You are so right Pua. Just the simple fact that the last trial is OVER, and he is feeling good inside is what makes him so happy. It just makes ME happy seeing him happy....
 
I agree there could be any number of things causing MJ's apparent sense of well-being and we could guess for days. I feel that part of it has to do with having a "new lease on life" PERIOD due to a lot of dross cleared from his life as a result of the "fire" he went through in recent years and making a fresh start always gives one a boost, and it of course could also include receiving some real love as well. I agree with AllforMJ that something special was on his mind during his darkest hour because his spirits were soring higher than the circumstances around him warrented.

Although I agree with you both queen and Pua about the sense of joy inherent in creating, this creative process is hardly new to MJ as he has been creating albums a long time, so that alone does not speak to him seeming different than usual to fans imho.

I also feel to acknowledge the point brought up by (i think it was) Babe who mentioned that during his first marraige he seemed happy at that time as now. It seemed to be during the "honeymoon" stage that he was the happiest, and which didn't endure much if at all, beyond that stage, and which would seem to me to mean that it is because it was never meant to be (forever) so I guess the song (YANA) being about someone else (although his wife was with him in the video), aligns with it being a "meantime" marraige which served its function for the time and season but apparently someone else was in his heart - - and hers too - look at ALL the end results at hand, so anyway, in the end, its all good, because afterall, that's what the meantime is for.

On another note, I feel that the adults that MJ was referring to in his message, "..I live for you, and the children" .........were his fans.

Here are two songs to give us a before and after. The first one is "Whatever Happens." The second one is "For All Time."

While listening to him in "Whatever Happens" which is from the "Invincible" era, you are going to hear the sound of agitation. You're going to hear the sound of pleading combined with frustration. The tone of his voice and the words of this love song are over music that's practically saying there's going to be a showdown at high noon and he doesn't want to be alone during that time. This music is saying there is a conflict.

Then, when you listen to "For All Time," which was finalized and released almost seven years after "Whatever Happens," you're going to notice the sound of serenity all throughout the song. We hear it in the words of the new bridge and in the way he's singing it.

The first song mentions "word" and "happy." The second song mentions "words" and "happy." And although both songs mention the possibility of unfortunate events, one has the sound of despair while the other one doesn't.

"For All Time" shows he's been comforted.

Isn't it interesting that the video the fan created for "Whatever Happens" starts off with MJ being in the dark and ends with him going back into the dark with both hands out? Isn't it interesting the fan that placed the recording of "For All Time" on youtube chose a picture of a person standing outside at the start of a new day and left it at that only?

Which song is it that came out in 2004 that tells us someone came to MJ in the dark and took his hand? It is the song "The Way You Love Me." And it falls right in place with the way that MJ's messages with the CD's changed in 2003 and started mentioning the word love.

He was comforted. Before we saw the actual word "happy" written on paper in his own penmanship, we were listening to it.

I enjoyed comparing the songs. I feel a more clear comparison would be between two "LIKE'" songs though like say, songs that are basically saying the same kinds of things with the same kinds of tone. eg., Whatever Happens automatically has a bit of "gloom" built into it and For All Time automatically contains pure optimism just from the titles alone and because of the nature of the songs' lyrics etc.

eg.,
I'd compare Whatever Happens, with Hold My Hand and For All Time with Heaven Can Wait jmho

I'm glad you brought that up though, I love these convos about the songs :dancing:

Also, there has never been a time when his fans were not looking forward to new music from him. It's been this way since his early recordings that were released in 1969. It's been ongoing since then. Nonstop And he's always been in the recording studio working on something. That's been ongoing too.

But what I have noticed about him and love is this. The only time I saw him going around looking deeply unhappy was after his divorces. Before that there was always someone that he liked. Even when he was a kid there was someone he liked. He had a crush on Diana Ross. He kept his eye on her all the way up until he became an adult, and once he became an adult, he had her on his arm.

Also, he never used to say things like what he said back in 2001 about needing a date. He was telling people that the Rabbi was going to find him the perfect woman. Then some time afterwards he wasn't even friends with the Rabbi anymore...not even speaking to him. Yet, he perked up again anyway. The Rabbi was nowhere around him during the time that his love songs were becoming lighthearted again. And just hearing him wanting to find the perfect woman shows he needs someone in his life outside of his fan base.

He's always been perky when he likes someone and there was always a female around him. As a kid liking Diana to liking Tatum to Stephanie to Brook on up to Lisa and Debbie. And there were the ones we never saw until they started popping up during the trial.

And look at this. We didn't even see him with Blankets mother, but she was obviously around because Blanket is here.

^ I do see what you're saying about how he is when he likes someone and also I agree that this creative process is something he's been up to throughout time.

I do also agree with queen_g that this new lease on life probably has to do with a renewed relationship with God because that happens when God has taken us out of the lion's den and prepared a table before us in the presence of our enemies. \

I go primarily by the music, which again, is what attracted me to this thread, and surely in BG he says, with animated elation "Can't you see that I'm in love" and the "with yous" are hidden which gives off the impression that its a message, and the messages in the music in general do seem consistent, hence the reason for this thread....but yes, I agree that God and his children are likely to be uppermost in his consciousness and his renewed sense of the future which he also has recently stated.

I think what we're saying is this may or may not be a "Lionel Ritchie" moment in Michael's life, you know that moment where Lionel says, "ah girl and you became my purpose my reason for living girl you see you're my heart you're my soul you're my - - stooooooooooooooooooooone inspiration baby" :lol:

MJ may indeed be in love and at the same time I feel that God, his children and his fans imho are his stooooone inspiration. jmho

ok I feel to explain to the yungsters why this is so classic ...

well in the 70s in school, girls (in my school) would go around singing this song as kind of a joke (everyone did the voice and everything) because it was so (what we thought of as), "over the top" for what a man could sincerely feel ..it was the "drama" of it which created the fantasy that a man would really feel that way ... and eventually we all believed he was indeed singing to his wife because their beginnings together was well publicized...so then the song had even more charm..

...until...

well we read in the papers some years later that it ended rather um......painfully

so anyway,

This thread simply could not last if MJ was not showing signs that he has feelings for someone. He's always upbeat when he has feelings for someone and his love songs always reflect it as well. The way he delivers love songs when he's in love is much different from what he was doing during the Invincible days.

And The Commodores couldn't be used to make a point either! See? It's all falling into place! :lol:

The loving feeling that he is sending out here is to be enjoyed. Feeling his joy is what we've been waiting for. Michael's always been good at putting himself into his music so we can feel him. Also, when people can't feel him, he's able to tell. That comes from him being spiritual. It's also why he'd have a line like this in his song "Invincible" which says, "So why ain't you feelin' me..."

He's good. He knows how to send it out here. That's one of his gifts. :yes:

Haven't really done a breakdown on the song "Invincible." Just sorta been bundling it with the other songs that showed he was discontent back then. The great thing is, that's not the case now. He's all bubbly now. :D

No, I don't think you are being "too" analytical. It's ok to examine and explore all possiblities but in the case of the very sweet and romantic song, ''For all time" and the newly added and remastered bridge that says in part ''Two Souls Embrace", he is singing about a holy union with someone of whom he is desperately in love with that barriers and walls ("maybe the walls will crumble"), seem to be inbetween( during maybe the '"original" version) but currently has changed, hence the newly added bridge with it's significant meaning to this thread.
"For all time" is about an adult love and Michael's promise to love this person forever.
What Hint did he recently give us to further confirm the '"possibility" of this theory?
11/10/08, He wrote in his own handwrting in part: " You are my True inspiration, forever".
My take on it? Could be a double meaning but SHE is the source more than anyone elese.

About the song, "Invincible".

What is Michael's very line?,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,He sings, "If I could tear down these walls that keep you and I apart". As ALLforMJ said, he was discontent during this time, he shows this throught his "sound". Listen very carefully to his tone and rythm of the music. His mood is played throughout the melody.

He is telling us yet again about the barriers between them( I'll have to relisten to this song for further interpretation).

And by placing the song, ''for all time" on T25, a song initially about "'walls" and loving someone desperately for an eternity, he hints at the fact that these walls he's been singing about for ions of time are/have slowly been knocked down.
 
You're right, he has been singing about walls for a very long time. Fly songbird, FLY! Get the trumpets out and make those walls come tumbling down like they did at Jericho!

For All Time speaks VOLUMES. For one, why, of all his unreleased songs, would he choose THAT one to place on T25? Why would he give so much attention to it, even as much as re-writing the lyrics on a bridge, if it didn't mean something to him right now?

I, for one, sometimes go back through my old songs and poems, and see what applies to my life right now. And if I find some, I pay special attention to them, and sometimes re-work the lyrics to fit what is going on in my life. It's as though, "you know, I wrote something about this years ago...where is it? Oh here it is. This may have been meant for that situation then, but it sure fits with and is even better suited to what I'm going through now...let me just tweak it a little...PERFECT!"
