^ It's a fake. MJ's head on another one's body.

If it is false as most are saying... I'd love to see the original picture. It must exist somewhere. I can say it is a perfect forgery. :fear:

So why is it posted here? I don't understand why fans make up these things and pass them around without footnotes.

Problem solved: I deleted the picture to avoid unnecessary discussions. ;)

Michael and his fans ~ It is always good to read a fan's story of meeting Michael and of his interaction with them as in this story from Gessica Puglielli who met Michael in 1999 ~ "but Michael Jackson’s eyes had nothing in common with human eyes"

"It was late 1999 when I came to know Michael was planning to attend the 2000 World Music Awards in Monte-Carlo and receive the Artist of the Millennium Award. At that time I was the president of Child’s Heart, a fan club that was officially recognised by Michael and MJJ Productions and used to publish a full colour, glossy magazine distributed all over the Italian newstands. I was living in Rome then and Child’s Heart was based in Rome, so we planned to gather the fans and travel to Monte-Carlo to see Michael. Bob Jones was going to join him in his trip to Europe, so I knew there was a high possibility I was going to meet Michael.
My predictions turned out pretty much accurate.

The show was planned to be held on May 10th 2000 at the Sporting Club, but we arrived on the 8th so that we could get a glimpse of Michael. He arrived that same day, causing hysteria among the hundreds of fans waiting outside the Hotel de Paris. The next day, I had the chance to meet Bob Jones who had arrived in Monte-Carlo, too. He hugged me and told me to meet him in thirty minutes at the the entrance of the Hotel de Paris. I had with me a beautiful charcoal painting of Michael and his son Prince as a gift. I was waiting outside the hotel when Bob came and took me inside to meet Michael’s then-bodyguard Nagin. He introduced me and two friends who were with me as “dear friends from Rome.” “Treat them well and take them to Michael”, were his words, still echoing in my mind. Next thing I knew I was in the elevator with Nagin and my friends: destination Michael’s suite.

Once at the top floor, we were told to wait in the corridor. After some longer-than-usual minutes, we saw the door at the end of the corridor opening. Three Japanese fans came out of it and we could see Michael was there, waiting for us at the door. We were told we could walk towards him, now. When we approached the door, he slightly took a bow and welcomed us in the room. First thing I noticed was his kindness and you could sense his humility. Second thing I noticed was his perfume, very strong. For those who always ask, he was dressed in blank pants, black boots, white t-shirt, black jacket, red mask and a 3T baseball cap. He was taller than I expected, very handsome. In the first minutes he looked pretty much shy, we told him we were simply happy to meet him and that we thought he was in excellent shape and that we couldn’t wait to see him on stage. Of all the things I remember of that encounter, the one that I cherish most is the fact that I had the chance to watch him in his eyes in person. He had incredible eyes; don’t know whether it is because of his childhood, his past, his unusual life or his artistic soul, but Michael Jackson’s eyes had nothing in common with human eyes. They were shiny, deep and strong, like dark stones with a melting core. It’s difficult even to find the words to describe them.

After chatting for some minutes (he asked where we were coming from), I handed him our gift, the painting of him with his son Prince. He was incredibly touched, he started staring at it and looking closely, asking us who had done it, and thanking us like a hundred times. After that, he looked less and less shy, more relaxed. His voice was normal, deep, not high pitched at all. I then gave him the Child’s Heart magazines I had with me: he started checking them and at a certain point I found myself shoulder to shoulder with Michael, turning the pages of the magazine, with him telling me which one he liked most (it happened to be, of course, the issue where I wrote a comparative report between him and Charlie Chaplin). After the magazines, it was time for the photos.
I asked him if we could take some pictures together, he smiled and said “yes of course”. I went first, determined to hug him, which I did. I held him strong in my arms, I actually could feel he was slim but not fragile, on the contrary, he was quite toned. After taking the photo, I asked him for a kiss on the cheek, he hugged me and said “yes”. At that point I shifted the red mask he was wearing and while still hugging him I kissed him right under the ear on the jaw. I could see he was wearing the mask because he had little make up on and was unshaved, so he probably needed to cover the blotches on the skin.

After my two friends took their own photos with him, sadly it was time to say goodbye. We shook hands again, he thanked us, we thanked him, but it was time to leave. Outside there were our friends waiting for us, the media who knew we had just met Michael Jackson wanted to interview us but we declined.

It was undoubtedly one of the most incredible days in my life, having the chance to meet and talk to one of the most special beings that ever walked on this planet. A being who has changed the life of millions of people and, of course, mine. Thank you, Michael.

A young Michael and Randy chat to David Bowie in this early 70's photo. In later years Michael would see David Bowie in concert as in this backstage pic taken in 1983 at the LA Forum during Bowie's "Serious Moonlight" concert tour. In 1992 Bowie married supermodel Iman who in the same year appeared in Michael's 'Remember the Time' short film

Michael meets ~ US Gymnast Mary Lou Retton ~

Mary was the first US gymnast to win an all-around gold medal. At the 1984 Summer Olympics, held in Los Angeles, California, though recovering from recent knee surgery she won five medals, silver in the team competition and the horse vault, and bronze in the floor exercise and uneven bars and having to score 10 in the vault to win overall, she executed a perfect vault [twice] to win the Gold for the individual all-around competition.

''I guarantee you right now there's a concert going on up in heaven with Michael Jackson, Jackie Wilson, and James Brown,'' ''And though I wouldn't like to attend it right now, later on in my life, I think that will be a pretty good concert.''

For Ron Alexenburg, Michael Jackson will always be both a global superstar and the sweet teenager who used to play with his children on the floor of his Long Island home. "We met him at 16 and he would come to our home in Woodbury," recalled Alexenburg, the record executive who signed The Jackson's to Epic Records. "Even my children were very close with Michael. He came to our house. He played with their dolls. He sat with their toys. Janet rode a tricycle on our driveway." Michael and I sat and watched `Lady Sings the Blues' together and talked about what he wanted to accomplish. He always had the Jackson's in mind and he cared for his brothers and sisters, but he wanted to be an artist on his own. He was starting to become independent."

2009 ~ Though Alexenburg hadn't spoken with Jackson since July, when the King of Pop called to wish him a Happy Birthday, he was planning to reconnect with the entertainer next month at the superstar's scheduled run of 50 concerts at London's O2 Arena.
"This is like a president passing away," said Alexenburg, who lives in Port Jefferson Station and now heads the Alexenburg Entertainment Group. "We are lucky his music will last forever and his dancing - he was the modern-day Fred Astaire."

The shock of Jackson's death on Thursday hit Alexenburg hard, along with many of the Epic Records staff that worked with him. "He was such a cute little kid - never anybody but a kid really," he said. "At 50, he was still a kid."

Actually, it was Alexenburg's guidance that helped Jackson become a more grown-up artist, supporting him when he went solo to eventually record the smash album "Off the Wall."
"He told me he wanted to write and to be an artist," Alexenburg said. "He didn't want to be a puppet on a string singing."
The surge in record sales since Jackson's death should eliminate any debt he was facing, said Alexenburg, adding that his main concern is for Jackson's children and mother, Katherine. He also questioned the motives of many Jackson insiders, who didn't know the star well. "All these people are talking about how wonderful he was," he said. "Where were they a few years ago, when he was on trial and fighting for his existence?"

''I'm still thinking this is a big prank and he's gonna come up and get on TV and be like, 'April Fools!' I just don't believe it.'' ''I guarantee you right now there's a concert going on up in heaven with Michael Jackson, Jackie Wilson, and James Brown,'' says ex-CBS executive Ron Alexenburg. ''And though I wouldn't like to attend it right now, later on in my life, I think that will be a pretty good concert.''

Auction ~ [Jacket given to Ron's son Ari] ~A red leather J. Park Michael Jackson worn Beat-It jacket, with chain mail shoulder decoration and multiple zippered pockets. Park Collection/Genuine Leather/40", with a handwritten inscription "M. Alexenburg" in black ink. The jacket is signed on the back in black felt tip pen, "To Ari/Love Michael Jackson/1988". Another story from Brad Sundberg ~ Now, I thought I share a studio secret with you, and slightly pop the illusion of how cool and pull-together you might think we were. I'm going to take you to recording school for a few minutes, but I think you might enjoy it.

To fully understand this post, you really need to have a friend who will do a test with you. I'll wait till you find someone...

I'm still waiting... are you ready? OK, good.

Now, ask your friend to stand next to you, close to your ear, and speak at a normal volume. If you have no friends, I feel sorry for you, but you can put your hand in front of your mouth for the same effect. Now, have them say words like Popcorn, Purple, Pink, Pluto... and so on. Feel that burst of air coming out of their mouth when they say "P" sounds? (OK, tell them they can stop... it's annoying now.)

Now, imagine a singer (say, Michael Jackson for example), singing phrases like "Hey pretty baby with the high heels on..." or "PYT" or "Someone put your hand out..." and so on. When the singer hit's that "P" sound at full throttle, the microphone is going to sound like it is outside in a windstorm. Microphones do not like wind... or "P" sounds.

So long ago, someone in a studio discovered that if you take a coat hanger (I am not making this up), and form it into a circle, you can stretch a pair of panty-hose over it. I have no idea why there were panty hose laying around a studio, but I am just passing on the story, as if we were sitting around a campfire. Anyway, once the panty hose are on this hoop, if you talk or sing through it, the "Pop" is absorbed, but the sound go through without a problem. Pretty cool...

>>Craft time: find an old coat hanger and a pair of panty hose, and build your own pop filter. If your friend is still around, have them repeat the experiment, holding the pop filter in front of their mouth and saying Popcorn, Purple, etc. Huge difference, right?

The thread is for rare pictures not fakes. I think you should've opened a new thread clearing those up and maybe more people would contribute.
