itunes lists 17 tracks for the delux edition & Jesse Johnson hinted via facebook the songs name

Guitar player posted it on his facebook account with detailed info about who plays which instrument. Questlove playing the drums. Also Joe Vogel said he heard the song and said it was considered for the main album but didn't make the cut.

I get it, but these guys are clearly not insulting him. They probably call every person that is named Jackson, *****, like ppl that are Danny, Danno, or something like that. I just didn't see them trying to bash him or insult him. That whole piece was very positive. I personally don't find it insulting, now if they called him ***** *****, THEN now I would definitely be very upset because THAT is insulting.

Well, I just saw that YT piece, and clearly he doesn't like ***** *****, that is what upsets him, and like I said, THAT is insulting.


Anyway, this piece makes me think this release is going to be awesome. A lot of positivity, and the fact he said it is the most anticipated album in a decade, that was great!

I know I wasn't really part of this so pardon me for jumping in, but I just wanted to add something...

I get what you're saying Tricia, I really do. You're not the first person I've heard say it, so I know you're telling the truth in regards to J---o being like a nick-name. But, let's take your "Danno" example for a minute.

Let's say you have a friend name Daniel, and one day you start calling him "Danno". But he tells you, "I don't like it when you call me that", are you still going to call him that? Chances are you won't, because he asked you not to and you want to respect his wishes. You may not agree with it, and you may not see why he doesn't like that nick-name, but he kindly asked you to stop so you do.

It's the same with Michael. You don't have to agree with his reason why, all he wants is for you (not you specifically, but everybody) to respect his wishes and not use that name, that term, in reference to him.

Besides, "J---o" was never used to refer to him before he labeled as "W---o J---o". So anytime he is called "J---o", it just brings back all those horrible memories.

Bottom line, it's just all about respecting Michael. I'm not saying you don't, but anybody who calls him "J---o" is not respecting his wishes.

Guy, you do know that most of these people do not follow MJ's every word like we the fans. If they are speaking positively about him then chances are they have no idea he doesn't like that name. They aren't his friends or fans like us.

I know in the UK J***o is short for Jackson and a lot are using it without trying to insult or disrespect him.

Except its not a "Brit" thing. There are plenty British MJ fans who don't call him ***** nor do they find it okay. Michael didn't like it, simple as that. The fact that he didn't like the term nor did he like being referred to as that should be enough for any so-called fan to refrain from addressing him as such.


On another note, please don't underestimate Lil Wayne. This is the Carter V. It's apparently going to be his last album, and if it's one thing Lil Wayne knows how to do, thats sell albums. Especially his "Carter" series, check the previous sales of every previous "Carter" album...Michael has some stiff competition sales wise, because "The Carter" albums always do extraordinaryly well.

Wayne's album has been pushed back, it ain't coming in May. And Mariah is not a threat either - her last studio album pretty much flopped, it debuted at #3 and it sold about 160k the first week. Even if she debuts at #1 it won't be for more than a week.

Wrong, "most" Lil Wayne fans buy his "Carter" albums. Check the sales numbers for every previous entry...His last one was the only one that didn't do that great. I think he sold around 500, 000 copies within the first week. But every entry before that broke records. But as previously mentioned, Wayne pushed the title back himself out of respect for Michael. Which I had previously forgotten about. So we should be thankful, as much crap people like to give him, Wayne respects the greats. This is the second time he's pushed back an album solely for the sake of another artist. Had he not done so, Xscape would be in trouble.

Sony removed my STTR remix demo test I did, like friggin 1 min 30 second fan remix I made got removed, but its cool to keep the Bieber version which has 600k+ views on there and countless other 100k+ videos? Next thing you know they will be at my door saying | got multitracks like they did for Hollywood Tonight xD

Its good they cleaning up and all but aim for the official and "bieber official" mixes first.

Um, yes it is short for Jackson.

The thing is, the meaning of words change over time. It meant monkey centuries ago, and I believe that the tabloid reporters who made up the term 'W.acko J.acko" knew this. So yes, at first, there was a degree of racism at first by those tabloid reporters because they knew it had a racist undertone to it.

But let's be honest I don't think that 99.99% of people who use the term these days realise it was once a racist term, nor intend their use of the remark to be racist. Hell, I know a few people called Jackson and they get called J.acko from time to time. So yes, while it might've been a popular term for monkey centuries ago, it isn't really anymore. These days, it's pretty much just a nickname for people named 'Jackson' and, in Michael's case, it's used as derogatory term.

Please note I'm not defending the reporters use of J.acko either, it urked me as well.

I was only being half way serious with the we should be thankful part. But uhm, everything else applies..With that said....


You know this how? It's been ready for a whole year and a half. And this isn't the first time he's pushed back his own album for someone elses release. He has a track record for this as he's done it once before..And not only does he respect the great artists around him and the ones who came before him, its very clear had they dropped in the same month, within a week or two of each other, The Estate would be in for a fight.. I'm willing to bet that that's partially the reason for the pushback.

I disagree; not with you personally but, this concept. No matter how much time goes by, a derogatory term remains derogatory. Many try to reclaim those words to give it a different meaning but, the negative connotation remains the same. There are numerous examples but, none of wish I want to repeat because they are simply that rude still.

These days, it's pretty much just a nickname for people named 'Jackson' and, in Michael's case, it's used as derogatory term.

....I am expecting Xscape news next week. What it will be I do not know but, I know the Estate/Sony should say or release something next week!

In everyday life it may be a short form for Jackson or Jack but we're Michael fans, many of us decided to listen to him and respect his wish. The tabloid who coined that horrendous nickname knew it has a racist past, the rest of the media I bet they know but they decided it was catchy to use it.

It'd great if Xscape outsells all those performers they're gonna release new albums on May but if it's not possible, I'd be happy if it does well.

No way are those Invincible sessions. That may have been the last time Michael worked with Bruce that any of us are aware of. But it looks to me like it could be from a later date. Prince was with Michael during this jam session, look at the pics that he's in. He looks a lot older than he would have in these photos than he would during the Invincible recording time frame. Infact, if these are from the Invincible period, Prince would still be that blonde haired little boy running around in his light bright star wars shoes, possibly younger. In these photos he looks like the young man we've become familiar with post-Michael.

Yeah photo's 1-3, Prince is visible in all of them. No way are these Invincible sessions.

Awesome pictures Onir, thank you! Don't you think those are from 2003? I mean, Michael wore this very same shirt on his birthday party (if I'm not mistaken) in September and October for the charity event Light The Way For Lupus both from 2003.
Even he has similar hairdo to the pics posted previously.

Good find, Snow White..But why does Prince look so older than he would during that time period. If thats even really Prince like the author of the photo claims it is.


Michael's hair is even the same as it was in those pics you've posted and how it was in '03 as well. You can tell in the photo where he's leaning against the table and "Prince" seems to be talking to Bruce about something. Its blurry but you can see the curl at the ends of his hair. I'd say these are fom '03 also.

Lol ANDD in the last "KORE music" photo, Michael is wearing the same style sunglasses and color, as he is in the very last pic posted by Snow White. '03 for sure.

so if the last couple of albums are anything to go by we should be getting the first single next week, most prob mon or tue. I REALLY hope we do, they need to increase peoples excitement for this album and a single now would be the perfect way to do it. If I were them I would release Xscape has the first one.

I was privileged and honored for the past two days to attend an Xscape album listening party with 10 other MJ fans from around the world along with John Branca and L.A. Reid, Sylvia Rhone and many other Epic executives. What an amazing experience!! I'm bursting to share this album gave me chills, brought tears to my eyes! This is Michael through and through... I'll be writing a story for my blog very soon... Thank You Lord for continued blessing in my life and the wonderful new friends from Japan, Spain, Italy, Germany, UK, Netherlands.. and I know I'm missing a few countries... as well as the USA - Detroit, Boston and Calif...So amazing! All I can say right now is that this album is truly Michael's music and the LOVE, respect and excellence which was poured into producing it is revealed song by song. Truly a labor of LOVE

I just was busting to tell everyone!! Busting to share how INCREDIBLY AWESOME this album is!!! Lots of surprises... get ready for MAY!!! Do you remember the chills of listening to MJ's albums for the first time? Off The Wall... Thriller... Bad... Dangerous... I had those chills again!! His voice... the mixes... absolute bliss!

That feeling!! Only these are new mixes so it's like Michael is reaching out to us from beyond and continuing to share his genius. Superbly mixed!! Sooooooooo MJ!!

"Prince" isn't Prince Michael at all. It's the other guy apart of the "KORE Music "A" team"....Don't really know why he's tagged Prince Michael in the photos then.

Pretty sure it's Brad Buxer. The tags are incorrect.
