That photo was lovely but even in my lifetime, dining cars were still kinda fab!Two ladies having a meal in a London & North Western Railway dining car, 1905.
Gosh! That photo was lovely but even in my lifetime, dining cars were still kinda fab!
This looks about 1980-ish to me.
Lovely chlothing on those armchairs!A Pullman carriage, North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Can't decide if it's 1960's or 1970's.
The image looks like a painting to me. More to the point, how did the train get up so high? Is that the Alps? Is this another mad train that goes almost vertical to get up the mountain?
Can this be real?
It is. The crockery looks very 1970's to me but the upholstery looks more 1960's.Lovely chlothing on those armchairs!
Oh, that's beautiful woodwork.
Kyushu, Japanese luxury train.
Looks like I'm wrong! Apparently the Pullman carriages were in use between 1920 and 1950.Lovely chlothing on those armchairs!
Yes, I think I know what you mean. The foliage on those aspens(?) doesn’t look quite right. I think it must be retouched. The image looks like a painting to me. Yes! Those trees def look somewhat artificial. The lighting inside the carriage is lovely, though.Yes, I think I know what you mean. The foliage on those aspens(?) doesn’t look quite right. I think it must be retouched.
I didn’t think too much about the mountains before you mentioned it!
It looks cosy. Very cosy, indeed!
Ooh! Seeing the Aurora Borealis from a train! Fab.
Golden Eagle: Trans-Siberian luxury train.
