Re: "Breaking News" General Discussion Here

If the tracks are to be finalised by friday I can see this whole episode being a rather bodged attempt to test the waters as it were...

They should have done an xcape or HMH and 'leaked' the track so the fanbase could pan it thus giving SONY the answer they needed.

Silly, Silly SONY

Re: "Breaking News" General Discussion Here

It's the Cascio's who handed these tracks over to the estate. They're the ones who (successfully) tried to deceive the Estate.
It's Sony who's been deceived, not the Estate. Sony gave 250millions to Estate for the new music deal.

Can you imagine it's a conspiracy of Michael himself againsts Sony? :D:rofl:

- in 2007 Michael listens to Cascio's tracks (with Bobby Ewing)
- Michael tells the Cascio "if something happens to me...give these tracks to Sony...they won't recognize it's not my voice"
- Sony puts 2-3 Cascio's tracks
- big scam for fans they realize they're fake songs
- Sony stops promotion of new album and lose very big sum of money

I don't see Sony putting fake impersonator to complete unfinished MJ's songs. That's plain stupid to do.

Re: "Breaking News" General Discussion Here

yeah, and especially during his life! They wanted him dead to capitalize his death and make more money without financing videos. Bet they were salivating toward this.....

Also they didn't have anymore faith in him. After History and BOTDF, they tried to pressure him immensely. They wanted radio friendly songs not like in History.... Invincible is the result, and even so I adore this album. Mike was there for extravagant mixing, for extraordinary singing, background vocals, everything is polished perfectly.

History was natural point of musical evolution where Mike was, I've also heard that he composed clasical music. A producer from England has now music for a clasical cd. Sony didn't approach him!

They wanted to box Mike in something 'hot' and radio friendly.... That's why Mike wasn't encouraged to release.... all those years ( exception of course for the trials and year after, he couldnt ) he was rushed to work with hot producers as Will I Am and Akon. And Mike, weakened by trial, harsh critics, he tried and tried..... I think nothing probably notable came out of those collaborations....
Also they were ashamed of his recent appearance/face. All recent musical covers are sketches, or paintings...... Do they think we are that stupid to not observe this???

They made him waste his precious time on Earth with their stupidity. The same with touring and making many many concerts in England.
If Mike wouldn't been pressured to sign that contract, today he would be very much alike, and probably with an album out. The insomnia would have not gotten worse, and Murray would not appear in Mike house. Cause and effect....

Instead of treasuring him, of buying him a record studio on his birthday, encourage to compose and record comfortably, more and more, in his free natural style.... They gave him pressure, stress, bad advices, pushed him in wrong directions ( touring ) making him loosing time with sub par producers. Akon is not on Mike level, Will I am the same....
Now I see that even Teddy Riley is so off......

I completely know NOW who was the real man behind all, even the mixing. Simple, Michael Jackson.

When he is not here, they are doing a mess including Teddy Riley. Ignore the voice for a while and look at the mixing. Where are the REAL instruments?? Where is the extravagant, extraordinary mixing that Mike would have been content with??

I know, right. I was just so totally thinking exactly what you said about how this whole mess really highlights that the vast majority/all of the reasons why MJ's releases during his lifetime were so good is because of MJ and nobody else. Also, you are spot on about how badly he was treated - so fucking sad

that would be funny :tease:

Re: "Breaking News" General Discussion Here

I don't know why everyone seems to be talking as if Sony are the ones who arranged all of the fake vocals.

It's the Cascio's who handed these tracks over to the estate. They're the ones who (successfully) tried to deceive the Estate. Sony may very well believe that they are authentic. Don't forget, these people are businessmen, not music fans. Perhaps they really are that stupid??

I bet is Sony. The company got money....

That artist was called and invited in their studios.

Cascio probably handed them the demos, letting them use those. And as demos were HOME production an pretty basic, Sony thought that they can make a musical KILT out of those and Malachi voice.

Sony is the mastermind in this..... companies are not that naive.... common.... they got experts, resources.... nah. Sony was the head here, the decision maker, some brilliant brain from them probably came this stupid idea, and they all run with this like thieves.

Re: Do You Think "Breaking News" + other Cascio songs will be left out of MICHAEL due to controversy

It would be FRAUD. So yeah I think they are forced to take those out.

Unless they credit Malachi, but who wants to buy that??

There's NO WAY Mike would put any of us through all this...

Re: "Breaking News" General Discussion Here

You do realise that by analysing all that we are giving Malachi free tips on how to improve, right? :wild:

I don't think we have to worry about anyone coming close to MJ... ;)

You've got a great point. On the same note as Sony just being business men, though, why would they care if the music gets butchered if they can stretch the vault out for another couple albums? Just another thought.

Re: Do You Think "Breaking News" + other Cascio songs will be left out of MICHAEL due to controversy

If all the Cascio songs are as questionnable as Breaking News then I'm worried about how much fans will be able to enjoy this album. If this was the only questionnable song I just might be able to overlook it, but if there are three or more of these Cascio tracks, the album will end up being a complete joke.

This whole thing is outrageous. If Sony have PROOF, then show it to us. Silence the family and the fans with cold, hard proof and we can all sit back and enjoy the album. Otherwise, these songs need to be removed.

I would rather have eight tracks of 100% MJ, then 12 tracks where I have to question a quarter of the songs.

DO THE RIGHT THING FOR MICHAEL. PROVE IT OR LOSE IT.

I dont believe Fans will be able to enjoy the album anyways.
When you say you dont like it now and wont buy it, but if its Michael suddenly everythings okay and the song is great?
People still wont like the way Michael is singing, if Sony can proof that its him. So either way Fans wont buy it.

Yeah just a joke there. Even if one masters the "outside" (pronounciation, breathings etc), he could never have the soul Michael had and was able to express through his music

Re: "Breaking News" General Discussion Here

A movie is coming into my mind now..... It's called SIMONE. Featuring Al Pacino.

It's about total virtual experience/films with virtual nonexistent actor. It's so dehumanizing for artists....

I am thinking that maybe Sony has been enjoying this idea. Imagine a 3d Mike, virtual Mike, computerized mixed with real imagery....

Then the same with the voice - use existent songs, demos, unreleased to create something new + mix that with good impersonator to fill the gaps........

Keep this project secret, thinking fans are morons, nobody would notice the thing with the voice, and then in years to come, release the virtual experience. Make loads of money out of it. Something as they did with Simone character in that film, exception Simone was not real in the first place.
The HOAX theories comes from them, now I am sure.... Mix reality with conspiracy and imagination....
Kenny Ortega got very odd twitts out those months after Mike died..... very vague and methaphorical.... lot of insinuations.
Also Pepsi campaign - Make Believe... ( after they saw how some fans are calling themselves BeLIEvers) Some illusionist poster with a man appearing like Mike under curtain, as in promising of resurrection )
They are not fools, they want those myths propagated..... The more imagination and stories involved the more money for them!

Imagine Sony sucking us dry for years to come, telling us again that they discovered new songs..... Putting again new albums.....
I bet the Estate is in the 'know' on this experience.

Not too mention the computer WII games that would follow, or Sims type of games - Make your personal Mike, putting him to sing, mix his vocals etc

I know is just a feeling but I can't shake it off. Watch that Simone film is very very interesting. Al Pacino is the lead character.

I'm not talking about the merits of the song, I'm talking about going into a record store, buying a Michael Jackson album and listening to it knowing that it's not really him on the record. That is plain wrong.

Re: "Breaking News" General Discussion Here

^ It's felt like the twilight zone.

For those who are interested, I spoke with my source on the phone for over 30 minutes tonight regarding this whole mess. This is coming straight from Sony: the vocals are over 50% not MJ's, they did hire an impersonator to run over the majority of MJ's pre-existing vocals and tried to hide it with production.

The remaining Cascio tracks including "Monster" are all in the same boat with some MJ vocals and some imposter vocals. There will be a big meeting tomorrow at Sony where they will discuss the future of this album. More to come...

smooth_criminal05, Thank you for posting that.

Please ask your source to inform Sony execs. that we are still expecting an album release before Christmas. We anticipate singles with Michael's voice clearly discernable and are in plans of forming a group of fan representatives to preview the tracks before the CD is released.
Thank you and God bless!!!

Re: Do You Think "Breaking News" + other Cascio songs will be left out of MICHAEL due to controversy

I hope so, but doubt it. :(

If sony give us a full album with an imposter singing every track, I won't be buying it!

Re: "Breaking News" General Discussion Here

Guys, I have no time to look through all the 40 new pages, is there any news? Any new statements?
thanks :)

Re: "Breaking News" General Discussion Here

Yes, I don't think it's even a 50%.
If you hear the real acapella http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wWBhoGEeSo ( sorry if it's been posted) it's all another guy, and it sound so much forced. I don't know about Mr.Teddy, but if I hear this acepella for the first time I can say it's fake.

I don't care if they decide to delay the album, but I hope they make a right decision.

Just wanted to emphasize the fan representatives idea. We knew it was fake from the first couple words. Please suggest this, and, again, thank you for the updates!:clapping:

Re: "Breaking News" General Discussion Here

Listened to "new" acapella - even more convinced it's NOT him! I have never got annoyance feeling while listening to him! But with this one...

Re: "Breaking News" General Discussion Here

It does sound stupid, but after listening to BN I feel Sony is capable of doing whatever pops into their heads. After all, they are the one who's trying to 'sell' us, THE FANS, a fake music saying it's real. Have they forgot how MJ and his music sounds like? Because I sure have not.

Seriously, if they have nothing to do with the fake vocals and the material was what it is when it was given to them why don't they withdraw it now when it has caused a lot of controversy among the fan community? People tried to fool us with Opis None and it was exposed by fans within a minute it came out. Doesn't this whole mess ring a bell at them at all? I don't care if every person at Sony would send me a message saying they believe the material is authentic and it's MJ singing... For God's sake if that is MJ who's albums I've been listening to for the past 15 years then?

That's very interesting, thank you. Sony finally admits they stretched bits and pieces of MJ's vocals and supplemented them with an impersonator over the new album.
Did they really think they could fool the fans?
Please keep us posted on the outcome of the meeting.

Great post...scary as hell.
And I am SO glad you mentioned Simone. It seems I'm always referencing this movie for some reason or other, haha, and no one ever knows what I'm talking about! I've always found it fascinating.

...But not when we're talking about Michael. Then it becomes downright terrifying. It really reinforces the theory that they didn't need him here anymore...they could do it all without him - and more easily. And that is horrifying. Anyway, off topic, sorry. It's late. I'm drained.

Re: "Breaking News" General Discussion Here

Good Morning after i listen to the Acapella Version i have to say it is MJ. But they mixed the Vocals to much that we hear a absolut strange and diffrent Voice of MJ. I think that is the problem on the finished Track.
