Michael Jackson's Vision' DVD Boxed Set Available Everywhere Monday November 22

This wouldn't be a proper Michael Jackson release w/o all the bitching and moaning. At the end of the day Sony didn't drop the ball like we thought they would. This APPEALS 2 EVERYONE not just we hardcore MJ fans. It's bringing the light back 2his craft and introducing the next generation to the man we all loved. To put out a BAD Tour dvd RIGHT now...would be pointless. Most pple would rather see the videos FIRST then see the songs performed. You dont want it, dont buy it. Simple. At the end of the day its a wondeful collection and that cover is epic. The same videos yall were bitchin about not having official releases have them (TDCAU Prison version/she's out of my life, once more chance etc.) and its STILL not good enough. There is simply no pleasing MJ fans. Even with a BAD tour release i gurantee sum1s gonna bitch about the cover, the editing, why doesnt it have this or that. How come we dont have any behind the scenes of mike putting the show together and blah blah blah.Youre never satisfied. EVER.

You said it! :agree: How much do you want to bet that when we do get an album with all new unreleased music, the same drama queens who are always looking for something to complain about in this forum, will find fault with that as well? Blech! So sick of the moaners and whiners....especially when considering the circumstances. -_-

Brilliant post!

It's always the same 3 or 4 people though bud. I wouldn't give them the time of day. I think they are just sad, attention seeking, moaners, with nothing really constructive to add to life, so they go around being miserable and picking holes in everything to make their shallow existence seem a little better than it really is.

Meanwhile, the real MJ fans - those proud to see his masterpieces back at the front of the stores - will continue to enjoy themselves.

I'm buying this purely for the booklet and the box, I'm gonna wait for the Blu-ray, If I put this dvd into my system, the quality will be poor and I'll be disappointed at the end of the day my TV is set up to play hi def not crappy dvd, I'll keep playing my Moonwalker BD / This Is It, till then. Hopefully OMC will be available on Itunes as a download.

I love it, OK it's sad they did not have HIStory remix and some other Jacksons vid's on it.... Please be happy with what you get....

Am i the only one that thinks the teaser is a little disapointing? And the video quality looks kinda crappy to me, doesn't look remastered??

I've pre-ordered it. I wish it was also being released in Blu-ray. But I'm not very impressed by the content of this DVD release, and I'm pretty sure the book has photos we've seen many times before. I just hope the remastered picture quality is impressive.

I can only hope it will be avalaible in my country.
I want it. I want everything from my dear Michael.
I miss him so...:(

I wonder why they didn't put there (i.e. on the third disc) live performances of the songs that doesn't have actual short film. There's so many:
Working Day And Night
Wanna Be Starting Something
Human Nature
I Just Can't Stop Loving You
Dangerous
HIStory... and more.

:wild: I can't wait for this to be released, I'm that excited I'm jumping up and down and my parents are like  wtf is wrong with you :toofunny:

I told my mum bout it and told her how i mainly wanna get it for the "one more chance" vid, she was like "why spend money just for that?"

Im still undecide on whether i should get it or not.

Ummm because it's a short film collection?

I really like it so far, I wish they put more on the third disc.
They could use some behind the scenes footage from the Dangerous DVD, add some making ofs for other videos that we know exist (History Era/YRMW) and it would be just great.

I didn't know there were two versions of who is It?
what's the difference?

I'm not sure why the original poster thought that the montage version of "Who is it?" is being used, the specs state 7 Who Is It 6:34:00 Director: David Fincher, which is the version everyone calls the Euro version.

There was also a montage video created using previous video clips, this version was shown in the states. Not really sure why they chose to do this, I have heard that MJ didn't care for the Fincher directed video. This may be true because there are some scenes where MJ was played by an Impersonator because MJ was available for the shoot.

I wonder how complete the OMC video will be?? If they had enough footage in the can to put a decent music video together it makes you wonder why they didn't just do that back in 2003.

I'm trying not to set my hopes too high for this video. The song is a ballad, so it's not as if we're going to be getting dance routines and special effects etc. But this is kind of a big deal. In the last 12 years we've only had one music video from Michael.... it will be so surreal seeing a "new" music video from him after all this time.

The last ever Michael Jackson video. :(

So MJ never made anything brand new videos from 2003 and over right? Well that we have seen right? I know the trial happen but what was MJ doing from 06-09. ASIDE from this is it?

Recovering I should think.

Either that, or taking a well deserved BREAK. Or he didn't want to do anything? He didn't owe it to anyone or any of us to produce more work.

Some people are complaining about what is on this boxset. You want everything? All in one go?... So then what, No more releases ever? Is that what you want? Because I know I don't.
There will come a time when there is nothing else.
I am happy for things to be released over the years to come..
Not all on one boxset in one go.

Thanks for clearing that up, the only reason I guessed the omntage video was beiing used is that I didn't see any clips from the Euro version in the promo video for "Vision" but I did see some live clips used in the montage version.

I personally think the video for "Who Is It" is terribly underrated. It's a great modern Michael video and I love the dark atmosphere, and Michael looks incredible!

they could have done all music videos in one box-set inclduing some missed now from The Jacksons.... & History remix... then you have complete boxset with original VIDEO CLIPS

David Fincher as the Fight Club and The Social Network Director?

Yep, He got his start directing Commercials and Music videos. He did a ton for Madonna and Paula Abdul. It's a shame he didn't get to work with MJ more, I had always heard that he was who MJ wanted to film the Dangerous video.
