Michael Jackson’s New Song “This Is It” Leaked

They tried their best to keep it a secret until the new song was unveiled, but it appears – Sony themself have accidentally leaked the new Michael Jackson song “This Is It”.

A 43 second snippet has accidentally been leaked through Sony Music’s Japanese website, the new song appears to be a Jackson’s song recorded in 1980. The new snippet has already found its way onto YouTube –

With technology the way it is and people greedier than ever there is no way you can avoid things like this being leaked. Listening to the snippet makes me feel happy and sad at the same time. Mike, please come back :cry:
 
I LOVE TRIUMPH era Mike... I am stoked!!! His vocals were great during that time... Well during anytime... Damn listening to this gets me kinda choked up, man a divine miracle needs to happen and MJ comes back to us..

it's same as this one from 1991 by Safire, yes it was written by MJ - but it would actually piss me off if all this time we've been waiting is this song ~

There is no such thing as 'accidentally leaking a song'.......

Anyway, I'm feeling conflicted.....I hear the few seconds of this song and I'm loving it and at the same time I feel something is missing and that something is Mike.

because he originally wrote this song for SAFIRE, but sometimes artists also record their own versions....

just a thought...

anyways, i am a little bit let down tho, it's not as if something we have NEVER EVER heard of... i've heard that song many times before...

so, rather than 'a new song' by Michael, it's more like an old song sand by Michael... if you know what i mean...

sigh....

i did enjoy, and i still do, of course i do, i love his voice ~

but im just pissed that this whole time we've been waiting for the so called BRAND NEW SONG but it's more like an old song sang by Michael Jackson... u see....

some people can never be pleased. is a new song because we've never heard it. secondly, mj wrote and therefore it's mj's song.

i wonder want the tabloids will do if some fans are even doing this ?

yeah I agree with whatever his nickname is(wtf is wrong with your nickname :D)

anyways that's a big let down for me, we already know everything about this song but MJ voice, that's frustrating, first I was disappointed with it being recorded in the 80s and now that I knew it's not even something never been heard WTFFFFFFFFFFFF!!! if it was like that then why don't that damn company satisfy us with another song damn them a billion times.
 
Isn't it possible that this song IS actually This Is it, which was written in 1980 or whenever it was, recorded, then in 1991 MJ changed some of the lyrics slightly and the name of the song and gave it to Safire?
I don't think it's a coincidence that this song happens to include the lyric - 'This is it' when there was a song of that name written in 1980.

Why is nobody discussing the other senario....

Its very much possible that the Estate is not permissioning the release of New or Unreleased material to Phony....

It does not make sense to me.... Sony might have a few unreleased songs in their Vault but I dont think they can release them without a gohead from the Estate.

Think abt it if sony were free to release New/unreleased material without the Estate's approval the my guess is they wud have released an whole new Album within days of MJ's death to cash in the sympathy the world over..

I really like it! I can't say that I love it until I listen to the whole thing. But I am looking forward to Monday more than ever now!

I heard Safire's version. I am a little bummed that this song has been recorded by another artist and Sony is now saying that this is MJ's new single. But I guess we have to take what we can get for now. Reminds me of how he gave 'Fly Away' to Rebbie.
