I was long over due for a name change. I was gonna go with "Almost There" cuz I love that song....but I chose to get creative with the theme of the song and flipped it so that it appears that the song is speaking from first person rather than third. :blush:

Janet wanted to establish herself before working with her brother, it's hard enough being his his shadow so once the time was right she agreed and of course she wanted to have his back. i don't think michael had to beg her and i don't think janet felt like she HAD to do it, she wanted to do it.

That's pretty much what I vaguely recall hearing/reading from Janet herself in an interview some time back. She didn't want to people to think she was 'riding his coattails'. I remember that specifically because I thought to myself at the time that if they had duetted around Control/RN time that's exactly the kind of public and media backlash I would have expected.

I find it funny how you say you wont let ppl disrespect Mike, but it appears that you're taking your disliking of someone's opinion as disrespect. Just because you think Janet was more famous than Michael doesn't make it factual either. Janet with all due respect has never come close to Michael Jackson. Heck Michael was better during his rehearsals aged 50 than Janet has ever been in her entire life. Janet is a distant memory to people outside the USA. Whatever fame she had in Europe vanished. All she is known for is now being the little sis and someone who used to be successful. The worldwide sales of her past four albums combined don't add up to 10 mill. IF that is not lacking success, I don't know what is. LMAO
