I doubt if the family care, this is all normal practice for them. Besides it would appear that they kept their side of the bargain... they showed up to collect the $$$

True, as much as we want to give them the blame of organising this mess... they just showed up for the 100 000$ check and the use of their names... but still... that's what they wanted, get some cash then watch the train crash just like we do, except that THEIR name is attached to it...

I guess it'll be their way of working everytime now... associate with a company that comes from nowhere, get the check, and watch it fail... so during the time they have the money's interests until the lawyers come to their a$$.. but this time since it's a 'trust fund' for thekids (lol) their money is safe I gues....
 
People say on Twitter that Craig said bad things about Michael when he was alive. Is that true?

I don't remember him saying anything bad and yesterday I had a look in Google Archives and found nothing.

Yeah someone in here said he might have, but then said he mistaken him with Robbie Williams..
so if they all say ''oh yeah he said something bad'' but can't actually say what, it's probably not true, cause everything can be found, especially in here ;)

I'm pretty sure there are some strings attached to that. Won't be surprised if GL asks the Jacksons for a refund.

Not as far as I know or I wouldn't of written what I wtote earlier... being the unforgiving soul that I am!
 
Do you think if the estate planned this that big artists of today would be involved? The way this tribute is being planned no one wants to be near it. It's Michael's name that gets hurt and it's embarassing what his family has been doing the last 2 years.
 
I'm pretty sure if a tribute is ever planed by the Estate, a lot of artists will participate. And I'm quite sure this only hurts the Js name, not Michael's. They just look like greedy vultures. But it doesn't affect the respect other artists have for Michael. I am not worried.

When I said that I feel sorry for them, I meant in a pathetic, pity kind of way. That is no way near the same as feeling sorry for hunger in Africa. Especially since pity won't help them with their current problems, so I don't pity those who can't help themselves.

Michael did pity them since he did support them directly or indirectly. If he didn't, he wouldn't have never paid for the family home, his family's college funds, tolerated Toya, ect. Heck, if he didn't pity them, he could had easily put his brother Randy in jail over stealing his money or not trying to warn Jermaine why 'Word to the Badd' was a terrible idea for his career. Not to mention keeping everything out of his father's name so it wouldn't be taking in one of the many lawsuits against him.

Michael did support them, however, he obviously felt he didn't and shouldn't have to support them even in death.

They are and they will be. Don't worry. Michael's musical legacy is quite safe. Do you think it's a coincidence the Vienna show never happened? The only career they've had since Michael passed has been using his name in any way they could? No professional in this business wants to associate with them. I think it was already the case before, they have just made things worse behaving the way they have these last 2 years. Well, they made their beds, now...
 
Craig David is a really nice guy and I'm almost certain he never said anything bad about MJ, in fact I'm sure he's a fan that's said nothing but nice things about him. Hate for him is unwarranted.

I think you're right. He just doesn't know what he got himself into, and unfortunately it could not turn out well when he realises it. (if concert cancelled, or if they pau him less saying ''oh you know there weren't many people'' ...)

Let's hope he won't suffer too much of the experience though

I honestly think that the people putting the "tribute" together have no idea what a tribute is suppose to be about.

I totally agree. I think he genuinely wanted to pay tribute to Michael, and he had no idea what it really was. I don't know if he actually withdrew from the whole thing, but I sure hope so. He doesn't deserve to be associated with this.
 
I had to YouTube "Craig David" just to learn who he is/was/whatever, LOL! If this is the best they've got for a tribute to MICHAEL JACKSON, then this truly is a joke.

Strange after Kathy went on TV and talked about being school mates with Michael and her love for him, Latoya REMEMBERS that Kathy is her dear friend too. What is this competition all about. Michael cannot even have some friends of his own. further, La Tonta is way older than Michael and would not be in the same class in school with Michael.

Maybe Michael and LatoYa spent their time together in school, so Kathy knew both...
 
^^I am sure Kathy knows them both but Latoya is making it seem as though Kathy was her age mate. She needs to stop trying to take Michael's place, which of course she can't.
