You know, I could imagine some years from now putting the Cascio tracks out on an "MJ songs that weren't completed" type of album that only fans would want to buy. Know what I mean? Like incomplete tracks and demos just to give us an idea. I know that I will forever be fascinated by this beautiful man and what all was in his mind and heart. Have been since I was a kid, always will be. But they just can't freaking put tracks with impersonator lead vocals (which they tried to pass off as Michael! :no on the first posthumous release titled "MICHAEL"! :bugeyed There comes a point when the ridiculous and insane are taken WAY past the limits of ridiculous and insane. :busted:

now i am really angry on SONY!!

to add another singer to an song??!

there are so many complete MJ Songs which are unreleased

i could cry!!

but now i am happy too because they WILL HAVE TO replace this 50% tracks from the album and we will get new stuff...

and we also have new vocals on breaking news and the track is great
its a impersonator duett though

I sort of don't care if it's MJ or not because I don't like the fact it's such a different voice! I wanted to hear Michael not this doubtful voice. It was ok for him to release stuff like 2000 watts but now that he's gone I want to hear songs with HIS voice. I don't want to need to listen to it over and over again just to figure out if it's him or not. I don't want this!!

thats the problem here.
people just dont like the whole song now. even if it comes out that it actually is michael, fans wont like the song.

I thought you would have quit by now. Michael's fans had no reason to destroy "Michael" album, myself included, do you think we enjoy this? This is a freakin' nightmare we are experiencing.

I tried to persuade myself it was Michael in the lead vocals (played with pitch a bit) but in vain. Yet just listening to a few seconds from snippet "Do you know where your children are" had me instantlly convinced.

Please stop trying to make everyone feel guilty. We already feel awfull because of this fraud

I agree, I was willing so much this to be a Michael Jackson song, it sounds like him, it has his style, but every time, despite the fact that I opened my mind to any digital remastering or whatever, I was constantly frowning my eyebrows naturally in sign of "wow that hurts, it's not Michael"! I have never had this in 23 years of Michael's music. Even not when I listened to songs such as ABC or I want you back or whatever other song.

About a pitch thing. Some of us (me included) claim that MJ's voice in 2000 Watts was lowered a bit. And if you have ex. AIMP2 (mp3 player) there is a pitch slider and you can change it while listening to the song. If you try it on 2000 Watts with just +1 you will hear the pure Mike's voice (lead voice, cause chorus is too high then). With Breaking News - it's not helping at all. It's still very questionable.

for me this almost PROVES that it is Michael, and believe me I did have my doubts before, I was on the fence but this reeeeeeally does sound just like Michael. I think whats happened is theres been too much post production effects and tinkering been done on the final cut of the song so it sounds different.
This may emerge as a common problem in the songs now that Michael isnt involved, but i now believe 100% that it is Michael on the song.

I don't know if you're aware but you're talking absolute crap.

Deano, unless you are very young, you need to be able to understand what you type before you let it out on a public forum in such a way that you open yourself to personal attack. You cannot claim outrageous things like the entire fan community is harming Michael because we choose to trust our hearing. You may as well claim Pepsi is identical to Coca-Cola.

Do not try to veil your post by talking above what "love" is and how "hate" will bring down Michael's legacy, for which the fans are responsible for. Why is it that we must accept what we can all hear is false? Must we be blinded by our love for Michael SO much that whatever is officially branded as Michael MUST somehow be him. I have never before in my 20 years as an MJ fan, needed a digital editing program and a heart full of hopes to make me believe i'm listening to a legit MJ track.

There is not a single argument out there to sway anyones opinion who believe it to be fake. You CANNOT bring a single argument to the table and make me budge from my belief that we have been fed something worthy of last place at the Eurovision song contest.

Real Michael Jackson music is instantly recognizable. From a classic oldie to 2000 Watts and even more recent demos, you NEVER doubt what you're listening to.

You try and convince yourself all you want. This is the beginning of the end for Michael's Legacy.

The hard-core fans will always believe in him. The rest of the world will no longer be interested in Michale Jackson 'the fake' - and this is how they will see it I'm afraid.

You think Michael will come out of this untarnished? His own fans turning against his album? What world are you living in?

your ability to hear the different notes with MJ,

the beginning where you think your hearing it different they used 2 or 3 layers of the same voice and put it together, when you can hear him clearly is when they only use 1 layer
and thats where you all say is him, but when they put 2-3 voices together
you are saying is not him.

no one is helping anyone's legacy by telling another person to like a song. being someone else's song thought police is always counter productive.

ever wonder why advertisers spend millions to put a commercial on tv, knowing, that once that money leaves their hands, they are helpless, knowing that the consumer makes the final decision, whether or not to buy the product?

i bet the advertisers don't have an answer to that question. just as they know that there doesn't need to be any reason at all, for why the consumer buys or doesn't buy the product. and fault is NEVER an issue. as it never should be.

ever also notice that if a person cares about someone, they will find a way to prove that care, without jeopardizing their own integrity?

when i was little..i was fascinated by the news on tv.

right now, when someone uses the words 'breaking news' in a commercial, or any given situation, i never realized how common that phrase is...and the feelings i have are not positive, when i hear that phrase, now.

I take it some of you will be boycotting sales of all Michael's albums that contain vocals that are not 100% his? i.e - 'Off The Wall', 'Thriller', 'Bad', 'Dangerous' etc? After all, other people sang vocals/backing vocals on these albums. If you're obsessed that everything has to be 100% MJ, then you better burn all your albums.

It never was about the backing vocals- it's about the lead vocals on this track that are CLEARLY not Michael's. The only people destroying Michael's Legacy are the ones that can't tell Michael's voice from an AMATEUR IMPERSONATOR. The ones that buy any crap song simply because it's labeled a "Michael Jackson" song.

We are not 'obsessed that everything has to be MJ'. Michael has numerous songs where the backing vocals are sang by other people. But forgive us for wanting a Michael Jackson song to have Michael Jackson singing the lead vocals. :doh:

Our wish is not for the album to be a flop. We want the album to be a big success, but that can only happen when MICHAEL is the one singing the songs! That's what sells the album in the first place! Otherwise you might as well buy a Britney Spears album, if you're not interesting in Michael Jackson singing the songs.

There's a time and a place for everything, and sometimes you gotta be man enough to admit you're wrong.

I believe this is NOT Michael Jack-SON!

I really want to believe this too, because his Spirit is NOWHERE to be seen in this new song. His emotions, feelings EVERYTHING Michael Jackson is not present in this song.

If it turns out to be MJ, these are the weakest vocals, i'd ever heard from him. And I now understand why it has NEVER been released.

Even in Shout, Escape, 2000W etc. You can clearly feel his spirit right there, even thoug is another way of singing. But you can FEEL Michael Jackson in those songs, NOT on this one.

God i miss that human being, I really want to hear his voice again. Another Sad day for mankind!

Call back Randy, Jackie, Jermaine, Tito and Marlon, let them fill in the gaps, release it as a final Jacksons album and kick out the fake Michael that is actually Jason Malachi! At least we'll have something along with The Jacksons, Goin' Places, Destiny, Triumph, Live, Victory, 2300 Jackson Street and Michael!

I don't see other ways to save the legacy than this!

Do you understand what you are telling?We have to believe everything, just because THEY say it's Michael.This is the biggest nonsense that can be said.I know Michael's breathing in every song, I know his style better then I know my own voice.I can't sit and watch quitly when someone is ruining Michael's legacy with that fake songs.Even my 10 year old cousin could hear something is wrong with "Michael's voice".

^ It's felt like the twilight zone.

For those who are interested, I spoke with my source on the phone for over 30 minutes tonight regarding this whole mess. This is coming straight from Sony: the vocals are over 50% not MJ's, they did hire an impersonator to run over the majority of MJ's pre-existing vocals and tried to hide it with production.

The remaining Cascio tracks including "Monster" are all in the same boat with some MJ vocals and some imposter vocals. There will be a big meeting tomorrow at Sony where they will discuss the future of this album. More to come...
