The Last Person to Post in This Thread Wins

Was it good? I'm not really into films but I like Denzel. Sometimes I think I should give Training Day a go. It came out in 2001 so it's probably time! :ROFLMAO:
Yes, I saw it when it was released, but I tend to rewatch the movies I like from time to time. Denzel is incredible! Not just in Training Day, of course.

Ethan Hawke does a stellar job, too. Fine smaller roles of note are those of Scott Glenn, Raymond Barry, and Harris Yulin (“Mr Peasley”).

I really like the direction and screenplay of Training Day. It’s an all-in great experience, in my opinion.

Having a clear out, found a little item torn out of a newspaper:

"Several years ago I came across a list of how different European countries celebrated the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Rome [which founded the EU]. In Denmark, the government gave everyone a free bun; in Belgium, they had a concert fronted by Kim Wilde. And in Cyprus, they opened up the local EU office to sightseers ... The UK was the only country to do nothing."
