Actually, she may very well have a heart for Asian people. It is easy to do. I would love to visit many of the Asian countries. I have just reread one of my most favorite books ever. It is called "Chasing the Dragon" and it is by Jackie Pullinger. When she was only 22 years old she left London and booked a ship that was stopping at several countries, and she asked God to let her know which country she should get off at. He told her China. And, without knowing a single word of the language used there, so she began the most amazing ministry within the darkness of the infamous Walled City, helping the drug addicts, prostitutes, gang members, and the poor. I love her story so much. And she loved the Chinese people there so much. Beautiful.

I remember when I first saw the video, too, which would have been about three years ago, and the first time I heard the song You Are Not Alone as well. I went specifically to YouTube to try and listen to the song for it had been mentioned in some thread no doubt and I thought I'd check the song out.

Michael was so busy the whole time trying to help LMP relax by teasing her with little comments in her ear, how sexy of an atmosphere does that create? (but I'm not sure MJ's objective was to have those scenes be steaming as much as he wanted them to resemble ART).

Most likely at the spot with LMP's "look," the photographer simply directed her to look at the camara, and that's what she did. Quite sure she wasn't having any other chick in her mind at that moment. lol.

Sadly the video turned me off of the song for a long time, and YANA really is a nice song. Shows how a video can really affect one's view on a song, consciously or unconsciously.

Oh, so the video going in that direction bothered you, huh? Well, Yeah, I can see if you were expecting a certain concept and then it switches like that on ya, I can see how you could be disappointed. I didn't mind it so much. Actually, I rather liked it. I thought the "switch" was intentional, in order to communicate a particular "idea." It seems like he wanted to show some kind of "parallel" going on or something. Sorta like saying, my present is one way (lonely entertainer), but you and I (MJ and the subject he is singing to or about) have our own "history." It's like he was saying, "Our love was made in heaven," or something like that.

Most likely at the spot with LMP's "look," the photographer simply directed her to look at the camara, and that's what she did.

Yeah, that's what I figured in the end as well. I figured he probably said something like, "Now Lisa, give the camera a "saucy" little look." Or something to that effect. I do think it did come across a little "scary" at first for some reason, lol!

How old was I when YANA came out? Well, did it come out in '95? I don't remember the exact year, but I think it was around that time. If it was in '95, then I was around 25 or 26? LMP and I are actually pretty close in age. I think LMP is only like a little over a year and a half older than I am.

Yes, I have this view of YANA. The lonely in a hand, and the heaven in other hand (the heaven comes when he is with his lover?) And I always did feel that there wasn't any sexual thing in this. And the painting wich the video was inspired doesn't have anything sexual. However, the video ending have a ''sexy thing''.

In "LITD land," looking at that one snippet of the video and seeing the expression on LMP's face, it seemed kinda fun or funny at first, but I just wanted to say that in reality, there really wouldn't be anything fun or funny at all if LMP did "know" about something like that. It would be heartbreaking, and there is nothing fun or funny about a broken heart. I think sometimes I forget that this is not a "soap opera" like it sometimes appears to be. There are REAL people behind this story, people with a heart and emotions, and that was probably a very difficult time for all involved. I imagine there must have been much confusion and heartache. I actually am glad that LMP was finally able to find true love with her "new" Michael and her little twin daughters, and I wish them much happiness and success. Personally, I do not think Michael was saying this to all the girls. You know, every girl is different and every girl causes a disparate impact and the love comes and manifests itself in ways/different intensities. So it can not be equal to them all. For me, this is impossible. Each love story with a different person, will always be different.

Do you think, possibly, she could have been more of an "apparition," so-to-speak, or something of that nature. In that case, probably no one in the rest of the world would have seen her or known about her except MJ (if she only "appeared" to him).

When did these types of things start happening to him (if they indeed did). Do we know the true history of Neverland? Maybe the house or the land it was on had something to do with it?

For example, take what he wrote in the lyrics to P.Y.T. 2008:

What exactly came upstairs that night (or day)? How long had this been going on? What happened just prior to this event happening?

Speaking of ghosts, anyone here ever heard of a "living ghost"? I just heard someone mention this once in my life, but supposedly, a living ghost is the spirit of a person who is ... alive! Could this be what MJ was seeing?

~ To give an example of perhaps what this concept is referring, the trailer of the film Ape was so blessed to be apart of recently has something like this going on in it. The main character is a teacher, which in itself is an admirable profession, however, this man seems to have a nagging feeling his life is to mean much more. To add to this he "sees"... a what? A vision? An apparition? of a young girl who seems to be calling out to him to come to her country and help her people.

I know a person in my own life who has shared something similar with me. She had a vision like this where an Native American appeared, standing in the same room she was sitting in and praying in. She asked him, "Who are you?" He was dressed like an Indian chief and he told her to help 'his people" and he told her his tribe. Then he was gone. She inquired of the Lord and He said (meaning she was given an impression), "I want you to intercede for these people." Within days she was somewhere and started a conversatiion with a man who was very americanized, dressed like we all do, but he told her he was from Native American descent. She asked him which tribe, and it was the same as the man in her vision. This young man explained to her the great need of his people at their reservation, they were in trouble, and asked her if she could get them help. And so it began, and God had shown her "ahead of time."

Was God's messenger to her a ghost? No. The Lord is very creative in the way He chooses to speak to His Children. And He distributes His gifts as He pleases, and this ability to see "in the spirit" in such a way, is but one of them.

So are you thinking, MP, that maybe Michael had this particular gifting from God?

~ To give an example of perhaps what this concept is referring, the trailer of the film Ape was so blessed to be apart of recently has something like this going on in it. The main character is a teacher, which in itself is an admirable profession, however, this man seems to have a nagging feeling his life is to mean much more. To add to this he "sees"... a what? A vision? An apparition? of a young girl who seems to be calling out to him to come to her country and help her people.

I know a person in my own life who has shared something similar with me. She had a vision like this where an Native American appeared, standing in the same room she was sitting in and praying in. She asked him, "Who are you?" He was dressed like an Indian chief and he told her to help 'his people" and he told her his tribe. Then he was gone. She inquired of the Lord and He said (meaning she was given an impression), "I want you to intercede for these people." Within days she was somewhere and started a conversatiion with a man who was very americanized, dressed like we all do, but he told her he was from Native American descent. She asked him which tribe, and it was the same as the man in her vision. This young man explained to her the great need of his people at their reservation, they were in trouble, and asked her if she could get them help. And so it began, and God had shown her "ahead of time."

Was God's messenger to her a ghost? No. The Lord is very creative in the way He chooses to speak to His Children. And He distributes His gifts as He pleases, and this ability to see "in the spirit" in such a way, is but one of them.

So are you thinking, MP, that maybe Michael had this particular gifting from God?

These are amazing examples there, queen g. You're talking about the Discernment of Spirits, right? I thought that was limited to supernatural spirits, but from your examples it seems as though it could also pertain to human spirits as well?

That's interesting. MJ could have very well been given this gift and perhaps he was seeing his LITD in spirit.

I remember seeing this program where this young married couple had lived in an apartment, and they felt they had outgrown it, and decided to look for a house to live in. They began looking for homes every weekend.

Well, in the meantime, the young woman had begun having dreams of one particular house. The house was large and magnificent, so beautifully decorated by the owner. Looked like a picture right out of a magazine. She had this dream night after night. Well, the weekend rolled around again and they were off to look at more houses.

Well, on the way to look at one house, the woman screamed to her husband to stop the car. Then she pointed to the house he had stopped by and said that that was the house she kept seeing in her dream. Then she ran out of the car and ran toward the house and even opened the front door. Her husband told her she can't just go into people's homes like that, but she went in anyway, and to her surprise, the inside of the house also looked exactly like it did in her dream. It was beautiful.

Just then, a very nicely dressed woman came out of one of the rooms and said, "You must be here for the open house." The young woman and her husband looked at the whole house with the realtor and put an offer in.

When the realtor momentarily left the room, the husband told his wife not to get her hopes up because the offer was too low for such an extravagant house. Just then, the realtor came out to tell them that their offer had been accepted by the owner. The husband then asked what the catch was and the realtor said, "No, no, there's nothing wrong with the house it's just that the owner said that it's haunted and I should accept the first offer I get." The young wife said she didn't care what it was, they were taking it.

Well, just then an elderly woman came out of one of the rooms and entered the room the three of them were in. She happened to be the owner of the house. The elderly woman took one look at the young wife who had just made the offer and said, "It's you! You're the one who has been haunting my house!"
