Every time I come to this thread I feel about ready to blow my own brains out in pure frustration that we're still debating whether this song is real or fake. To me it's so obviously fake, and a bad fake at that, that I find it ludicrous that people could think it real.

I keep hoping we'll have moved onto 'what can we do about getting these fake tracks removed?' but here we are still having the exact same 'debate' 300+ pages later. I wish I could start a thread of 'people who believe Breaking News, Monster and All I Need are fake and want to do something about it' but I know that wouldn't be 'allowed'. Naughty me for not wanting to debate the patently obvious endlessly and with no positive outcome.

I think if it is really his voice, the Cascios should come out and at last explain in detail (possibly listing what computer software and devices they used) what they did to his voice to make it sound that way.

This monday I was like "ok, last time they said there were body doubles in TII, but there weren't any, so this news about impersonator singing are tabloid s**t. one should be completely crazy to release fake MJ song as everyone know his voice".
So when the song started to play, I haven't had a shadow of a doubt that I was about to hear a new track sung by Michael. But when I heard the first line... you know, I got in a muddle as I refused to believe that it's meant to be Michael singing

Did you listen to the vocals in This Is It? Have you heard where he sung in the depositions concerning him writing a song? Michael's voice is very distinct even over a telephone, so how is it that the recording is so processed that fans are confused if it is his voice?

It's not the stage of a track that captures an artists tone that is a matter of perfecting a record. Either the family is right and it is not Michael or it was altered and compressed to the point that fans have been confused.

We are the ones to stop someone from singing these songs and getting it on the record or we will be the ones knock Sony to their knees by cripling the profits of all things Sony or Maybe they should review a name change for their corposration along with their ground breaking ideas of changing things of Michael...

Yes I have been on that thread. But this is not problem with the lyrics, the problem is voice.
 
I listened to the acapella version only once and immediately knew this wasn't Michael's voice and no one can tell me otherwise.

I think some people seriously want to take the fans for a fool and they think fans will PAY for something like that?!!

I found a song called "All You Need Is In You," but it doesn't sound anything like the snippet of "All I Need."

BTW - if anyone is looking for Malachi's song called "All You Need Is In You," it's in the "Nimbit" player. It's on the second album called "Undiscovered, and it's the last song on that album.

Sorry that people keep asking about this, but this seemed to be the best evidence that Jason Malachi was involved in the Cascio songs. But, so far, there doesn't seem to be any real evidence that Malachi released a song called "All I Need." TBH, after hearing Malachi sing "All You Need Is In You," the "All I Need" snippet really starts to sound like Michael to me.

This Is It, the song, was also a posthumous release. The song is a good song becasue the demo is good enough to be selected and furthered worked on. The demo of Breaking News is not and they should not even try.

How is it possible that there is not decent (almost releasable) tracks in the vault?

That's the question I'd like to have an answer to, too. There MUST be enough songs in the vault that are somewhat finished, that doesn't need tons of remastering and editing and whatever they do..

I think though, that there's many fans who are more easily impacted by saying things like that before a new MJ song comes.

Good point. If they really do feature Micheal singing all of the lead vocals, they can always release them on a later album.
 
To those suggesting that we're simply coming on here to argue..that's not true. I think most of us come to this thread to see if there are any updates on the situation or statements by sony..and naturally when we don't find anything we talk to each other about it, like anyone would. That's the essence of a forum. It's not like we all have time to kill and just come on here to make each other's lives miserable. It really hurts when people assume that. We're simply trying to rationally figure it out and discuss our different points of view until an official statement is released...

it' doesn't matter what 'they' say. Michael has thrived despite 'them' saying that for years. Taj has nothing to worry about. i wish i could tell him that. we don't live by other peoples' opinions.

They probably thought they could get away with it, as they think they could get away with so much more that they've done in the past.

Sony has had several lawsuits of fraud filed against them anyways. So they've done things like this before, or similar.

I'm certainly not confused about all this. And the intention for the release of Breaking News is MUCH DEEPER. But I will not go into that here.

But the powerful negative feedback from the fans is what $ony gets for their dirty reason of choosing Breaking News. (again, i wnt get all into it here)

The big problem is that people are constraining other members who don't think like them. We have no evidence of anything, but some people want to humiliate others for not agreeing with them.

How come Michael Jackson doesn't sound like Michael Jackson on ANY of those Cascio tracks (have you heard All I need and Monster?), although he sounds like Michael Jackson on every other track?
