I think he also proposed to Brooke Shields. She said that in a recent interview when they were younger. She said no but that he will always have her forever? What does that mean? I wish he had found the right person in his life too. I think he and Elizabeth were better as freinds and they were really like family. I will always respect her for how she never turned her back on him and wasn't afraid of the press. She didn't care what they or anyone thought Michael was her friend. I think I read she wants to buried near Michael as well.

People like Lisa and others were embarassed and just joined the media negativity. If you really love and care about someone who cares what other people think. She wanted nothing to do with Michael all these years and she acts like his widow or something. Her mother does the same thing. She and Elvis were divorced for years before he died and she acts like she is his widow. If she really cared and loved Michael she would not have said or done the things she did after the divorce to make herself look better. Now she says all these things like we are suppose to sympathize with her well I don't.

Hi, I think, it wasn't the media negativity they couldn't deal with, they were celebs and were fimiliar with media frenzy. MJ lived and breathed music and performing. It was his "first love" and they couldn't accept that.

Honestly if I was ever able to get married to him I wouldn't have wanted him to really settle down. I would l have loved to have a family yes, but I would have wanted him to keep performing because that's what he loved doing. His fans too, he loved his fans too much I think to really be able to fully retire from the business.

I agree. He needed someone that accepted the total package. MJ was the chosen one. He was born to perform. When he announced "This Is It" I thought, no, it can't be, MJ wouldn't be content never having another concert and performing for us.:no:
 
I think if you married someone like Michael then you can't expect them to change or to give up their work that they love or cut back. They have to decide that for themselves. When Michael had his kids they went everywhere with him and he did cut back or arrange things around them. When you marry someone and you know who they are then people think they can change them. It doesn't work like that. There can be compromise but some people want it their way and that's it. Lisa knew who Michael was but she thought she could change or help him like she says.

I think Lisa was also a little upset at how much attention Michael was getting from his female fans. She was probably also upset at how much he would spend time with children, but she knew all that stuff about him before she married him. If your going to get married to someone like Michael, than you should really learn about him and learn to accept him:doh:

she always wanted to have more children, I remember when someone asked her on The View what more does she want to do in the future - she didn't say write more music or anything like that she said she wants to have more children
so she always wanted more kids she just didn't want MJ's kids
and whatever she was trying to insinuate in her blog, that she tried to save him and that she got out of it because of his drug problems - in 1995 when he fainted and almost died the blood results showed clearly there were no drugs in his system he was clean so how does that make him an addict

You cannot change or "save" someone. Furthermore, I don't think MJ wanted his wife to save him, he simply wanted to be accepted and understood.

LMP & MJ were not on the same page about many things. The marriage was doomed for failure. According to the book, Magic & Madness, MJ's fainting was not caused by drug use. LMP and MJ were not on good terms, and she reluctantly came to the hospital to visit. She was infuriated with him and she wanted out. I believe she was so angry becuz he told her about DR's "offer"

I read she yelled at him in the hospital room. He was weak and she just yelling at him and upset his mother too. I don't get why she went to visit him. I don't care how angry you are you don't yell at someone that almost died in their hospital room.

She knew how sensitive he was too.
She can't be upset over the DB because Michael TOLD her he wanted children and what did she expect? Him to roll over and let her control the rest of his life. Sorry Princess that ain't how life works.
 
Do you think Michael knew his marriage would be over accepting Debbie's offer or do you think he thought Lisa would have accepted something like that?

I agree. But I think LMP was insulted he would tell her that. She may not have believed him at first, but, she began to believe he was very serious.

I think he knew Lisa wasn't serious about having children with him. And, in his desperate desire, he was willing to do it, hoping LMP may agree with it.

LMP is self-centered and very selfish. She didn't WANT to visit MJ--she was advised to do so for the sake of being his wife and how it looked in the media. When she finally got to see him she upset him so bad his heart rate began to rise, and he asked her out of the room. How can she be so inconsiderate???

I have to think he had to have known she wouldn't. I think when he knew she didn't want kids that the marriage wasn't the same for him anymore.

MJ knew Lisa wasn't serious about having children. I think he was fed up, desperate and was willing to try one last option, being in hopes she would agree. She simply didn't want children with him on any terms.

I feel really bad for him when he's pictured with Debbie Rowe too. He was finally able to have children but he just didn't love Debbie like that. I could tell he wanted Lisa back, he wanted her to be the mother of his children, not Debbie.
 
I don't think he wanted Lisa back because it must have been so hurtful to know she didn't want kids with him at all. Even though she promised him they would have kids right away before they got married. I think it was a big reason he married her. Maybe he wished it was different but I don't think he wanted her back.

Yeh...In the pics MJ didn't look really happy with Debbie. I feel soo sad for him tho, he was hurt so badly by Lisa. Intentionally deceived...well, he did finally become a dad, no thanks to LMP.
 
After LMP deceived him, why would MJ want her back again? Deception is a dealbreaker.

Why did I have to be under age when they broke up...man.
:( He was just too good for this world. He deserved the best women in the world, he just deserved the best but he got handed the worst. Except for his children, fans, and some of his family.

Exactly and that was about something really important. He realized that it wasn't going to work. I know he didn't love Debbie like that but after the kids came he was happy. The kids brought him real joy and unconditional love. Isn't you are my life about his kids?

Some say that Lisa was the love of his love. I don't think so.

Wow Oldmoon, I'm an old fan....lol! I rememeber MJ & J5 and when LMP lost her dad, Elvis. I was a young girl. MJ was too good, niave, and sensitive. Especially "show business" His lifetime motivation was sharing his God-given talent to the world and bringing happiness. But, his gift was exploited, and he was a constant target of the media. So many were not ready for the magnitude of his success and influence. He deserved soo much more peace and happiness than what he got.

I agree. I think even though he didn't find the right woman that his kids gave him real purpose in his life besides his work. He got real love from them. I don't think I saw anyone treat his fans better than Michael.
