dont know if this has been posted yet but this is from the tribute page...

The organisers of the Michael Forever Tribute Concert are very mindful of the expectations of the fans, who have waited over two years for an event that will do justice to Michael’s musical legacy. Some of the greatest names in music are already signed, and more are trying to shuffle other commitments to come on board.
Chairman of Global Live Events Chris Hunt said “We will be announcing an incredible line-up very soon. The registration period was put on hold because we want people to know who they are registering to see. Between now and October we will be continuing to add names to the line-up so more announcements will follow. Fans of Michael’s music will get the concert they’ve been waiting for.”

I am wondering how involved the Jacksons are with the planning of this event.

It seems as though GL is in the driver's seat and the Jacksons just get paid at the end of the day. Am I wrong in that assumption?

No, I don´t think you´re wrong

If I remember correctly, Craig David has never said anything negative about Michael but how is he an international star? He is only known in the UK and hasn't had a #1 single or album here since 2000.

Sorry I mistook him for the other British singer Robbin Williams, but wait Craig David is still singing?

We continue to listen to the fans and address your issues. I am delighted to tell you that there will be NO REQUIREMENT to make a charitable donation. You still can of course, and the Princes Trust and Aids Project LA really hope you do, but any donation (or none) will have no impact on your chances in the ticket ballot

So now we have a very expensive tribute concert with just one artist!

I like Craig David, he has a good voice, but it looks like he's lacking a few brain cells!!!

But at least Jermaine has learnt his lesson from his own failed/cancelled concert.....

CORRECTION : we will START listening to the fans who are PAYING.

I dont care, I'll be waiting for a waste of human DNA to be put behind bars.

Aw man and I really like Craig David too. Very underrated imo but like others have said it's been a long while since he was considered an international star. Why did he get involved?
Why does this whole thing have to be such a mess?

Even if I would want to enjoy this and look forward to it , I can't because of all the things that have happened and been done up untill this point. The tickets, the trial and especially that trust fund thing (That was just so dumb and pointless to me and even a bit offensive considering what is going on in the world at the moment)
I just don't understand.
When I think of a tribute on this scale I think of the Freddie Mercury concert. Now with that concert you could tell their heart was in the right place and there were no problems getting it set up and letting fans celebrate him.
Why does it always have to be so complicated when it comes to Michael? Even from his own family?
Also to me it no longer feels like this kind of tribute is from the heart anymore. It seems like everybody just feels there needs to be a tribute concert instead of doing it out of love. First Jermaine, now the rest and all this time the Estate isn't behind it yet. And the thing is to me a tribute on this scale will only serve as a reminder just how great Michael is because others can't come close.

I can't travel all the way up there for this. I was going to do it for Michael and go to London but I'm not going to spend money on something that seems badly organised with family members that have been acting the way they have.
Especially during the trial. With all the stuff that is happening around this tribute it almost seems impossible to be there and enjoy it.

So... now that they decided that people don't HAVE to give to the charities in order to get a ticket, this is no more a charity concert, because STILL no money from the ticket is going to the charities (except for the Jacksons pockets charity)...

So easy the see where their priority is... instead on cutting on THEIR own profit.. they cut the charity part...
They really didn't get anything did they?...

Ok JACKSONS Please read!

There is VERY SIMPLE reason why we won't go to a tribute you will organise.

We don't want to give YOU money, we want to go there to remember and celebrate Michael Jackson (and no one else btw)

It is not only the bad timing.
It is not only the shitty ticketing system (even if you change it)
It is not only the way you try to disgustingly dupe believers
It is not only the fact that we don't know who's gonna perform
It is not only you total lack of professionalism towards this whole event
It is not only the fact that you treat MJ fans like a bunch of crazy blind people who's get anything Michael related (including his family)
It is not only the fact that the Facebook page admin has been nothing but a rude liar deleting and banning fans from the page
It is not only the fact that you AGAIN use MJ's kids to get a 'cute' side in this by getting money for them (money they absolutely don't need since MICHAEL already did everything necessary for them (if you don't spend all their money of course)
It is not only about all that

IT IS ABOUT THE FACT THAT YOU WANT TO DO IT FOR M.O.N.E.Y.

AND WE WANT IT TO BE DONE FOR L.O.V.E.

As long as you'll not understand what Michael was about and how, we, HIS fans (not yours) are intelligent and know what we want, you'll get nowhere.

Please, surrender and get a job already.

Jesus Christmas!

From what I've seen, most of the people who liked the tribute page are there to get information on what's happening, especially since the website is, well, stuck on "wait until whenever"; which is not necessary since, even if banned, I can still read the wall. :D A lot seem to need to express strong feelings of...resentment. But some still have some kind of hope which I don't quite get...

See, they really do take us for fools!

Ridiculous!

Craig David was hot in the late 90's, early 00's, but nothing much has been going on for him lately. Was this all they could get so far?

I almost wish the Estate would come to the rescue of this disaster. Poor Michael doesn't deserve this half assed effort.

I think the estate is wise in allowing them to hang themselves. probably best they dont get involved yet becuase then Jackson's would blame the failure on the Estate and claim they are bully's once again. Estate did best by stating they are NOT involved in this charade in any way. I would rather they wash their hands from it For now. I think thats the wisest decision.

^^Thats right, the estate need to stay far away from this. We don't want the Jacksons to think they can make these messes and the estate will be there to clean up after them. The estate needs to keep its reputation wholesome if they intend to do business in the name of Michael in the future.

We now have 1 international star, so there will be a 4 hour tribute performed by one act. Very interesting.

Ash, the cat doing her nails says it all!!!!!!!!!

Poor Craig David should run as fast as he can from this catastrophe! Don't go down with the ship.

He is a cutie from what I saw in the video.

I wonder who they told Craig will be the other stars. They probably made up some lies about how Madonna, ect. will be present and made him all excited. I hope he has been reading the fans comments to find out more about this.

Well put Qbees. I stated just that after the "tribute" announcement.
