just a thought....I wonder if they are gonna have the kids perform in this tribute concert....I dont put ANYTHING past them..

I am going to go out on a limb and say the Jackson's minus Randy and Jermaine will be an act

Hahaha, thanks for those gifs, Ivy!

As for the kids' participation, I think it's obvious they will be brought there if the concert happens.

 thanks for the gifs Ivy. I have the feeling they'll come in handy.

Re-the kids, even if they don't perform, no doubt they'll be there on stage, to make a little speech about their dad. I guess that will be the one and only genuine touch of the concert. :(

Will they be told to Thank Global Live for this wonderful event for their daddy and for the 100 000$ check?

I think actually found the most fitting gif ever

Ivy's on fire tonight! LOL

I'm pretty sure they would thank GL. As for the check, I'm also pretty sure they don't know about it. And maybe they never will.

:wtf:

God, this tribute will be a disaster :sigh: :fear: ...

I do not know if I cry, I give it laughter or just scream.

I wish much luck to all the artists who will participate in this tribute... I hope they do not repent and know what they're getting into. :fear: *big sigh*

I get what Michael Breaden is saying but, at the same time dude works on the George Lopez show. LMAO Lopez continues to make stupid jokes about MJ. But, he can ignore that I guess?

Do you think big artists of today would like to participate in a tribute to Michael but don't want to work with his family? Some obviously have committed dates and can't come. I hate to say this but the whole thing feels cheap to me. I don't know how else to describe it. This is Michael Jackson we are talking about.

I dont think they will get big artists. They already have Craig David confirmed and he iasnt had a hit out in many years. So I think all they will get are small pop acts probably people from Xfactor and those sorts of artists.

I definitely think the family's involvement affects artists decision to participate. And your right, this whole thing is cheap..It's been handled in such an unorganized fashion, the estate doesn't support it, the timing is horrible ect..Also looking at the poll as a small sample size of fans opinion, over 90% of fans don't support this tribute. What kind of people would organize a tribute when 90% of fans don't support it?

They are trying to force it when it shouldn't happening at all. And I agree, Michael deserves so MUCH more than what they are trying to do.

I know this will sound paranoid but the way people treated Michael in the past. We have seen a lot of the "big stars" of today say how much they love and were inspired by Michael. It's hard to know who really means it. Michael isn't here but his name and his accomplishments should be respected. When these things happen it makes embarassing for Michael.

I hope they don't parade the kids at this especially poor Blanket.

OT but I wonder if the kids will be allowed to see the Cirque show? I have heard both Latoya and Joseph put it down. Latoya was like the estate is doing the cirque du soleil "Whatever that is" Ah yes because your show is sooooo much better. lol

I wonder what people say in the business about his family

Many say the same thing we say here on a regular basis.

People within the industry knew about MJ & his difficult family situation.

I was told after the Michael fiasco...that many wouldn't work with the Jacksons. That was last november. We will see how true that was.

Taryll Jackson might not be the only casualty. ***Tomorrow can't come soon enough***

The trick I guess is to check who are these artists' agent...If they have any connection to Sony, AEG, Universal..you can strike their names.

Wouldn't be surprised if Will I Am performs. He's been such a jackass lately...it would be very fitting.

Best guess:

Tito: yay
Janet: Nay (I cannot imagine her wanting to be part of this mess with her own music career on life support)
3T: Yay
Smokey Robinson: Yay
Diana Ross: Nay (The jacksons have been jealous of her relationship with MJ for years)
Kanye West: Nay
Jay-z: Nay
Black eye peas: Yay
Usher & Bieber: Nay (they are both closely linked to AEG)

I can only imagine what they say privately. Many don't say anything publically about the family. As for the cirque shows Jackie supports it and I remember Katherine liked the idea when it was announced. I hope his kids get to see it. I don't even know if the kids have seen This is It.

Jermaine said they were getting ready to see it in this interview at about 9:20
