OMG - call me a hater if you will - but I've seen Morris Byrd & Time do a variation of this in "Jungle Love" - of course years AFTER the J5 did it.

But the all things Jackson and Prince related started with the Godfather of Soul, James Brown. Then the great-grandfather Cab Calloway, Fred Astaire cameo too!

You're not a hater. Michael has said countless times that James Brown was a huge influence. Jackie Wilson too.

I'm a Gen Xer as well by the way...

Well, that was Mj's choice and he has a right to that, but he also chose the chandlers and the aviros as friends, so I pass on that one. The jacksons do not celebrate christmas as far as I know.

During the trial when the jacksons were sytematically attacked by the media Mj put out a statement asking the media to respect his family. He wrote that he started with his brothers and he will end with them. I do not need to make things up. I have better things to do.

I meant hater, because there's always this awful pissing match between MJ & Prince fans.

And I certainly don't like them at all. But I've been accused of worse things.

BTW, I am a HUGE HUGE Prince fan as well, but there did exist a time when it was a crime to be both. How stupid, right?

I guess I still have PTSD over it.

I love Prince too, but I don't know most of his songs, i just have one album and a video.

They do have a Children's day where they give toys to the kids - without the X-mas stuff, but from what I know, the MJ3 will celebrate Xmas since dad always did with them.

Please oh please get Prince's Number ones. Like MJs, his number 1 series is phenomenal.

I have bought almost every album Prince put out (via Itunes) but I could never get a hold of his bootleg stuff he released to spite Warner's BS over the use of his own name & publishing rights.

MJ wasn't the only one who's warred with a major label.

I will just take your advice and get it.prince was my first love but I kind of lost interest in him when he changed his name. I will check for his number ones. i love purple rain, that used to be my favourite song.:D

Yes, I think we all remember when prince "The artist formerly known as and then the name ......&(the sign on his face)." I love prince music, I have a lot of his old music on records and tapes(I still listen to those). I also love the time as well.

Maybe someone can find that press release and post it to you. Mj complained about the disrespect the media was showing to his family. he asked that they be left alone and shown respect and he ended by saying he strted with them and he will end with them. i didn't make it up. lol

I think MJ & Prince were victims of the same thing with their respective labels. And they fought them and WON.

Both Michael and Prince have hundred million dollar catalogs & the most prominent recordings of the past 30-40 years.

Anyway - I'll get back on topic. I don't want to be cut down by a moddie.

For the very first time, I had the opportunity to view the Jackson Family Dynasty Program on A & E last night.

For those of you that don't know me...please note: It has always been about me just being me, I am honest, and have a pure heart.

Therefore, with that being said;

Jackie -I see the pops figure of the group, love your compassion, great sensitivity about the value of family.

Tito - Best wishes with your Blues Band, from what I heard, I see great success a head of you.

Marlon - I love your great sense of humor...Giggles~~~Kudos to You for all your heartfelt dedication in helping to educate the world about Africa as well as creating jobs for the people Africa.

Jermaine - It must have been extremely difficult for you to be seperated from your family...you had to do what you needed to do and the family had to do what they needed to do. Many moons ago my bestest friend told me once that "Everything in Life happens for a reason...Try not to beat yourself up so much..!" I know... easier said than done. As reality would have it we would not be who we are today if it were not for the choices we have to make.

Hats off to Mr.& Ms. Jackson and the Family for all their contributions. More importantly, for keeping this autobiographical program as real, as humanly possible, and maintaining that pure at heart.

So long as the Jackson Family continue to do so, I see absolutely NO reason why their reality program won't be as successful as the Ozzy Osborne and the Gene Simmons Family Jewels reality program.

I enjoy both.

There is something really likeable about him. If I ever meet em, I'm gonna give him a big old hug and a big wet kiss. lol!

Kinda off topic here, but do you think MJ's kids will celebrate Christmas this year? It's going to be extremely hard but I think harder if they don't *sigh*

LOL! The second episode was so much better than the first. It was so funny when they went purse shopping, especially when they they tried a purse on Jackie the teddy bear haha.

But Jermaine is soo embarrasing, I just can't wait for his cheesy act to move unto the next scene whenever he comes on. Sorry, he's adorable but annoying lol.
