Maybe Motown could release an album of Donny Osmond and call it Michaels lost tapes or something. Wouldn't be suprised!

Its Mike on the record somewhere, maybe a voicemail or something but I can tell by the strained attempts at MJs 'gritty' voice its not him, that bit always weeds out the fakes as they can only ever do the smooth falsettos etc.

I think if I had the music to this and the background vox I could do a better job of sounding like MJ than Teddys managed to bring out here, stick your FBI musicologists on it et al.

Unbelievable stuff.

Has Will.i.am said anything about it yet?

What Sony need to do is release an ep of the non suspect tracks. It will still sell like hotcakes. If they are so sure the tracks that are taken off are real, they can prove it & use it for future release. They don't lose anything if they are telling the truth. No one cares how many tracks there are on the album, just as long as we get some new, genuine tracks.

For those who are interested, I spoke with my source on the phone for over 30 minutes tonight regarding this whole mess. This is coming straight from Sony: the vocals are over 50% not MJ's, they did hire an impersonator to run over the majority of MJ's pre-existing vocals and tried to hide it with production.

The remaining Cascio tracks including "Monster" are all in the same boat with some MJ vocals and some imposter vocals. There will be a big meeting tomorrow at Sony where they will discuss the future of this album. More to come...

Now I would buy an MJ album of raw demos! I don't care if the songs aren't finished if it's the real Michael! But, that's not what they want and that's why we have this issue!

I guess "the future of the album" could mean many things: short delay, indefinite delay, release as EP, etc

Imo, THIS is MJ but they've messed with it so much & added extra impersonator vocals to fill the track out (which is pretty much what Smooth said his source told him.

TR = This is my first interview about this topic. Take everything I say seriously. All of these people knows Michael's voice. I'm called the finisher because I'm always called at the end of the projects. Michael called me at the end of Invincible. I was called in the end of History including Dangerous I was called in the end and wind up having doing 40-50% of the album. I'm called at the end of every project and I was called at the end of this project because some of the producers that worked on this project had never worked with Michael so they couldn't really figure out what Michael really wanted. They were doing remixes. So when you hear this record you'll hear the records that I worked on. All of a sudden my records that's being scrutinized. It's Michael. And the person who is really trying to stir this up is JM. He challenged me on this record. He is the head of the estate and he challenged me because I said I can't work in this studio I'm not comfortable and I when I left the studio he assigned another producer to mix the same songs that I have worked on and my songs beat him. Now all of a sudden it's not Michael's voice why? Because his songs didn't make it.

Q = So this is a smear campaign
TR= yes it is and the thing is they will lose. Take Sony, take us all, let's go to court. Let's put it on front street and everything the family the estate will be on the front street. And all the truth will come out and you'll see who is right and wrong. It's been going on so long. Michael is the greatest entertainer, greatest person in the whole wide world why would you want to do that to your family? Let the legacy live.

Q= what is your take on the album being released?
TR= My take is keeping the legacy going. How would we keep Michael Jackson the greatest going if we don't have anything. Now I heard 50 records with my own ears. What he would do is go record the first verse and the chorus and he wouldn't do a second verse just to get the idea going. So the next album coming you know I don't want to say too much but the next album coming is a duet album that's gonna be with a lot of great artists because he only did the first verses. It would be great artists with substance. It would be artists that are very creative and great. And I'm going to be a part of that because of my contribution. Even to this album my contribution to this album is not for Sony is not for anyone it's for Michael. The proof is in the pudding I didn't even got a contract. I promise you. They'll streaming it tomorrow. and people will tell you I came on this project because of Michael not anyone else. So when this gentleman told me to come to this project and don't worry it was for him to put his name on my records.

Q= I take you have your attorney's on for tomorrow?
TR= No question. My attorney is the greatest attorney in Atlanta (Joel Katz) so I'm not worried about anything he's the best. All I worry is my friend (MJ) having a great album. When I started the first song they thought that I'll be like the other producers taking 5 -6 days. No I took 5 hours and finished the first song. So when I finished the first song , they thought I'll do one song because a lot producers spent months on one song. Me I came in did it in 5 hours because I knew I had sounds that Michael made us go sample that was his thing sounds. He made us go in the wilderness and sample, go to his zoo and sample lions . Back in the day when they had stereo decks he made us go out sample sounds. He went out to his zoo in Neverland and sampled wild animals. Well that's another story to tell. There's so much friction and people just don't understand family everyone needs to get this legacy going. Like everyone saying "Elvis is still alive" Well you are killing Michael. Why? I wanted to tell you that all that's going on is all about money and everyone is in it for the wrong reasons. Their intentions are wrong.

Q= How did you feel when you were working on this project.
TR= Listen I did everything under the sun cried, sad. Then I came in one day I said the only thing that would make me feel like Michael is here is that I called his photographer Harrison Funk and asked him to come in and bring all the pictures of Michael. I had pictures all around the studio which you can probably see if we do a documentary. So you'll see pictures of Michael all around the studio so that I can feel like he's in the room with me. That was the only thing to keep me sane and not go crazy because you would hear me on the music hitting the keyboards and tears coming out of my eyes.

Q = do you think conspiracy (asking about the album)
TR= Definitely conspiracy. I cannot say directly say it because I signed a nondisclosure agreement. There has been a conspiracy from A to Z. There are people who are doing this for good because they are doing it for the good of the children. There are people who are stopping it because they think good of the children is not in their best interest. ( He declines to comment about Michael's death and conspiracy ).

so wait all of this IS MICHAEL....sounds like him...why does the title say it's not...so this is michael and the added someone elses vocals to "fill in"?

IMO it is, yes. Other's may feel differently. The poster of the video clearly doesn't think it's MJ - I do.

i thought i defo was not him when i first heard
then later i thought it was but wiith alot of computers over it
now listening to that clear acapella iam thinking it isnt

I agree with you. I think it's Michael's voice on this recording. I think this acapella is genuine.

You're not alone..we all went through this draining experience :(. The best thing to do now is just to refrain from judgement and just wait until Sony responds.

Just listened to the acapella version and found it to be very interesting. It's defintiely the fake vocals, however what I found interesting waas that at around 21 seconds when he says "Just when you thought it was..." it actually sounds like a different person..very subtle but obvious different. I feel that's the real MJ. But I couldn't pay attention to any other instances where I heard the real MJ. Anyone notice this? Listen to the song from the beginning and pay attention at the 21 second mark..

Lmao are you kidding me? After all these years, it's really not surprising when an MJ development is derailed by something, but this time I gotta give points for originality. A song that sounds so not like Michael Jackson that the majority of listeners question its legitimacy. Who saw that coming? Not I.

It really is ridiculous how hard it always has to be with Michael since the early 90s pretty much. Every other popular artist just has a first single put out (where it's actually them) which is then followed by radio play which is then followed by an album. It's such a foolproof formula. With MJ it's as if every time something really cool is about to happen or in the process of happening, he gets accused of child molestation/goes to war with the record label/gets accused of child molestation/dies. And it's always in perfect timing with a concert or an album release or a major comeback. It's almost funny in a really really sad way, but not in a haha way obviously. I swear, if he wasn't the greatest singer/dancer of all-time his legacy would not have survived this unprecedented amount of bullshit. Because it really just is... unprecedented. Holy cow.

A fake song? Really? Really?

The ONLY thing (and I do mean the only thing) that makes me humor the idea that this might actually be Mike (with his voice modified for whatever reason) is the thought that Sony cannot possibly be this stupid. I can buy the "evil record label" spiel, but I have a hard time buying that these rich corporate people are so UNINTELLIGENT that they could not foresee that fans would catch on. You can be an asshole and still be smart, and I would expect these guys to at least be competent in the brains department. I was linked to this song by a friend who isn't even that big of an MJ fan and even he said it sounded fake. Jesus. Even if it is Michael, it's not really the point anymore because all the fuss and debate about it has pretty much killed it.

I just hope the album DOES have songs I haven't heard before that are undoubtedly Michael Jackson and also that Breaking News isn't the first single. Controversy aside, I think it's a cool song but not first single worthy.

But it's whatever. Michael doesn't even need a new album or anything to cement himself, so anything extra is just icing. If I got even one new MJ song that I really really liked, that'd keep me pretty content for some time.

That's mj on the acapella 100%

I trust my hearing, there are certain MJ charecteriatics that can be clearly picked up on

BUT we are only hearing about 35 to 40% of the track. The YouTube account holder seems to have got themselves in a muddle, IMO what we have here is the TRUE MJ vocals only with the 'imposter' vocals missing.

I'm still not 100% sure on the whole imposter idea, there does seem to be a massive amount of 'cut and paste' going on with Michaels vocals, the layering could be to hide that and in the end we have an odd sounding voice.

Even if they keep on insisting it's Michael Jackson, the will have to realize that if will affect sales in a negative way...
