I was really suprised by the British press' reaction to it. Every news outlet said what a wonderful and touching job the kids did, even the dreaded tabloids.
errrrr yes i would! what is a crappy award compared to those children's lives? i know the children have been on soo many news shows since last night and it really pisses me off. they are not 'celebs'. and this is only happening cuz they were on the grammys.
it would be a lot better if i knew for sure that it was their idea but.....
and i'm not being funny or anything, but it would be really good to not see the kids on tv, in magazines or anything because at least then i know they are not being stalked by paps.
children need stability and normality, especially when something traumatic happens in their lives so i hope they don't make any more apprearances.
exactlyI'm not gonna be watcing The grammys either...and just to spite them, I'll be watching each of Michael concerts for EVERY Award show there are gonna be... That will show them...lol...
But Many of you have said it...With out Michael...its tasteless...boring :bored: Not gonna be watching it...may be if i missed something "good", I might watch it on YT... thats pretty fair...dont u think?

Well I hope the Grammy folks enjoyed it, because they won't ever see those numbers again. LOL!
Glad to see them giving him the credit for the ratings boost.

Of course! Not surprised by this at all. Michael WAS the music industry. Without him, there is nothing left. I too will never watch the grammy's again! What is the point?!
I understand what your saying and to some extent I agree with you but I also think their normality will always be different than what you might be talking about.
They are MJ's kids. People will forever have an interest in them. That is their nomality as a celeb kid in this day in age then add to the fact that they are MJ's kids compounds that interest.
Of course their appearance was going to make news I didn't expect anything less. It was honestly the best moment of the show.
I think katherine has been very shrewd about what the kids have attended and what they haven't. They haven't been in the public eye since the funeral.
I don't count the paps pics because they have no control over that and plus I think someone is tipping off the paps but that a different topic.
They seem strong, healthy, smart and poised and well more mature than their years.
but I agree I hope this is the last thing they do for awhile
give it a rest already, they are NOT being ''paraded'' around. They went to an award show for the first time, to receive the award on their fathers behalf. You make it sound like all Katherine and the JAcksons, do is parading/pimping these children around. Which is NOT the case. They wanted to honor their dad, it's not like they are doing this every month. :smilerolleyes:i mean normal for them, when mj was here they weren't paraded around in 'cute' matching outfits or up on stage in front of millions. that's what i mean by normal and stability.. they should just be doing the things they did when michael was here so they can feel 'normal'. but ok, i wont go on about it anymore, just airing my views. i hope they are happy and that is all...
Grammy idiots seem to have forgotten long ago the power of the king. Idiots, if they honored Michael they way he deserved they would have enjoyed attention for years. Every time he puts out an album, he shatters everybody. He is simply the most accomplished ever. Yet, he won 18 Grammys and Beyonce won 16!!!!! Nothing against B, but Michael is in an entirely different realm of talent. They always feared MJ would dominate the world, and despite their attempts, he did. Taylor Swift who is absolute rubbish wins Grammys for god's sake. By these standards, MJ should have won a hundred Grammys.
Now i think that compared to these winners he should have NOT won any awards  i beyonce should have won 1 or 2 the most but now she has 16???? :bugeyed wtf??? bah let her win 1000 awrds, they are laughable... she stole everything Michael did, yet noone noticed it, oh well they pretended not to see it, the drill, her army, sorry Michael-s army last night... cant she at least say, "YES I DID THAT CAUSE I SAW THIS IS IT AND I HAVE NO IDEAS" or in other way...
So very true. :clapping: No doubts about it.Well I hope the Grammy folks enjoyed it, because they won't ever see those numbers again. LOL!
yeah totally when she entered, she had an army, they were all dressed as if it was the Drill, then of course she started her song and the other one... but I mean she always did everything Michael did, only that she did it in a femenine way and she does not gives him any credits..., yeah, not even now...What?? She copied the drill? I didn't watch so I don't know.
yeah, me too what a happy day it was when Prince was born. Michael's first-born. We had a huge celebration in Moscow. It was as if we all had a son that day And now look at him, all grown up.
I read the article because someone here (don't remember who it was, sorry, there are just too many pages) copied it before it was deleted. It is a shocking article, unbelievable. And this is a paper with a good reputation. Well, I hope Nora chokes on her own spit for that! She got only bad comments for her article. Even tabloids like "Bild" (equivalent to the "Sun") had nice words for Prince and Paris.Yep, guess they couldn't handle to be criticized  Stupid ...!
Me too:yes::no:^ I know right! I won't be watching the Grammy again. Last night was the last time.
when mj was here they weren't paraded around in 'cute' matching outfits or up on stage in front of millions.
tribute was good. I especially love smokey's singing there.. but Michael's topped it all. I dont think other performers could replace him. I miss him so much and I miss him going to stage to take his own awards especially the grammy 1984 and 1993???? I want to rewind the time so badlY !!!!
He did an amazing job,
Usually Jermaine Jackson ccepts Michael's, and quiete frankly he seems to have a memory problem since he barely remembers who the awards are for. When Jermaine hits a stage everything is about himself, his wife, his children and his God.
