What a Lovely Way to Go is one of the songs mentioned on the Mexico deposition from 1993.
 
What a twist!! Just when almost everyone thought there'd be nothing new. However, the title being 'Lovely' instead of 'Lonely' seems odd. :unsure:
 
Well I'll be fucking damned. An unheard song, my excitement for this album just doubled!!!

Is there anything known about the song? I vaguely remember it being mentioned on the 1993 deposition.

If this is the song and its just got leaked well don't anyone blame estate! I am getting brand new album and more because I have not listened or downloaded any of these tracks except obviously ones officially released.
 
You know if this is Mark Ronson track ppl who have heard this said it has Number one written all over it!

So I wonder... Are we getting mid 70's vocals or Thriller era vocals on this one?

I find it rather unlikely they've named the track wrong, maybe it had lyrics changed at some point?

Lovely vs Lonely would be completely different lyrics! One sounds sad and other happy. Have any lyrics leaked?
I hope it's lovely though which sounds like a nice hopeful song.

It's entirely possible they got the title wrong at the deposition I guess
 
Brilliant! It's exciting to have a new title and a song we don't know much about

I wonder if it's related to "What A Lonely Way To Go" that Mike names and sings under his breath here at 4.14

Maybe "Lovely Way" will be released this time? It was meant for Michael 2010 after Mark Robson mixed it. I haven't seen any concrete evidence of when it's from. Some say from Triumph sessions,, some say Thriller sessions.
