's the big deal? Are you serious? You are talking about lead vocals. Porte is only credited for backing vocals. How is it not fraud when even you admit that parts of the lead vocals are not michael? How can you 'over produce' something that is missing? Something that does not exist?
