Michael Jackson v. Wade Robson, a new trial to be held

I saw a video segment where Corey says that people came to him and his mother asking for negative information about Michael. And Corey says that Michael didn't do anything wrong. But there are others who did harass him and he can name names. But those people were only interested in blaming Michael, and they don't want other guilty people.
Correct me if I'm confusing things.
@hope thanks for the post Yes Personally, i think he is a good person and also his partner Courtney. Both very good people and pro Michael.

This may be the statement in question, but then again he claims Michael didn't hurt him.

"I don't want to be perceived as if I'm here to defend Michael Jackson because I can't do that anymore. I can't in my right mind defend someone who is accused of such horrible crimes," Feldman said. "I'm also not going to condemn him because, again, he didn't do those things to me and that was not my experience."

Making a statement like this is a pretty strong defense though. People have made similar statements on actively worse people.

Could you be more specific? For whom is this a strong defense?
And I think the statement was made under emotion when the storm over the movie was at its peak. Then, as the facts about the lies in the movie came out, Cory may have adjusted his opinion.

I could be wrong, but I thought he defended Michael when LN was first released, and then retracted his statement later.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis over Hyde. They said something similar. It was way more egregious.

Oh yeah, I heard about this a couple of weeks back.

I also heard that it's very rare that supreme courts would accept petitions for review. Personally, I'm expecting them to turn the Estate down, especially with these issues during the #MeToo/#TimesUp atmosphere, but I'm hoping that they'll make an exception and make time for a review. Again, this is just all that I heard.
Yeah, supreme court statistics aren't too favorable in most appeal situations, but this is a very unique case. The request hits many great points and if they read it with care, there's enough there to give true consideration to.

The argument around duty of care by Wades team is absolutely ridiculous when broken down from a legal perspective. if their argument were to have weight, companies all around the world would find themselves bankrupt due to suspicion of illegal activity. Employees would conspire to make claims against each other just to split the money from the lawsuits.

Later, in an interview with Rolling Stonе magazine, he returns to the subject and explains his statement
In doing so, he still does not accuse MJ of anything.

As distressing as this news is, I think it’s very unlikely that LN 2 will change the public’s perception of Michael and the allegations. From my understanding, this documentary is going to be focused on the upcoming trial with the Estate and not about the alleged abuse.

How many times has the lawsuit been dismissed initially before going to trial?

In LN, Wade portrayed MJ as Britney obsessed & spun it several ways in a single paragraph, side-stepping his own fling. Also claiming that MJ was "wondering if I could set up a way for them to meet."(No, MJ did not need Wade's "stardom" alure to reach Britney. He used a .)
Lots of other celebs have spoke how michael would call them and said they couldn't quite believe it. Don't think he would have needed Robson with any help with that.

Excuse me for being stupid but how is Robson's fling with Britney problematic for his abuse claims?

Yeah I don't see it as problematic.

Bedding prime Britney Spears would be like high fives all round in the guy world 😂
Because he claimed an exclusive relationship with Michael, who forbade him from even being near women. Like, actually. Not a single one.

That wouldn't even be needed and yet that's exactly what happened.

If I recall, did he not say that MJ wanted nothing further to do with him sexually once he became a man?

He said something along the lines that he had been replaced by younger boys which would give him full reign to do whatever?

He was a good looking guy and in his early 20s I doubt he could refrain from getting on with other hot girls

Yeah but it still distorts the timeline.

Didn't he also say something about MJ asking "creepy" sexual questions about Britney? He kind of lost his pedo narrative there.
