Just thought I'd copy/paste my post from 5mins ago in Sean's thread here...As I have realized it's more appropriate to be posted here.

I have refrained from posting anything about this mess since it all started, mainly out of frustration towards so many members here who's posts and opinions I have enjoyed reading these past two and a half years...More on this later.

To me, it's quite clear that certain members of the Jackson camp have an agenda here, releasing statements about some tracks being false etc...They have done this knowing full well that many "hardcore" MJ fans would instantly buy into it and become skeptical, which is exactly what has happened! Who knows, maybe the Cascio's rejected some 3T material 15 years ago? Of course, that's random pure speculation that I've used and it's most likely totally incorrect lol but the point I'm trying to make is that there could be inumeral reasons as to why some of the Jackson's have said what they did. Citing LaToya as a credible source is mind blowing in it's inanity! Are many of you forgetting 1993?

Sure, Mike's vocals sound a little different in 'Breaking News'...and that's the point! I firmly believe Michael was attempting to add more dimensions to his vocals. There is no law stating that Michael Jackson has to sing every song the same way! I find his vocals sung in a lower register to be really refreshing...As I'm sure Michael himself did too.

As Sean stated, anyone with doubts as to the authenticity of Mike's vocals, go and buy yourself some good stereo headphones and give it a listen...Yes, the vocal track is a little rough due to the demo nature of them, however, there is no doubt in my mind that 'Breaking News' features 100% Michael Jackson lead vocals. Period.

Since so many fans here have used their Parents (lol) in there examples to "prove" that Mike isn't singing in BN, I thought I'd play the track a couple times to my own Mother! She's one month younger than Mike and been a fan since the absolute beginning, She is the main reason why I became an MJ fan as a young child in 1989.
I played her the song, after explaining all about the "controversy" without giving her my own opinions and thoughts about it. You know what? after hearing BN, she says it's Michael through and through.

To wrap up this post, as I alluded to earlier, I would just like to add that so many fans here have disappointed me exponentially with their behaviour these past couple of days. Threatening to boycott the album etc is absolutely retarded. These same fans are making these drastic decisions based on hearsay and a sheep mentality.
By that, I mean following a crowd, peer pressure. For those fans in doubt, at least wait for this matter to be looked into properly before slandering MJ's good name and reputation with this horseshit. Many of you should feel very ashamed at the way younger members here have been influenced by many of you and your uneducated, speculatory opinions.

Finally, in my opinion, 'Breaking News' is a killer track, although somewhat unfinished...It has the potential to crack the mainstream in a way that Mike hasn't since You Are Not Alone!

I'm really dissapointed to see you feel this way Steve. I respect your opinion but I honestly thought you'd be one of the ones who believed this track was fake. Especially you being another person who is saying the family has influenced our opinion.

I dont know how many times I have to say this, but we were all AGAINST the family on Sunday night. Monday morning that changed as soon as we heard this bogus song.

The family has not influenced our opinion in anyway. Find me one post from before Monday morning where there are fans buying into what The Jacksons were saying. .....

It is our own hearing which is tellling us this, nothing to do with the family. I can quote myself as saying 'The Jacksons are going to look so stupid on Monday morning'. I have no idea why people keep saying The Jacksons have influenced our opinion.

I cant wait for the estate's announcement tomorrow.

Although if they say its 100% Michael i'll go crazy.

Teddy Riley has already said this is a fake song. when vexed, he said it all. he said he was his own worst enemy. he referred to the tiff he had with his daugter on twitter, and said that if pressed enough he will say what he wanna, no matter where it gets out. so, being vexed, seeing him speak in a video elsewhere on this site, at the hands of djs who kept asking him questions, he said the cascios have no substance and were trying to piggy back on Michael, getting family members involved with the writing and performing of this song. it got out as he was talking about drake and other non substantial 'artists' possibly working with Riley on later collabs9Teddy Riley's words, not mine). keep looking around this site..look for the vid, look at Teddy Riley's tweets..it's all there. he said he couldn't speak much, but as he stated, when vexed enough, he will spill. and he did. curse words and all. Breaking News is fake.

*enjoys listening to 'Don't Walk Away' for the 3000th time, knowing the money is going to MJ's kids*

We have disagreed a lot in the past, but I am very glad to say we agree on this.

The fact me and you agree on something has to be proof enough that this is fake! haha :)

Finally a fan with a little common sense, i was begining to think i was on my own. Seriously, i have never listened to as much rubbish as i've heard in this forum since Monday. I always thought it was unfair when the press refered to Michael Jackson fans as crazy but at this moment in time i think the majority of fans on here have gone a little crazy. Anyway i agree with you i'm really getting into to BN and can't wait for the release of the album.

We'll see who is crazy tomorrow after the estate make their announcement. I dont expect you to see you admitting to being wrong though, I dont expect to see you comment on it at all.

that's true. lol.

Riley also said this family wrote a song that sounded like another artist..i forgot who..

makes me think the family wrote Breaking News to sound like Teddy Riley's past stuff..maybe cus they wanted Riley to be impressed, since they prob knew he was coming for the finishing touches. that's prob what made me think Riley wrote this song..

sounds like a piggy back rider family to me...

Isnt it amazing how Michael sounds so different for most of the song, but then miraculously sounds like his old self in other parts?

You know.....

The parts taken from other songs -_-

I'll try to explain further Luke...

Firstly, Doesn't anyone think it's suspicious that the first information we heard about certain tracks being "fake" came right as 'Breaking News' was about to be streamed? The fact that the Jackson camp naysayers "got in first" so to speak before any fans had a chance to listen to the track ourselves to me speaks volumes.

To me, IF I was a Jackson family member or had connections to them and felt that certain tracks were fakes, I'd make the information known right from the beginning, as I'm sure 99% of us here would. As I stated earlier, the members of the Jackson camp who have made public statements about the Cascio tracks being false clearly have some kind of beef with the Cascio's or Sony, that probably stems back a while. As for LaToya's claims...PFFT...That nutcase destroyed her own credibility in '93 in a way that's near impossible to come back from.

I find the accusations of 'Breaking News' being "fake" to be totally opportunistic and aimed at a certain MJ fan base, I.E: the manic online fan base who "they" knew would over analyze and scrutinize the new recording. All it takes is that initial seed of doubt to be planted in the fans' minds and their desired effect of the accusations would most likely be realized...and disappointingly so, they have been.

To add to my previous post about my disappointment in many members behaviour since this mess began, To me, what's most infuriating is how so many of you (unfortunately Luke, you are a major culprit here mate) are stating your own opinions as FACT. Replying to posts with "...It's 100% fake" or "..."You're wrong...it is definitely not Mike" when fact is, that is solely your opinion. There is nothing wrong with stating what you believe, but something that carries that strong of a connotation to it really needs to be enforced as YOUR opinion. Especially so given the drama that's happening at present.

I have read everything Teddy has said and he in not one instance say the vocals were fake. He said quite the opposite as a matter of fact.
You might think they are fake which is fine, but don't make Teddy say something he didn't.

it's not michael....simple as that.

I've been listening to mike since the day i started to crawl , I know his voice damn well....

when I first heard the snippet they put online I was excited but when I heard the first verse of the song I cringed , it's simple NOT him....

People who think it IS Michael are doing the exact same thing though..... But you wouldnt make that point against them because they share your view on this.

People who think it is MJ initially began with "I think". From the very first posts came out, people who thought it was not MJ were stating it as fact and were sasying those who thought it was were not real fans and could not hear and were deluded.

Do we need to go back to the beginning of the thread here? I'm just telling it like it is. And people who think it is not MJ have enmasse posted their "factual" findings to the denegration of their fellow fan members. (most have anyway).

Even if it is Michael i don't think the song should be on the album at this point. I don't think they should risk the success of the album like this.

People who think it IS Michael are doing the exact same thing though.....

In a situation such as the one we're all seeing at the moment, I certainly do not condone the kind of behaviour I described, one way or the other. I am trying to lead by example and everything I have stated I have made clear are my beliefs on the subject.

For confirmation, look at the very next post of the person stating their "factual" info of it not being MJ.

We're arguing semantics here, it is implied that when a poster posts something, it is their opinions.

If I say "The tracks are fake", I'm not telling you what to believe or trying to convey it as a fact. I'm simply counting on other posters to be smart enough to know that it is my opinion. I don't think its necessary to put "In my opinion", "I believe", "I think", "If you ask me", etc. before or after every statement.

Some fans think the tracks are real, others think they are fake, others think they are a combination of both, others are totally unsure. That's what discussion boards are for.

Not everyone who thinks the tracks are real are stupid, and not everyone who thinks they're fake are "conspiracy theorists". That's ridiculous.

I really have to disagree. There have been some members here who have been really over the top about it being MJ.

Accusations of people just wanting to boycott the album because we hate Sony have been tossed around.

I've seen 'This is 100% MJ' quite a lot. Not as much as i've seen 'this is 100% NOT MJ'.
I'll own up to it, I may have stated my opinion as fact a lot of times over the past few days, I've probably even been arrogant about it. But thats just because I feel so strongly about it.

I havent seen Deano be told off once publicly, he may have been told in PM. But I have not seen him be told to calm it down a mod. Even though he has been putting down the entire community constantly.

you said you read something...did you see the video where the three djs were questioning him?

This is true, it should be known now that every post is simply a posters opinion. I'll admit I have been arrogant about my opinion at times though.

You've got to be freaking kidding me. Seriously, stop playing games. This thread is 80% "This is not MJ".

Deano was told publicly to calm down. Maybe you missed that post in the midst of your "strong opinions".

That wasn't for you. I'm not angry at you at all.
That in response to Steve001's post. :)
