Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

1) the registration has been explained a lot of times. it's nothing unlogical, uncommon or suspicious. (check older postings for reference)

2) the second part of your posting is sth you've posted more than 10 times at least. it's your subjective feeling of the songs.
no-one here is an authority to say that the songs are sth MJ could have written or not. no-one.
there's no logic in your feeling, it's based on your personal feeling towards MJ as an artist. this is sth that every human perceives totally different.

you wish to win this Cascio debate. you won't do so when you're not securing objectivity.

The registration is proof positive that there's no way of knowing that Michael Jackson knew ANYTHING about these songs. That's the point.

No one on here can say that Michael Jackson was a great songwriter? Really?

Objectivity? You be objective. The sky is blue, the grass and green and Michael Jackson was the greatest singer of the pop-era. Unlike the clown on the Cascio songs. But you stick to your objectivity.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I agree, it is embarrassing for them to not know this. News footage is almost always immediately removed from Youtube. :/

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

^ Commercial distribution includes TV screenings. LOL!

Commerce is everything a company gets money for. TV channels and radio stations are paying fees.

It's embarassing for you and Kapital to not know this.

As predicted, the goalposts move wider and wider. Let's read what you wrote earlier,

"Most live footage is NOT on anything that is commercially distributed (except the Dangerous concert from Bucharest)."

So all of the Bad videos that are online, from news footage to MTV (ie. 'most') isn't commercially distributed? But now that I've proved you wrong, it is?

Make up your mind.

Most people don't think about TV and radio. That's why I mentioned the Dangerous concert DVD. I didn't expect you to even come up with a TV recording and wanted to make it easy.
The word "on" implies that I was talking about things you can buy. Read more carefully.

It's quite normal to start with easy things to explain/discuss and you know that.

Make up YOUR mind. Nice try.

Thanks to the Cascios for not bringing anything more than a shower excuse.

I'm not sure what you're actually trying to say here as this message is so poorly worded.

Explain why so much live Michael Jackson footage is on YouTube. All yours...

Hey, you guys are the ones that are confused as to what you're hearing on these tracks....If Sam's posts haven't enlightened you by now after almost 400 pages, I really don't know what will...

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Don't twist my words, samhabib. In debates such as these, especially without evidence at this time, there is no right or wrong opinion. The whole purpose of this debate is to express opinions, not to force it on others. I do not dismiss evidence or other things when it crops up, unlike others on here.

Well, this is correct. The voice clearly doesn't sound like Michael Jackson.

The stations are paying money to have a license to broadcast certain stuff. It is their turn to take legal actions against recordings that are being shared on youTube e.g. and they often don't spend money on this for the following reasons:
1) it's a waste of money (money that could be investigated into far more important things)
2) there's almost always no advantage from the removal (it's good promotion of their name), they don't lose money (a recording has almost zero impact on their ratings (TV) / audience (radio))
3) removal leads to nothing, especially on online portals like youTube that are used by masses of humans with lots of people that will just re-upload it again and again...

It depends on the situation though. If they feel the need to claim for copyright infringement to make their licensed stuff more exclusive and more unheard/unseen, thus more rare, they will do so.
This is done by companies with a good liquidity.

Sometimes the copyright holder (=the licensor) is taking legal actions instead of the licensee, e.g. if there are future plans with the material that they are granting a license of.
Example: exclusive screening of a movie on only one TV channel and scheduled DVD release some weeks after

3) removal leads to nothing, especially on online portals like youTube that are used by masses of humans with lots of people that will just re-upload it again and again...

But I thought they were automatically deleted? So what difference would it make if people continue to upload the same material? If the bots can automatically delete them?

I am starting to think that the Cascios said that thing about the shower to cover the future possibility that Prince and Paris will talk about fake tracks.

It´s impossible that they would be in the shower hearing how his father sung.

Eddie could say, "they were not in the shower with his father, they did not heard the recording of the three songs".

LOL !!!!

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Thanks to the Cascios for not bringing anything more than a shower excuse.

I'm even willing to consider the shower vocal booth explanation. However, I still cannot attribute the difference in the Cascio tracks to the shower.

When I listen to WBSS 2008 Remix, I can imagine Michael's background vocals are recorded thru a pipe becasue of the echos. Michael still sounded like Michael. Michael's voice is that distinctive.

Like I said earlier, I don't need to pay 100% attention to detect Michael's voice. His voice comes to me and I can feel him.

Things just don't add up.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

^ It acts as a deterrent. Not everyone is a fanatic who will re-upload again and again, create new accounts etc, alter sth in the file to make it harder to be recognized that quickly again. There are tricks to delay a new detection.

Actually I'm pretty sure you know all this and you're just asking for fun. I'm not here to answer all this easy questions that a lot of people know the answers to. We're not in a kindergarden.

Your question is almost the same like this one:
If people can kill the copy protection of a CD/DVD, why do companies still care to use it on their products?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Yes, something is up, but there's no real point in faking these tracks...

I don't see anything super harmful about them. It's not like he's admitting to being a pedophile and everyone's saying these songs are evidence of that. It's a few songs where he talks about making the world better, being in love, and tabloids talking about him..... why would they need to fake songs about that? He has hundreds.

No. It's more like this:

"Why do the bots work randomly and why are some copywrites adhered to and others aren't?' ie. Why are Jason Malachi videos taken down the moment they go up but Michael Jackson ones aren't?

Because they're shit. And the vocalist is joke. And the lyrics are pathetic. If you're happy for Michael Jackson's name to be tarnished by them, so be it. Don't expect other fans to be.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Most songs that are released from around 2005-2006 on are usually removed, I've seen. Back when I used to use myspace years ago, I uploaded a song by Placebo that instantly suspended my account because their software detected a match with one of their copyrighted songs. I had to remove the song. If you do add a slight alteration to the track, you can sometimes get past the filter. If you add some beeps or if something is disturbed with the track, the waveform won't match right.

That's why you see people uploading tracks with the pitch upped, so the tracks don't match and it gets past the software system.

This has been going on automatically for years.

I'm surprised that this thread is still going considering that there's nothing more to be said. The only course of action in this entire situation is to agree to disagree.
