Or maybe all this is indeed a marketing strategy! Any news is good news! Bad news, good news!

The debate is spreading all over the boards and the news! This arises curiosity and willingness to participate by having a glimpse of the songs! This is the best way to have free publicity!

I bet you that people will massively buy the album out of curiosity, and the investors will anyway check in! Not to mention all the Michael Jacksons fans who despite our willingness to defend Michael's legacy, will buy the album to add it to the collection of all other albums, put it on the shelf and point out at it and say this is Michael's fake album distributed officially in the shops. It will become Michael's first "Black Album" (by this latter I mean an album full of outtakes and tempted songs).

Let this be true. Delay the album and Put the rodney jerkins stuff on. Is that so difficult?

This fake and forced voice sounds as if the singer is in the toilet and wants to poo!

It has nothing to do with Michael's natural screaming and hicups!

Songs that Michael left behind were not all demos and unfinished.
Ortega said in one interview that BRAND NEW SONGS were completed and ready to be performed at TII shows as a surprise for the fans.
I heard him say that with my own ears.( I will try to find a link )
So ...all this talk about unfinished songs and demos are driving me crazy.

Simply not true, we have several leaked demos from Thriller and Dangerous which were not officially, and likely never intended to be released.

This acapella only makes it more clear to me that it is not Michael.

Unfortunately these discussions will probably go nowhere. It is really frustrating for both sides here (people who don't think it is Michael and people who do think it is him), as both cannot understand how the other cannot hear what they are hearing. For me, I feel 100% sure that Michael is not singing on most of that track, apart from some edited in samples (I actually think apart from those, it is all someone else), and it is shocking to me how many people do think it is him. It's like hearing a cat meow and then coming across some other people who say it is a dog barking. You just think: what the hell? But I'm sure many of the people who do think it is Michael feel the same way... sigh...

None of the vocals are Michael's on this track, except the obviously pasted in "heehee's" and "aoows". The pronunciation, the lyrics, the feel, the speaking in third person is simply NOT Michael's style at all!

Can't believe Jason Malachi (or some otherimposter who sound EXACTLY like MALACHI) is actually fooling so many MJ fans and is about to get his fake as songs on MICAHEL'S NEW ALBUM !?!?!?

We can't let Malachai's horrible vibrato and tone destroy Michael's new album!

We have to get all those Cascio tracks off that album or it will be a disaster!

I created this to highlight what I believe is a forgery.

This is in the same boat as those who have previously forged historical artifacts - weathering pages of "lost" artwork or books to give an aged look, for the purpose of convincing others to get money.

What does this have to do with "BREAKING NEWS" you might ask?

If you were given the task to write a song for the sole purpose of convincing others it was written by Michael Jackson, would it be a safer bet to write a love song, a dance track or a fiery rock song OR go with the anti-media, everyone is out to get me theme? Neutrals and even fans would accept it on face value alone based on the fact it's theme is anti-tabloid.

This is the biggest deal breaker for me.

I disagree, I think what's going on now will only lead people to massively download the album (illegally) out of curiosity, rather than purchase it.

both 'whoo's!' are taken from 'You Rock My World' and 'Another Part Of Me'

if you have acapellas of both songs go and listen. I compared the wave structure of the specific parts and they are the same except for some slight equalising.

You can even hear the string section of 'You Rock My World' on the acapella version of Jason Malachi's 'Breaking News' at the end of the 'whoo!'

Nope, proberly because they know all this talk is promoting the album without any form of actual promotion from themselves...

I honestly doubt we'll ever hear of any official word from the estate about 'Breaking News' however i'm pretty much confident it is Michael and the vocals have been over produced

At the end of the day,Michael went through two trials, came out of it a changed man, yes, but came out of it.He saw light at the end of the tunnel.He came out of it a stronger person.

If we can't pull together over this which really,isn't as bad as we all went through together with the trials, then there is no hope for us.

Day two & the arguing still is going on instead of respecting each other & the different opinions we share.

After hearing this accapella i am even more confused.
What bothers me the most is the 'You keep on breaking the news' part, where Michael supposed to be using his agressive voice like only he can do that. This part sounds very surpressed to me and doesn't sound like him at all! It's to much on the background of the song.
Also the way the word 'Obituary' is pronounced is also veeeery different from what i've heard from any MJ song. It's just not his way of singing.

They better have a good explanation for this, because i will not buy the album until they come forward with the freaking truth!
In my opinion MJ's estate should have sued Malachi when MJ was still alive. Since when is it normal to duplicate such an artist in a very very unoriginal way and just stealing his style, his inspiration! It's an outrage!!

Excuse me while i put on some History here! ahaha THE REAL STUFF!

New York NY - On Monday 8th November www.michaeljackson.com streamed the song Breaking News which was originally intended to be included on the upcoming set of posthumous Michael Jackson recordings MICHAEL.

The origin of this track, along with two other tracks initially intended for inclusion on the album, came from a friend of Michael's based in New Jersey. Whilst we have complete confidence that the pair did collaborate on material in 2007, the decision has been made to cut these tracks from the albums tracklisting.

Final adjustments to the album are currently being made. The release of the first single from MICHAEL will be announced shortly.

The beginning of the song sounds just the same as "You Rock My World" instruments sampled and repeated. Parts of the music in the song sound as an old video game music. Not to mention that usual claps (drums, percussions or keyboard claps) are completely absent from teh song. This just does not sound Michael neither vocally nor musically.

That part actually reminded me of Cartman from South Park. :unsure: I'm not kidding, that's what came to mind. I love Michael's aggressive gravelly voice, this sounds nothing like it to me.

There's little bit's of MJ in there but the majority of the vocal is someone else! I can't believe some fans think this is MJ's voice. To me it's obvious this isn't MJ, I won't ever listen to this song again because to me it's not Michael Jackson
