When I think back to the build up to Michael.... Jesus, remember how earth shatteringly confused, annoyed and volatile after hearing the premiere of Breaking News?! It's fantastic to feel excited about a new MJ album again!

I thought MJ got co-writer's credit because he allowed Rihanna to sample "Mama-say, mama-sa, ma-ma-ko-ssa" from his Wanna Be Starting Something song and that was his only participation?

Yes. I don't think he co-wrote the song per se. He was just given credit because parts of WBSS were lifted into that song.

I'm very much looking forward to this album, there have been plenty of leaks but I personally won't download them, I'd feel this way if Michael were alive too, He worked hard on these things and taking it for nothing wouldn't feel right to me and I certainly wouldn't feel any better about because he's not with us anymore, I'd feel like I was robbing his grave. Sony and MJ didn't get along all the time but with the music you can't hurt one without hurting the other.

I see your point but I think your analogy is flawed, because 'Michael' and 'Bad 25' are not unrelated. Bad 25 was not released by a different group of people, it was the same team that gave us 'Michael'. To stick with your analogy, the ex that caused this woman pain with his previous behaviour ('Michael') is back in her life, trying to win her over again (with 'Bad 25'). She wants to fall in love again, but is apprehensive because a. the guy never rectified or apologized for his previous mistakes ('Michael'), b. he has not yet shown that he has actually changed. Seems like a normal reaction to me. I think blindly falling in love with the guy again would actually be the foolish thing to do.

:lol: How a discussion about The Michael Jackson Estate leads to analogies that sound directly borrowed from cheesy soap operas.

One final thing: I think this idea that people only criticize Bad 25 or Xscape because they are looking for flaws is wrong and condescending to people who are not 100% enthusiastic about the release. Sure, there might be people who do just look for flaws, but there are also plenty of people who offer constructive criticism or have specific reasons for their less enthusiastic opinions. To you these projects might seem great, but other people might simply feel differently about that. Seeing any form of criticism instantly getting shot down here can be frustrating.

And they were on tour with him as his backup dancers. I think starting at the dangerous tour. But HIStory tour definitely...

Very exciting teasers, hope all will come soon. Also, I wish fans who attended the listening parties could give us information on upcoming "surprise" releases! I wanna know everything now :lol: will be keeping a close eye on the news threads

I hope at some point in the future we get the other tracks that we're on Michael's handwritten notes that have enough vocals to be released, along with the 5 tracks we have right now. But staying on topic, the album announcement came on a Monday.. And it would be 3 weeks until release this Monday.. It's possible!

The wait is making us crazy!! Come on SONY!! Give us something! An announcement, a single, some Info - just something!! Maybe a new website! Give us something to talk about while we wait.
