The remixed version of Xscape obviously isn't going to be on the album. If anything, it will be a remix release on the single.
Ladies and gentlemen, let's not forget that Michael posthumously used a sample of a previously released Notorious B.I.G. song in Unbreakable. Yes, Notorious worked on This Time Around, but Michael wasn't in the room. Michael walked in after he was done, listened to the rap twice, thanked Notorious, got a photo with him and left. That's it. You can't even really call them collaborators in that sense.
Also, Xscape is going to sample Changes. So what? Changes heavily sampled The Way It Is, a number one hit song from 1986. Samples are common in music.
Not gonna happen. If we do get studio footage it'll be compiled like a montage or will be short clips. They wouldn't release the full thing.

And I would understand it if a Biggie fan would be annoyed by that as well. There are a couple of important differences though, in that Biggie and MJ did work together before, Biggie admired MJ, Biggie's rap was taken from a relatively obscure and unsuccessful Shaquille O'Neal record rather than one of his own biggest hits (if MJ had sampled a verse from Hypnotize, for instance, people would have made a bigger deal out of it), one of the two parties was alive to make the decision, etc.
Sampling music is common, sampling vocals (entire verses) is not. And of course sampling can be done in a creative way, by taking elements and making them part of something entirely new. Sampling an entire verse of vocals from a major hit would be pretty cheap though. Again, not if an outside producer/dj/fan remixes it, but it would be if it was the version the Estate would release, imo.

Relax guys, it is just a remix. It WON'T BE on the album. On the album will be new version of the song and original version. If they include 2 Pac verse on one of the remixes on the single it's really not a big deal. Because it is just a remix.
Also in my opinion (for a remix) it's better to have 2 Pac verse than Pitbull.

Guys, i know I am guilty myself, and when news is slow its always good for some of us to give the Cascio stuff a dig in the ribs, but lets head forwards in this thread.
Here's a talking point, all the leaks we have from this album minus Xscape, were sourced from the Sony Servers it seems as at one point all the songs were on there. Also whilst I was on there I found Xscape but the leak we had for years, this shows that at least 6 of these songs were in contention and were being sent between Sony employee's and the Estate so this album could have been planned from before "Michael".

See I dont know, as the links were gone/dead by the time I got on there, I assumed Lossless Mixed down, except Xscape which was the leak downloaded from the internet and re-upped to Sony Servers by someone ha ha. But I can confirm "There was a number of unreleased Michael Jackson tracks" on there "Including, Slave To The Rhythm, A Place With no Name, Blue Gangsta, If You Don't love Me and Xscape". Notice IYDLM got name checked, maybe was considered for Michael or Xscape, also again confirms further the title Xscape over Escape as this statement I have was dated 2011.

Wow thanks for that never seen it. Only the first part. That just annoyed me he's dead all those compositions he could be working on right now, the greatest musical talent - gone. At least their is a wealth of unreleased videos that showcase his studio time, I hope.

Well I think we probably have the likes of "Sticky fingered" Cameramen/Editors etc to thank for some of this stuff, seems alot of folks make themselves copies of stuff (Who wouldn't), or after Michael passed people at TV stations rushed to the archives room, grabbed out all Beta Tapes with "MJ" on and made copies with Ebay in mind. There must be alot of footage of MJ in the studio out there as seen in small snippets we have been shown in specials, news etc. That small 2005 clip shown on TV turned out over an hour was filmed :/

It wasn't a two way system, you needed a client, username and password to use the Servers properly. We just got hold of links, which should have been blocked to us and google search engine xD and the amount of people who accessed the stuff unauthorized? 100's if not 1000's.

But you see, another point is how these songs were there being sent between Sony Employee's for contention, Maybe "Michael" was just a quick release, and to please those folks (Kravitz, Akon, Eddie) and others and just let them do the lag work on tracks and release it asap. Maybe the real focus was Xscape.

I believe the answer to whats going on with xscape os easy...
They underestimated the mj fan base and how much they dictate what sells.. its almost like thr mistakes with 'michael' was needed to give us (fan base) a reason to speak out of what we want and a reason for them to hear.. its obvious they heard us and are doing what it takes to make the album succeed.
Ad voiceless as some fans think we are, they heard us and we definitely influenced Xscape I hab no question of that!

After attending the exclusive VIP listening session hosted by Epic Records in NYC on April 8, VIBE Magazine Music Editor John Kennedy published an article detailing some fun facts he learned at the event. One of those facts was that L.A. Reid had revealed an alternate version of the song “Xscape” featuring a rap verse from Tupac.

“On the second playback of Xscape, after many of the attendees were already retrieving phones and bags from coat check, L.A. Reid unearthed a version of the title track with vocals from Tupac Shakur’s Changes,” reports Kennedy in the article. “And believe it or not, it was epic.”
This sparked widespread discussion and debate online, particularly on Jackson fan sites, regarding the pros and cons of the posthumously-crafted collaboration.
I reached out to Mr. Kennedy today for clarification regarding the track, asking him whether or not he knew if there were plans to include it on the album.
“According to Epic’s PR, Pac’s verse will not appear on ‘Xscape’,” he told me. “No word on whether it’ll ever come out.”
