The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

I can try to help edit this, but I’m not very familiar with Wikipedia- this might be a good project for the entire MJ community, especially since we’ve discussed the unreleased tracks so much on these forums- it’s time we make this info more accessible to the public!
So now some random asshole is saying that I copypasted the entire tracker into the wikipedia and called it a day. For 1, no I didnt, I edited it to be a bit different. and he listed that as copyright... bullshit

Yes, show me the copyright for a fanmade MJ tracker. 😂

This may have been discussed before, but what if some of us put together a dedicated fan site for this subject, in particular ? Somewhat in the vein of PrinceVault. I personally believe the Wiki pages will always be dumpster fires. Especially when any random person can say, "This song from 1876 has angry voice" or some off the wall (pun intended) shit.

I've kept some fairly extensive notes on MJ's recording history from Making Michael, Man In The Music, liner notes, etc. Still a lot of work to do, but it's a start.

This forum is supposed to be it.... Or at least a good way to get the facts straight.

It is a good Idea.

Is there more info on these songs from Boz Scaggs?

'Michael Jackson covered a couple of my songs, too,” Boz continues. “’What Can I Say’ and ‘We’re All Alone’ – It makes me feel fantastic. I think he’s the greatest, except for Diana Ross,” he says, his eyes lighting up and a smile breaking on his lips'

I wonder if someone else on here knows about them as well

For sure! I was thinking on also fixing the Lost media Wiki page.
A summary of the things I've done so far on the lost media wiki page:

- I took out "4 Tribes" because that's a remix of Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'

- Added the songs from the master tapes from gottahaverockandroll.com's crashed auction

- Fixed the description of Christmas Star

- Marked as "Unconfirmed Existence" the will.i.am tracks that are not "Still the King", "I Will Miss You" and "I'm Dreaming".

- I fixed the part of "Angel In Disguise", which is actually the demo "You Don't Love Me".

- I marked "Cheater 2001" as Unconfirmed Existence.

and some other minor corrections like the description of Son of Thriller and so on.

These are the only songs that I have doubts about, both in terms of information and veracity:

Attitude
A Deeper Love
All I Need
Angel
Bassouille
Belong 2
Bomb Detonation - According to the wiki, this song was made in Bahrain.
Dead or Alive
Destruction - According to the wiki, it was supposed to be another duet with Janet.
Do You Love Me
Do You Wan't Me
Easy
The Gloved One
Halloween Night - According to this wiki, this song "was recorded in 2004 and features Slash on the guitar solo".

Kick It
The Pain
Rich Girl - Is it true that Brad Buxer and Michael Prince confirmed that this song was recorded when Michael was with Lisa Marie Presley?

Remember this Night - Registered with ASCAP as a collaboration with Paul McCartney

Wonderful World of Candy - I know the song has basically become a meme in the community, but I wanted to know some real information about it.

Apart from that, I don't have any more questions, I guess.

Halloween Night I can confirm is fake, after searching for it on the U.S Copyright database I noticed that the work "Halloween Night" is credited to someone with a very similar name to MJ. This is almost 100% for sure where that rumor came from.

Remember This Night I've heard. It's not a collaboration with Paul at all lol. It's not even an MJ song.

# Easy

It's not a song, that's for sure.

# Wonderful World Of Candy

Damien Shields heard it. The song was worked with Nisha Katarina in 2003.

# Rich Girl

AlwaysThere posts

This title is real. The demo is advanced but not finalized.

Bill Bottrell on X:
This is me writing a song for M. to hear and think about.
The vocals are mine. There are no lyrics except the hooks. This is one way M. and I worked.
He didn't come back to Bahrain to sing it.

I can't imagine who could have leaked it.
I thought he posted the song on SoundCloud a few years ago. Didn't know it was a leak.

He did, not sure when but the earliest I could find is 2014
He deleted it from the Soundcloud though
