Controversial MJ Documentary Leaving Neverland [GENERAL DISCUSSION THREAD]

I see where you are thinking fans can debunk claims after it airs. I think that is wishful thinking. After it airs and people watch the film they will make up there minds for themselves. If the two of them are believable then the damage is done. We can’t be nieve and think we can fix peoples perception. The sad thing is it’s one sided but that why they are doing this. The impact of their stories from the normal persons point of view will be the most damaging. The truth is most will not look for the truth. If they feel in there hearts these two are credible then the damage is done and we can’t fix that or change their minds. The only way to help this I’m afraid is to try to stop it from airing thats about it. We won’t be able to accomplish that only the Estate can if they have any legal right to do so. That’s about it and we have to face it. Come on Estate it’s on you now. Another thing that might be troubling is why the Estate won’t do anything? Do they think ultimately that he is guilty? Are there hands tied with this? Are there agreements that have been signed by MJ and his lawyers in the past? These are the questions we need answered.

One last thing and I will stop. I can think of 700million reasons why they may not do anything and that is the scary part. Are the willing to sacrifice MJ for that? They already sold the f$$cking catalogue.

*****: $20 Mil Kid Gets Order Against Dad

A strange turn of events among the peripheral people in Michael Jackson’s odd world has taken place.

According to court papers obtained by this column, the young man who, in 1994, settled with Michael Jackson for $20 million was allegedly physically assaulted last year by his own father.

Jordan Chandler, now 26, filed a request for a restraining order against his father on August 5, 2005. The reason for the order was that Evan Chandler, formerly a dentist and an aspiring screenwriter, had allegedly hit Jordan over the head from behind with a twelve and a half pound weight. He’d also allegedly sprayed him in the face with mace and tried to choke him.

The two men, according to court papers, were living together in a luxury apartment in New Jersey.

The bizarre case was remanded to trial by a pair of appellate judges on June 8th of this year. This followed a reversal of the restraining order by another judge who felt that Evan Chandler’s actions did not represent a pattern of abuse and didn’t qualify as domestic abuse. The appellate judges disagreed, reinstated the restraining order, and sent the case to trial.

These last judges sounded a little surprised in their ruling that the restraining order had been lifted in the first place. “The judge also found that the weight could cause serious bodily injury or death,” they wrote, indicating that they felt Evan Chandler meant to harm his son.

This means that soon enough Evan and Jordan Chandler will be in a public dispute in a New Jersey courtroom. For Jackson watchers, this is nothing short of shocking: the Chandlers have done everything possible to remain out of the public eye since settling with Jackson in 1994 for a little over $20 million.

In what has now been a much-reported story, Jordy Chandler, then 12 years old, alleged that Jackson molested him on numerous occasions between 1991 and 1994. His uncle, Ray Chandler, published a book about the case in 2005, as did Jackson’s longtime PR man, Bob Jones. Both books detailed Jackson’s inappropriate relationship with the boy; Ray Chandler’s book also recounted the negotiations with Jackson’s attorney, Bert Fields, and his investigator, Anthony Pellicano, by which his brother and nephew got the $20 million.

At the time of this episode, Evan Chandler was divorced from Jordy’s mother, June, who had custody of their son and conceded that she’d let Jackson sleep in the boy’s room in her house for months without supervision. Jackson was then about 35 years old. Subsequently, June Chandler was cut off from her son and as of last year had not seen or spoken to him in a dozen years. She testified to all of this in Jackson’s 2005 child molestation trial.

A falling out between Jordy and Evan Chandler of this serious a nature immediately reveals a couple of things: that at the age of 25 Jordy was still living with his father, and that they had settled into a luxury apartment in New Jersey with panoramic views of Manhattan.

Prior to this they had owned a beach house in Westhampton, New York, and had had an apartment in New York. Public records show, however, that Jordy sold the beach house for $2.9 million in 2003. He bought a condo for $775,000 in West Harlem in June 2005 one week after Jackson was acquitted of child molestation and about six weeks before he accused his father of attacking him. At the time he purchased the coop, Jordy gave a PO Box in Jersey City as his address. It’s only conjecture, but it’s likely that Evan Chandler—whom his brother Raymond had said in interviews was seriously ill in 2005—didn’t want his son to leave him.

News of the Chandlers’ domestic dispute comes as Jackson remains on the down-low somewhere in Europe, either in London or Dublin, as his lawyers try to work out what will become of his languishing career. Having beaten the child molestation charge, Jackson turned himself into a self-exiled celebrity. His Neverland Ranch was shuttered after California officials fined him for not paying his employees for four months and letting their insurance lapse. A $25 million lien was placed against Neverland in June in order to pay off one of Jackson’s attorneys. And a group of investors in Rancho Palos Verdes, California is currently holding a $2.2 mortgage on Jackson’s parent’s home in Encino, California.

More to come…

One last post on this but reading this again it makes me think of how biased the media really is and no criminal investigation against Evan Chandler then he said he could have killed him. He had a hard time getting a restraining order.

Since Jimmy and Wade wouldn't have a case or a documentary without the Chandler's, who started all the shannagins.

Uncle Ray talked to Maureen Orth when Michael was arrested by Tom Sneddon for the Gavin case. Here's what Uncle Ray had to say:

In the end the Chandlers demanded witness protection before they would testify, and it could not be worked out. “Had the D.A. acted quicker, before they got so scared, they would have had them without witness protection,” Ray Chandler tells me. A source close to the prosecution disagrees: “I think we got played by Feldman and the Chandlers. Jordie was always on the fence.”

“Despite the fact he’s got a lot of money,” Ray Chandler says, “he’ll always be ‘the Michael Jackson kid.’ It’s a heavy weight to tote around.” He says Jordie has had to start his life over at least three times. “Whenever he starts with a new social group, someone figures it out, and he can’t stay in the group, because people continue to talk about it: How much money did you get? Did he do it?” Even in Germany, he was accosted by a stranger on the street, yelling, “You’re Jordie Chandler!” Once, he received an e-mail through a brand-new account: “We know who you are.”

“It’s been psychologically devastating for him,” Ray Chandler says. “In the last half of ‘93, he felt himself to be the most vilified man in the world.” He adds, “Michael did break up this family. Michael doesn’t seem to get close to children from solid, two-parent homes.”

According to Ray Chandler, “If Jordie were to testify today, he’d be a real hero for life. He should come out, because this boy is sick, he’s brave, and he needs help. If Michael’s acquitted, people will look back at ‘93 and say that was a hoax, too. Then Jordie and Evan will be in a much worse position than now.”

“If Jordie thinks it’s going to end with this one, he has to see nothing ends with this one,” Ray Chandler says. “Jordie’s testimony would be the nail in Michael Jackson’s coffin.”

I suppose Jimmy and Wade convinced Dan Reed not to share the limelight. Uncle Ray enjoys the limelight, as one can see in his interview with Maureen. Notoriety must be a high for those who can't get attention any other way. Uncle Ray wants us to sympathize with his brother, Evan and Uncle Ray's nephew. I just don't believe a word Uncle Ray has to say. And that is all there is...words. "So, too, the tongue is a little member and yet makes great brags. Look! How little a fire it takes to set so great a woodland on fire. Well, the tongue is a fire. James 3: 5, 6. Maureen and Uncle Ray were trying to do that with this article in Vanity magazine.

Just because you read it in a magazine
Or see it on the TV screen
Don't make it factual
Though everybody wants to read all about it
Just because you read it in a magazine
Or see it on the TV screen
Don't make it factual, actual
They say he's homosexual

Like I always said "dirty money does will not be prosperity to one who lies and deceive for it". Until Jordan confess with his mouth that he lied which he clearly did, Jordan will not get no rest. People better remember that there is a God (I can careless if someone does not believe it or not, it wont change that God exist) and we have to face him for what we do. Yes Jordan was a kid when his father put this lie together but Jordan is a GROWN MAN now and it now falls on him. Look how this keep coming up and he keeps being dragged in it (and regardless to how this ticks us off, Michael always come back to the top) and keep showing liars, changing stories, money grabbing, etc to those who are on the other side. As this doc comes, people are going to start thinking, for those who care (I do not care about haters. Haters live for evil and often it is a reflection going on in their lives)and see through this. Even some of the claims made about MJ. Look at MJ personality, the way he carried himself, the way he was open to people when he did open up, etc. Those claims do not fit (And MJ never changed what he said and how he handle the situation. He always did what he was told to do. Guilty people NEVER do that). And this Ray who said MJ never befriended kids with two parents, that is a LIE, again, people focus on one type because it fits there narriative.See,that is also how you know who is the liars. They can not give a TRUE statement.

He should have went to jail for aggravated assault.

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

To be fair though on Piers, that question needs to be asked and it needs to have a good answer, because that's what everybody always automatically brings up. Just as we saw with Lorraine just nodding her head as if it proves he was guilty. Alt least Piers actually had Jermaine on to interview so he could answer questions, Lorraine's show they were just spurting out their own opinions as facts with nobody even there to challenge what they're saying.
I took her head nobbing as these questions need to asked by them in the interview for Jermaine to answer.

You mean the Beatles catalogue? Or do you mean his own music? Sorry for the dumb question, but I haven't been keeping up a whole lot ever since the good man passed away.

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

Billie Jean was on one of the music channels this morning. It was such a relief; I hadn't seen any of Michael's short films throughout practically all of January.
The Saturday the next day after the doc was at the Sundance. 103.9 on the national did a dedication to Michael and his family and played all their music.

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

I found today a old video from Smelly Jackson with the interview of Jermain Jackson after Wade Robsons started with his abuse claims.
There Jermain said that Wade Robson was a witness for his book.
When you watch the video further you will find als a interesting qute from wade he wrote on April 27th, 2004 in a chatroom a few days after MJ was offical indicated by a grad jury.
It whould be great when we can find a screenshot of this quote.

Here is the link to the video:

Here is the Lorraine video, were Dan Wootton (an editor for the despicable sun newspaper) states publicly that Michael Jackson was a paedophile, which is public slander of the deceased. Which despite being a grey area of UK laws is still illegal.
As you can see by the rest of the video, presenter Lorraine joins in with unfounded claims. Therefore she herself is not blameless in this action
He makes the claim at around 59 seconds into the video

For any people who live in the UK and wish to take a stand against this, I advice you to go to this link https://ofcomforms.secure.force.com/formentry/SitesFormCSLEStandardsComplaints

Fill out the form and make a formal complaint to the television regulator Ofcom against, Dan Wootton, Lorraine and ITV
The Programme Title, Lorraine
Date Of Broadcast, 30/01/19
Time Of Broadcast, 08:30
Channel/ Station, ITV
Subject, Slander against Michael Jackson

People outside the UK feel free to try although I'm not sure if it's UK residents only. The more people who file a complaint against the more likely ITV will be forced to make a retraction, which would be publicly shaming them, which hopefully in turn would get some good publicity in the fight to defend Michael's legacy.

Also if anyone has the email address for the powers involved with the Michael Jackson Estate or online team, please share this footage with them and the information. Hopefully we can make a change

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

Gayle King is getting lambasted on her Instagram acct for saying how Oprah and her watched "Leaving Neverland."

https://www.instagram.com/p/BtPxz3Qjl0Z/?utm_source=ig_twitter_share&igshid=8n11lbweo7q8
Oprah should think back when she did the 1993 interview and how Jackson was pure. When she did this interview, listening to Wade mean MJ was abusing him then. LIAR. Gayles views always go where the wind blows.

Seriously, trying to change these ignorant haters view will be impossible, because they lack rational thinking....they dismiss the sources for any PRO-MJ article and never questions the source for anything negative, its just they way it is! Sad.
Even if she lying, it still gets me why media does not jump and run with her story like they do with these liars. Do not care about haters. Haters have their own agenda.

I agree. I also think Reed is a pedophile. There’s something strange in that he seems to get sexual gratification in man/boy sex and he wanted those liars to be as graphic as possible. I feel the exact same with NAMBLA member/pedofile, Victor Guiterrez’s. The trash book that he wrote describes HIS fantasies, not Michael’s. I am also suspect and feel that Wade Robson is a pedo. My reasoning is that all the claims against Michael are what he could possibly be wishing he could do to his own son. He claimed that he looked at his baby son and began to think of sexual things, that were supposedly done to him. His wife really needs to watch him. I would not feel safe with a child of mine around Wade Robson. His claims reek of pedophilic fantasy.

I firmly believe that you’re right I wasn’t able to express it in such way, the warning signs are there and someone should really investigate these people and pretty quickly, maybe child services should wake up.

I think youtube channels is a good idea. Another idea could be that some older fan who is very well updated with facts goes on some talkshow with a big audiense to give our side of the story if this turns out to be a big thing in the long run. Also I don’t think it is impossible that Jordan Chandler finally comes forward. I know people say if he didn’t in 2005 he never will but he was 25 then and probably under a huge pressure to testify for the procecution, which he refused. He may already have tried but was sued and beaten up pretty badly by his own father (older man maybe already sick in cancer beating up a 26-27 year old but that is what his lawsuit said). It is hardly a fact that he already tried it is just speculation but they did sue eachother in 2006 or 07. Anyway he is now a 39 year old man and Tom Sneddon and Evan Chanlder is dead so if he was ever going to do it I think now would be the time.
If a woman who LIED on getting Emmitt Til killed can finally admit she lied. Jordan can as well. I just have a feeling he will admit he lied because he can not sit back and allow this crap to go on any longer. Look, he got the settlement and even he did not want none of this @#$% doc in this climate of the metoo. Jordan man, do the right thing and clear MJ's name.

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

Seriously how many times does Gayle King need to watch it. I thought she saw it at Sundance. Also who in their right mind would want to watch a documentary like that on their birthday.

I wish people wouldn't leave crude comments. As mad as they make us it just gives them further ammunition against us. Leave a more robust factual comment. Though I did smile at one or two of the comments.

Corey Feldman: Michael Jackson accusations 'could be true' but 'that's not the guy I knew'

Anika Reed USA TODAY
Published 11:29 AM EST Jan 31, 2019

Corey Feldman added his voice to the chorus of people speaking out about the controversial new Michael Jackson documentary, "Leaving Neverland."

Feldman talked to the Associated Press about the growing controversy at the Stan Lee memorial tribute at the TCL Chinese Theatre Wednesday.

The documentary, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival on Friday, features allegations from Wade Robson, 36, and James Safechuck, 40, who allege that Jackson began sexually abusing them at ages 7 and 10, respectively.

The Jackson estate has slammed the film, denouncing the accusations against the King of Pop. The documentary's director fired back, defending the subjects and saying that Jackson's family hasn't seen the movie.

Feldman said that although he hasn't seen the movie, he has "reserved feelings" about its content.

"I haven't read much, but I know that I don't really want to watch it," Feldman said. "I have my own reserved feelings about it, but I think that if you're going to do something like that so late in the game after the fact it makes it very hard to believe. It doesn't feel right to me."

He continued, talking about his friendship with the late pop icon.

"I was friends with Michael. I don't know anybody from our group of friends that ever saw him that way," Feldman said. "It feels like a big stab in the back."

However, Feldman didn't completely shut down the accusers.

"It could be true, it could be true. I don't know, I wasn't there. From my own experiences, that's not the guy I knew," Feldman said. "But God forbid, there was any truth to any of it, and if there is then I'm very sorry for anything anybody experienced. At the same time, it's pretty out there."

It's very frustrating. His computer was so old too from the 90's and there were like 45-50 users on it without any passwords. At the 2005 trial I believe the date on the computer still said 1996. Would a guy into kiddie porn leave his computer without a password and let that any people use it. That's why that moron Sneddon couldn't use it as evidence.

I really really really hope that I’m wrong but I am sure that he never will, he is 39 now he’s had a lot of time and opportunity to think and to do it, but life is comfortable with Michael’s millions and a big hole instead of conscience.

I have often wondered if it's fear of being made to repay that money is preventing him coming forward. If that is the case then I am sure the estate / family could see the benefit of giving him an amnesty in return for appearing in Taj's documentary for example.

I will stay to hope that something relly great like this will happen in next weeks or months.
Something big that turn on the bright, pure, warm light on Michael which the people behind the new "movie" hardly try to turn out forever.
There must come in something what brings some kind of justice to the whole thing, what this moviemaker and the media refuse to bring in.
God was always on Michaels side and he always will be it cause he crated him with so maaany gifts for many great, beatiful and good reasons!
Michael is his best creation and his instrument which I think he won't lost!

No, what we are doing are working. Again, MOST people hope MJ did not abuse no kid; when you show evidence, footage, and talk about how these guys defended MJ, MOST good thinking people aint buying it. Do not mistake a few comments online (and remember some people are online just to start drama).

I'm interested in hearing what Charlamagne Tha God had to say from the Breakfast Club radio show. Someone here said he ripped them to shreds. What did they say?
He went in on them and the whole cast. GCharlamagne broke it down quick . See, when it comes out, EVERYTHING is going to have to be seen and looked at. Even with the Rkelly, there was nothing anyone could do to downplay what was in the doc. Even look at Kelly, RKelly could not do it because it happen; unlike MJ, there is Plenty to knock down these guys. MJ's case may take us even beyond him. yes, these fools are getting the attention now BUT if it airs and start getting into discussion, EVEDRYTHING on them is going to be put under the microscope. I can careless about haters. haters were already hating even before this came out. If Dan Reed wants to play dirty, go ahead. This will blow up in his face. Do not be surprise if we don't find out he is a pedo.

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

Well, Corey's words are disappointing and something to appreciate at the same time. Stab in the back is right on. Saying it could be true, why? This is ammo for the tabloids out there to turn it into something else. Although they do that anyway. What the kid yesterday said (difficult name to remember) was perfect. None of this "could be true" crap. Nah, to the point and his facts.

Oh, plus why bring doubt like that when these two liars have a history of lying? What they said in 2005 is a total different story than what they started claiming in 2015 and now. Come on Corey. Wonder if Taj is going to approach him at all. The dude has known MJ for quite a while if I'm not mistaken, MJ helped him with his drug and drinking problems, he knows full well under how much scrutiny MJ has been. Why then? I get why people here call him wishy washy now.
