Did MJ Find Love In The Dark (continued)

Thank you too Poe :) . I know I can't speak for everyone but that is what this thread is for me. It's not only fun to look at possibility, but gives hope. That there is true romance and love alive in the world. I think that is why Disney is so appealing. The love stories are a bit fantastic, but to dream of the possibility gives hope that real love (even if the situation seems outrageous and fiction) is not fiction.

With that said, I think I want to try rewriting the post I lost last night. It, again, is my interpretation of the story I see in the music. Not stating it as fact or what I think really happened. Just a possibility. Maybe the most romantic interpretation I could imagine from the music.

It's really what you make it, isn't it? For now living vicariously is about all I can handle till the real thing (meaning, True and REAL love) comes along because I don't want something false. How can anyone here claim to know what is true in MJ's life unless they are either him, or incredibly close to him to know...though even incredibly close people won't know his own story from deep down inside himself. Only he would know that. So of course it can't be exactly correct even if we were to stumble upon the "true" story of his life unless he himself wrote it out for us and was completely honest in doing that and even then, we aren't in his shoes to fully understand, because things can happen to someone, but without experiencing it ourselves, we can't understand it completely right?

If there wasn't something appealing about living vicariously through others, there would be no need for stories, or film, or maybe lyrics. No one would bother to read books or watch movies would they? I don't know.. maybe I am wrong. Sometimes we learn about ourselves through observing others as our interpretation of events often says more about us than about the one we are observing.

why pretend you do? Just a situation of lets make believe and
something to do to pass the time I guess? :)
 
Well this whole entire site is dedicated to that person (other than the random thread section) and his life is personal, even the business aspect of him is personal. If he were to read this thread, I don't think he could take any of it personally since we are only looking at what he gave to the world to hear. We aren't digging through garbage or spying on him. We are simply listening to the music and seeing/hearing possibility in it. I can't speak for everyone, just myself. So what I personally say, is not me saying I know what is happening in his life and that I KNOW the truth; I am only saying what I see COULD have been. I am looking at what is presented, and sharing the story that comes out of it for me.

As I edited into my previous post, this says more about ourselves than it would ever say about Michael. So really this is going into OUR personal lives and thoughts and imagination that we let be fueled by his music. Fan fiction perhaps? It's possibility. Until he comes here and says NOOOOO You are all WRONG!! lol.. then it's still just possibility. When he makes a statement or comes to tell us that our thread is all fiction, then this thread will be entirely fan fiction and not possibility, unless he's not telling the truth..lol. But he really doesn't have to tell us anything since his private personal life is not our business. I really don't think this thread is about trying to find out what really happened and what's going on in his life or who he loves... or maybe it is, I don't know. For ME, it is about what I've already said. Even if sometimes I forget to add in a post that it's what I see, and my opinion only. I don't know MJ in person to know what is true and I can't speak for him. But I can speak for what I see in something. I can give my opinion on what I see. That's what I do.

when I come in and tease...nothing more than that.

You are right, we can't know for certain any of this. You are also free to come in and tease us for our outrageous interpretations or far fetchededness (lol @ my word).

Maybe a disclaimer could be added to the front to say that it's not fact in here but our thoughts...but that's probably why it's in Michealmania. I do understand that you are saying, there is a difference between discussing a fictional book and discussing a real person. So I guess we are gossiping? Though it isn't based on gossip or things people have said about him who know him. It's based on the music.

Maybe I could modify my posts for you Poe :p They will now say "The person in this story I see from the music Michael sings" instead of "Michael" . Usually I use "MJ" rather than "Michael" when I talk of something I see as maybe a persona the celebrity part of him rather than the non-public part of him.

If it is fun for you to come and tease us, then come tease us ..lol. It's alright. You aren't doing any harm. I'll still be myself.

Do you think he would be embarrassed or upset that his lyrics are being looked at so seriously in relation to him?


I hope he would be flattered that his music has inspired all this. You've read some of it to see what it's inspired. If his music and performances is all an act, then he could be flattered that he is that believable and evokes this inspiration of imagination from people. If it is from his heart and does mean something to him like it seems, and comes from a personal place, then he could be flattered that he was able to express himself so well that we could all feel that in it.

Poe I act in theater so I know how much of a compliment it is when people think that I must be like my character on stage. It means I did a good job. If people want to speculate as to what I am like in person based on that character, they can, and if they are wrong, I can laugh at them being so wrong. If they see something in that character that they could see touched some part of me personally, because I could play it so well, and inferred some type of conclusion about my life based on that, and were correct, I think I would feel understood and in some way it would be healing, because it meant that it also touched another person who must have felt something similar to be able to recognize it in me.

Anyways, I LIKE when you add to the thread. I really like mens opinions EVEN if it so say "you silly girls and your dreams". So please don't feel you have to stay out of it and not respond. Sorry if I made you feel that way. I also do know that romance is something you understand, because I have read your poetry, and there must be some reason you keep coming back in here to read ;) Maybe you could add your interpretations of the songs without putting his name in it somehow. Just the story you see through the music. Doesn't matter who it's about. You have a story behind your poetry, whether is it about yourself, or about something you imagined or about someone else. If people were to interpret those, would you be offended or would you be interested to see what people got from it?

I just thought maybe you did because of your response that you weren't going to say any more on it. I thought somehow you may have been offended. Alright, I am glad all is well then. You have a better day too. Mine is going really well actually. It's a beautiful day outside and things are nice here.

hahha.. well I got busy here making salad and lunch and reading to my daughter and talking to a friend... um.. yeah I'll get to it but it's a fantasy. I wish it didn't get lost last night.

Wow that is weird. Perhaps we said something that the Great Oz did not approve of.

I'll write it eventually. Probably once my daughter goes for a nap since I am kind of here but not here. All over the place doing things. Yes cyber space is the final frontier.. somehow conjoined with the black hole.
