MJ @ CARIBOU Ranch 1984
Michael spent a week at Caribou Ranch, Colorado, Rocky Mountains in 1984 during a break from the Victory Tour after performing in Denver. It is said that he climbed every mountain, the highest: 10,000 feet, on the 75,000-acre Caribou Ranch. It is also quoted that he recorded some of his Thriller(note: this must be Bad, of course) work there, but it has not been verified.
Caribou Ranch was a recording studio built by producer James William Guercio in 1972 in Nederland, Rocky Mountains Caribou. Many famous names of the 70/80's recorded some of the most popular albums at Caribou. The studio was in operation until it was damaged in a fire in March 1985.
From these photos Michael had a relaxing break from touring.
