Jackson's brothers on Larry King

loved it! but missed our guy so much... he shoulda been there with them

Given he was not going to do the reality show in the first place, he wasn't going to be there in the first place.

Plus, Michael's life was already like the Truman Show, so why would he want more of his private life expose. He try that before and look where that ended. Those brothers were on something if they thought Michael would join them on that reality show, since he lived in one everyday.

Re: Jackson's brothers on Larry King Thursday Dec 10!

I really like Marlon, he is so funny.

OMG - Marlon, YUM!!!!! He's got such a hot daddy thing going on, with that Magnum PI mustache of his.

Seeing the videos - my favorites Jackie & Marlon are wonderful.

I just don't want MJ 3 being exploited, or MJs resting place being exploited. I know they had cameras & all that going on - and it really felt like they were selling MJ out AGAIN, even in death.

But we'll see. I'm a bit apprehensive about it.

I haven't watched this yet, but I LOVE Jackie Jackson .
What he said on the red carpet of the TII premiere made me tear up.

Can we watch the show in the UK? I doubt it.
I don't have any bad feeling about that because it was being done before June.

Re: Jackson's brothers on Larry King Thursday Dec 10!

I gotta say, I love love love Jackie & Marlon.

As usual, Jermaine hams more than a ham sandwich.

Tito needs to stop channeling Joe so much and RELAX on the control issues.

All in all, I was satisfied to hear that the MJ3 will not be exploited.

Thanks for the interviews Mickson177 !!!!

Re: Jackson's brothers on Larry King Thursday Dec 10!

Jimmy Kimmel.... what a Deush bag.....and I can't believe I just saw PEE WEE! MJ & Frank Dileo took a picture with Pee wee in the late 80's! I use to be a fan of Pee Wee show when I was a kid! HA! HA!

Haha, I used to watch Pee Wee's Playhouse and I was already in my late 20's! It was a fun show for all ages! :D

all that said, I still miss him. I miss him being IN THIS WORLD.

Oh you can tell he's the protector - Mike Jr. will be stealth & serious, he will suffer NO KIND OF FOOLS.

Good for him.

yeah. I agree. but it's interesting that Michael used to say that Paris is the tough one, and Prince was the one who'd let people run over him a bit.

I think Prince has learned a lot, A LOT in the past few years. he's grown up in a hurry. poor baby. I'm throwing all my power of will toward these kids. may they stay strong, but may they also enjoy the childhood their father wanted them to have despite it all.

LOL!!! Paris is very outspoken & fierce and has a level of strength that is amazing for a child her age!!!! Love her!!! I can definitely see her as the spokesperson for the 3, but But as far as that quiet strength, - definitely Mikey & just like his dad.

Also - there are the dynamics of eldest child vs. younger siblings. The oldest always is told to take care of the younger ones, so I referred to Prince Mike in that regard.

also, lets say they were going to do the show anyways before his death. But there is parallelism between the timing of the show and the tour michael was suppose to give. And thank you Stacey for letting me know that the kids wont be on the show....

Congratulations for figuring out that the music business is a business. Next thing you're gonna tell me is that Michael's endorsement of Pepsi had more to it than simply his love of drinking Pepsi.

I missed the original airing but I'll catch one of the encores. I'll check out the reality show to see if it holds my interest too.

Some of your facts are wrong.

They filmed a pilot back in January about them getting together for their 40th anniversary tour. They were trying to get Michael involve, but he refuse. They filmed the first episode before his death and try to sell it to the networks. Since Michael was not in it, no one wanted to pick it up and it was scrap.

However when Michael died, general interest in the Jacksons went up and A&E picked up the reality show. They then rearrange the show to show how the brothers were dealing with Michael's passing.

So, even though the project was started before Michael's death, it was dead in the water. His death revived the project we are all seeing now.

Umm, what facts did I state which were wrong?

None. Glad that's sorted :).

I think they came across as very decent, honest people, who loved and miss their brother. I don't have a problem with their reality show and I don't think Michael would begrudge them doing it, or getting extra attention because of them.

Finally watched it...pretty confronting to see those stills and clips of Michael, hearing them talk, seeing memorial footage again etc. :boohoo:
Good that Larry really asked specific questions and that they really went on about the investigation and what might be the outcome.

I thought it was so funny how it went like 'Jermaine loves the spotlight though', and Jermaine 'No no no!' and about the touring or something Jermaine goes very unsecure 'Right guys...?' *Silence*...LMAO!

That was a highlight for me too LOL.

I just saw the Jacksons on ET and they said that the MJ 3 were definatley not being shown in the reality show (because they said Michael would not have wanted it). They also mentioned that they would acknowledge Michaels death in the series (as in they talk to the camera about how they are feeling his loss)...but there will be no footage from the funeral, his resting place or the grieving of the children or any other family members.

two things:

1) boy, it must pain the bros to know that it's still Michael who's responsible (his death) for this show being picked up. jealousy or no jealousy (are you listening, Jermego?), that's gotta sting a bit.

2) I think I'm gonna tune in just to see Marlon take the mick outta Jerm.
