So I think that's the case with TII too. And then after MJ died, they found the demo...and maybe added the orchestra or something to it, or maybe the music already was there....could be. I mean, remember how different the Dangerous demo sounds, and the lyrics are a bit different too from the album version. And the lyrics to In The Closet are different on the demo. So I think that's why it 's hard to understand all of the song completely...because it most likely wasn't finished lyrics wise? :scratch:

Yes, demo versions sound different. It is true. But the situation with this song gets even more mysterious because it is demo. Imagine him sitting in the room playing piano, singing the words come to his mind from nowhere or from divine source, let say. It happens with artists very often.
I have read that orchestra was included later when Sony decided to release this song. The original tape was just his voice and piano. I even posted a link on this thread somewhere.

PS. Nice picture LOL Mike looks very hot there.:)

I think it is not enough at all. But I think she doesn’t need to "indentify" herself, it has to be clear as a day for her what he says. And it is not only regarding just this song imo. It would be too simple. There are some other things could be a part of "identification". We do not know... . To know that we have to know her life, her way of thinking etc. but we never will know... .

That's a good point. And I think it was Asedora that mentioned that the lyrics were not included with the CD. If we are having this much trouble figuring out what he says in this song, I guess the folks at Sony who would be responsible for printing up the lyrics (with somewhat accuracy) would also. Looks like they didn't even attempt it. lol.


"this" makes a bit more sense then "it." I like that, good job.


AllForMJ noted to us that in the song, This Is It, MJ has the girl saying a lot. She said this, she said that.

Here is basically what "she" had to say:

1. she said she really knows him, too

2. she said she's gonna live/leave it for herself

3. she said (at some point) she didn't want him hanging round

4. she said she was some of it/this herself

5. she said she wanted to go with him all the while

Do you think this would be enough for her to help identify herself as his love interest (if she still doesn't fully realize it's her)?


Here is what he is saying in the song:

1. He's got a love in his heart he can feel and he knows it is real

2. He knows she's got addicted with her eye (if you hear this, it's still up for debate).

3. over the years, after she was "gone" he never heard a single word about her

4. Falling in love (with her?) was in his plan

5. He never thought he would be a lover let alone her lover

6. he feels like he's known her forever and he acknowleges to her that he knows she has seen his face before (in person)

7. he tells her they both can feel this is real, and it is important to him that she knows, that she knows, that she knows, their love is real and his love for her is real.

8. He wants her to understand. Understand "something." (what is that something? There's the mystery)

9. He's been healed

10. This song they can save (their song)and please let it play (he's anxious for her to listen long and closely to this song to guaranteee she get's all that he is trying to communicate to her in the song)

11. He knows now it's true she wanted to go with him afterall, all the while, even though he never knew that all this time
(learning this might have been one of the things that helped "heal him" from past wounding associated with her)

12. One of his favorite animals is the gazelle

13. He feels "this is it!" and she's the one for him!


I would love to hear anyone elses thoughts on any of this. Do you think all he's saying is clear? Do you think he makes it clear just what it is that is important to him for her to understand? Are we eavesdropping on their private discourse goin' on here? haha.

And gosh, I shouldn't BE here....:lol: I'm leaving tomorrow and need to PACK...but as every single time when I have to go somewhere and pack...I keep doing everything BUT packing! :lol: It's the same EVERY singel time! :lol: I HATE packing! :lol: I wish my suitcase would just fill itself up with everything I need by itself! :lol: I should have been done ages ago, but I just can't be bothered to get it done. :lol: I know I'll be running around in panic mode an hour before leaving again, throwing random items in the suitcase without any kind of plan and then forget half of the stuff I need to take with me and take tons of stuff I won't need with me and clothes that won't even match. :lol: :lol: I always take way too much stuff with me anyways (maybe BECAUSE I can't be bothered to be organized and PLAN what I take with me, but just throw WHATEVER in the suitcase at the last minute...you know just scoop the drawers and closet empty and throw everything in and then sit on the suitcase to get it closed because there's so much stuff in it. :lol: And if that's not enough stuff...I usually end up taking books and DVDs and my iPod and my camera and what not with me because I can't travel without my "entertainment section". :cheers: :lol: :lol: And if THAT's not enough, I always end up having bags full of presents somehow too. :scratch: :lol: I always decide NOT to take a lot of stuff with me (because I HATE carrying it all with me)...but I always end up having tons of bags to carry anyways. :lol: I already had two HUGE bags full of presents before I even thought of starting. :bugeyed :lol: :lol: I have no idea where I'll put all that stuff. :lol: Oh...and I just remembered I haven't even printed out my ticket yet. Ooops! :swoon: :lol: :lol: I gotta RUN! :lol: :lol: Anyone wanna come over and pack for me while I take a nap? :lol: :lol: Anyways, I don't know if I'll be able to post for the next few days...but I'll try to read and keep up. I thought it was clear to me when it first came out, now I'm not so sure. :ermm: Then again what I think doesn't matter at the end of the day. -_- lol

If it's meant for someone specific, I hope it's clear to "her" and that "she" gets it and understands since it is their love story.....

Isn't it sort of "irrelevant" though now? Since MJ is gone now? I mean, you know...sort of a "a little too late" kind of thing? :scratch:You know, don't you guys think she should have been able to identify herself by now, or MJ should have somehow made it clear to her by now...or other wise it's "too late"? :timer: I mean, not like there'll be any more clues, right? Id be devastated if i was mjs girl in the time of hes death. Could it be that maybe being the face that michael was sometimes shy and so private , that she didnt which way mike's thinking was.

But it would make a sweeter picture for us if God's plan would have been all along to one day bring them together.

I think thats what mj was looking for - to be healed from all the pain he suffered over the yrs. He needed someone strong to make him strong.

Okay, I guess what you said makes sense somehow. But still, even in your case, if she needed healing...wouldn't she have needed to know BEFORE MJ died that he had feelings for her...and hear it directly from him? Because if I think about even just OUR "clue hunting"...anything that comes out now, song or other wise...will be selected by the estate...not by MJ. So it's really anyone's guess what HIS intentions with some song or whatever was. Right? :scratch:So you know, that's why I said that in my opinion if there was someone, she would have needed to know it before MJ died in order to be "sure". Now all anyone can do is guess and wonder and will never know for sure. :scratch: At least in my opinion. :scratch:

Like I said we do not know what really happened. We just wonder...:) Everybody here was going through his lyrics especially the last song. We know that "he never heard a single word about her" . From this point we were making own assumptions. It is always a mystery with Michael, you know... .:)
If this lady exists I do not think we ever will know anyways because a normal person would never share her private life with the whole world.

Well one would hope that she'd keep it private, if there was someone. I mean, there are already enough people who are selling out their friendship and whatever other relationship or connection they had with him...so it would be disappointing if SHE did also...if there was a "she".
