i wonder what it would have looked like if Michael was doing the show too, he was notorious for not turning up for appointments too.

...but as far as we know Michael also did not obligate himself to doing projects with his brothers.

Another great episode. Enjoyed it very much.

Loved seeing Tito having his moment to shine. He was always in the background playing the guitar. I remember he had a blues band and that he would also play with his Uncle Luther (Papa Joes's brother). This is the first time I heard him and his band jam--sounded great.

Loved it when Marlon was showing Tito's band and background singers that Jackson step he called 'shufflin' the funk' (LOL). All six Jackson brothers did that step at the MSG 30th anniversary show for Michael.

Amazing project Marlon is doing in Nigeria. It's funny when I heard about this from the media (who we can always count on for being jack-asses), they made jokes about it--at it was a shame alot of the jokes came from some black radio stations. But looking at the project on this episode there's alot more to this project than we have been told. Amazing.

When the brothers were in London and went to the O2--the VERY place where Michael was going to be making his comeback concerts--all I could do is say to myself, "Mike should be on that stage wowing the crowds." Before Michael died he excitedly told his brothers about how excellent those O2 concerts would be. The brothers were planning to see Michael there. I'm sure they would have been beaming with pride. Who knows? They may have given a surprise performance with Michael. Seeing Jackie going through all that Michael memorabilia and the look on all of the brother's faces, and seeing Jackie tearfully expressed to the Thriller Live performers what a great job they did. That was touching. Oh what could have and should have been! I can't help but feel sadness and anger. This was supposed to be Michael's year.

Loved seeing Gladys Knight. Pleasantly surprised to see Katherine; but I could tell, even though she stood up in the audience when Tito gave her a shout out, her face was expressionless. It's obvious she's still grieving over her baby.

People need to leave Jermaine alone. He's really not that bad of a guy--even though you may want to shake him sometimes. He's very talented. He just needs to be disciplined and focused. I even enjoyed seeing him in Mumbai, India. For those who are condemning him for not attending Tito's show, Jermaine told Tito point blank, he would not be able to make it due to scheduling conflicts. So it wasn't like Tito didn't know Jermaine wasn't coming.

my source is the reality documentary that ran on channel 4 about a year ago. tito and 2 of his sons came to england to hunt for a holiday home. katherine and jackie and a number of other Jacksons came too.l they rented a house in devon and were welcomed by the people there. Mj was sheduled to join them but the media swarmed the place. katherine phoned him up and told him not to come because he would have no privacy. However, Mj did send some of his memoranelia to be auctioned for charity and he phoned during a fan party, he spoke to his brother and his nephews and then he told the fans that he was working on music and he would see them real soon. the docu was called, The jacksons are coming.

Film-maker Jane Preston gained unprecedented access to one of the most famous families in showbiz and this intimate, surprising film is the result. She follows assorted members of the clan as they leave Hayvenhurst, the family enclave in LA, to search for a home in Appledore, a sleepy fishing village on the nor th Devon coast.
Why have they chosen such a laid-back place to relocate? How do the locals react to having them in their midst? And how will this unusual extended family behave far from home, and deal with the intense press interest aroused by their move?

Yeah, all bands/groups argue and fight from time to time. The Police members used to get into physical fights. But as Jackie said, other groups just break up and go away, but the Jacksons are family. I'm curious as to how the brothers worked together in the studio when they were actually a functioning group, or when they were doing all of those televison appearances in the 1970s.

i agree, and there is a lot of egos involved cause everyone wants to shine. i hope Jermaine and tito get a solo session with their instruments. i would love that cause they are both bad asses when it comes to the guitar and bass.

I do wonder whether there would have been a little stage appearance of the Jackson brothers because I remember in the BET documentary "Michael Jackson: Our Icon" when MJ's music director said MJ was asking the fans about the music they wanted to hear and MJ said he didn't know what to do because there was no J5 songs that most fans voted for.

I'm glad Marlon shared with the world what was really going on with his project in Africa, because the media was making jokes at it.

P.S. Does anybody know if it's online somewhere, I couldn't watch it on Sunday.

Actually Datsymay is right. I saw it on you tube. Tito, his sons, and I think Jackie went to Devon interested in buying a family home there. They were attracted to Devon because it was a very quiet town. The Jacksons and Katherine arrived in England and that guy Matt Fiddes (who claimed to be Michael's bodyguard even though he only worked for Michael ONE day) was the one who set them up in a media circus which is what the Jacksons DID NOT come for. And yes, Michael was on his way to meet them at Devon; but Katherine called him and told him not to come because it became nothing but a media circus. Matt Fiddes showed himself to be nothing but a wolf in sheep's clothing. He filed a lawsuit against Tito soon after that.

I heard the "phone call" also. It was at some fan party and he was speaking to the fans. I'd hardly call that participation. Not the type of participation that the producers would have hoped for, I'm sure.

But I guess having your more famous sibling's VOICE appear on your reality program, beats nothing at all.

Aside from Tito's club gigs, they all just put their talents on hold, waiting for Michael to make a move in their collective directions.

Some of you fans assume too much of Michael jackson. the man had a family that he loved very much. he said as much to Geraldo., he sad his FAMILY were his friends,he said that in 2005.
maybe the family were not waiting to go on stage at all. From the show I have been watching it appears that the brothers still needed a bit of persuading to go on stage. they seemed reluctant to me. So just maybe the talk about them waiting was a rumour just like anyother rumour surrounding Mj.
However, there was a note written by Mj himself where he said he wished to do an album with Jermaine, but Jermaine was too difficult to get hold of as he was always travelling.maybe Mj was more willing to work with his brothers than some fans wished him to be.
Didn't he say that he started with his brothers and he will finish with them, HIS OWN WORDS.l
