Michael Jackson v. Wade Robson, a new trial to be held

He's still possibly a serial rapist of women.
Is that Dan Wootton? Didn't know, I don't pay attention to him. In so far as I picked up anything about his story I thought it was something completely different.

Not asking for details, btw. If I feel I need to know more I'll go and find out.

It's not actually. I know next to nothing about him and was talking completely out the side of my mouth. It's almost funny how off base lol. But yeah, that's my bad.

@wendijane From July 2023, allegations were published against Wootton in Byline Times of inappropriate and criminal conduct, including catfishing former colleagues, overseeing a culture of sexual harassment while working at The Sun and orchestrating non-consensual voyeurism of victims using male pornographic actors paid with misappropriated funds.[4] Wootton said all criminal allegations were "untrue" and that he is the victim of a "smear campaign".[5] The MailOnline confirmed in early August it had paused Wootton's freelance column with the website pending its own investigation.[6][7]

I will admit, he didn't have to say anything about MJ. What he's accused of, idk, somehow the optics aren't as bad as MJ having so much contact with families.

Wooton truly is doing this because he wants to exonerate MJ.

Yes, that's the stuff I saw. Didn't look at it in detail and, in fact, had forgotten all about it. The man doesn't interest me and it's a depressing story but not exactly unusual so I didn't pursue it. I had felt a bit suspicious about his statements about Michael but now feel much more negative. I thought there was probably a self-serving element to this whole thing and now it seems much clearer to me.

He's definitely doing it just for some defense mechanisms. Still, it's not exactly effective even so why?

It's definitely not a simple left - right split. Not that you said it was but I just wanted to emphasise that. Here in the UK I've seen stuff in The Guardian about Michael which has been really grim. The Guardian newspaper positions itself as very leftie. Here in the UK newspapers are split politically and I read right across the spectrum. I have no brand loyalty to any newspaper. The tabloids are the worst bc they are tabloids but, apart from that, I don't think I've seen coverage in any particular paper being worse than the next one. They've all been crap, imo.
Oh yeah, I've seen the Guardian. They even allowed Dan Reed to write articles for them about MJ.

awesome interview

Indeed! Just a shame it was so short and only a segment of a longer interview for lots of topics where discussed. Razorfists 3 rebuttal videos should be more shared than they are, and also the comment section on them should be visited and guarded by MJ fans.

what razorfist said about the 93 case is so true though people are so effed up they think mj is guilty cuz he settled the case. Its like ummm you think it normal to accept money from someone that supposedly molested your son???!!! they literally ran with the money and did not go with tom sneddon for criminal case and i reckon tom wouldve lovveeeedd having a criminal trial with mj in 93.

With recent rape allegations against Russell Brand being brought forward people are saying that he should get a fair trial and that he's innocent until proven guilty and that he shouldn't be tried through media.

I agree with this, but where the hell was this energy when Michael was accused?! Michael DID go to trial and was cleared of ALL charges and yet there are people who still think he's guilty! And Michael keeps being tried through media all the time, but no one bats an eye about that!

Hypocrites!

bad news are more effective
it's part of our genes, because handling bad news was important to survive

Just finished reading this thread

This forum is the only place I'm seeing all these doom and gloom posts...

Interesting......

Like I said Ive been reading here for years and I definitely have noticed some suspicious accounts.

I'd advise everyone to be aware that psychological warfare and manipulation is a real thing.

Don't allow it to affect you.

I've checked out a Google search on the news on Russell Brand, and they're completely hammering on him and the allegations. Just thought I mention that.

That's true.

I think a lot of people are worried and exhausted that MJ cannot rest in peace. They're concerned how the trial will turn out, if it goes to that point. And they're concerned how the media will report it based on how it treated MJ in the past.

Personally, I'm curious as to how this will play out, but a little on the anxious side also.

I think the thread is a pretty normal mix of optimistic and pessimistic. I think it's understandable if people have anxieties and it's fine to have a space where they can express some of that anxiety.

Bc there seems to be a lot of anecdotal evidence to support the current claims plus there's lots of anecdotal evidence to suggest that various people in senior positions turned a blind eye to his behaviour - which he does not seem to have hidden. What's interesting to me is the way certain media outlets are ignoring the way in which they encouraged / enabled his behaviour and are trying to pretend the culture, which they helped to create, is really someone else's fault. Innocent until proven guilty. I'm not making any accusations here and I'm not even following the story in detail. Too depressing. But it's also very interesting, in many ways.

The problem ( and please guys dont hate for saying this) is he had neverland and the guilters think that was Michael's way to ''capture'' children and moslet them. I think had michael been livivng in a normal house people wouldnt have gaven Michael such a hard time

There is SO much interesting stuff in that document that Lightbringer posted:

B. Whether a plaintiff can circumvent the Probate Code and Code of Civil Procedure deadlines for suing a decedent’s estate by suing the decedent’s loan-out company is an important issue with statewide implications.
1. Plaintiffs sued the Corporations as an end-run around the statutory deadlines for bringing a claim against a decedent’s estate (a deadline plaintiffs missed here).
