Pet Peeves

What the hell is your problem?

Just so you guys at MJJC know, this is the person who told me on msn that the whole fanclub is immature and she is glad to leave MJJC (you can see she hasn't).

^ (I wouldn't have said that if you didn't bring up other things and so what if I'm 16 and you are in your 20s? Being older doesn't mean you have common sense.)

Here's the thing Tempany, if you hate the Michael Jackson fan community so much then just leave. Ok? Just go admire that...(I don't know, what does he do?)...Michael Jackson/Gothic/Impersonator guy.

Going out on a really rainy day and then the nesxt day, when it's sunny as hell, you have nothing planned.

I really can't stand snobby rock music fans. You know the type who who only listens to rock and puts down any other style of music claiming that it sucks. If you only want to listen to rock that's ok but i just hate it when these people have to put down other styles of music as well.

:clapping: To Agent M!

Construction that never fails and always seems to have the street or exit you need to use blocked off. They even had the gas station blocked off! Let people just run out of gas in the middle of the road you :nono: bad road construction workers.

also People who think that self service gas stations are good place for parking. They leave their cars just near the self service and you stuck there and cant fuel your car..it freaks me out. move your friggin car! lol I mean they do everything except of fueling their cars, they go to the local store and leave their cars just near the self service! why?

People who judge you or your race based on stereotypes.

totally agree.

and that brings something else to mind..

people who make judgements based on media rants and the perceived 'court of public opinion', rather than hard dna or similar evidence. life and death decisions, these days, are being made, just because somebody feels like something is true, rather than them gathering hard evidence that it's true. a lot of athletes and others are having their livelihoods taken away from them, based on decisions without evidence. if people can go through the painstaking process of remembering the idea of dna evidence, when it comes to determining whether or not Elvis is alive, then, those people should use that effort on everyday life and death matters.

There's a new cleaning lady in the office and she loads all the toilet paper with the sheets hanging under. This is just wrong. It's driving me nuts.

Money. It's just paper and metal that somebody claims is worth something. The concept of money is stupid to me. The same goes for gold, diamonds, rubies, and other rocks.

I agree. It's paper with a stupid number on it.

When people say the word ''hot'' to describe something that's popular.

EG - ''Will i am is one the hottest producers working today''

That's a slang that needs to die

Unfortunately, the world is set up that you have to live with it. People do things to get it that they don't want to do. Working at a job to get money (and then to pay to do so with an income tax) is just glorified slavery to me. It doesn't have any logic to it. There's banks with armed security and steel safes just for stacks of cut paper with pictures of people and freemason symbols on it. Then there are people who spend a lot of time to "counterfeit" the currency. I don't get it. Most of the world's problems has money behind it somewhere.

totally agree with every word in this post, except that people do what they don't want to for money. they want to if money is involved. doctors will base diagnoses on whether or not they can make money off of you.

Those in a good position in life choosing not to help those who are not.

true. very true. but then there is the balancing act of dealing with people who have the opportunity to be in a good position, and choose not to be, but just leech on those in good positions.

I don't think people actually want to be a "fry technician" at Burger King, pick fruit while breathing in pesticides all day for under the table pay because they're a so-called "illegal alien", be a child sex slave, scrub toilets, join the military, or sell heroin while watching out for the cops. I doubt many people would do these kinds of jobs for fun or enjoyment. Like the O'Jays sang, the small piece of paper carries a lot of weight.

i haven't done anything i don't want to, or am unable to do, just because of money. and i know there are other people out there who feel the same. if people would risk dying for money, then that's what they want to do. there's always another way. if you're willing to receive food, clothing and shelter, and not worry about what people say about you, you can live. you might not see actual money, but a person can live without it. the show 'fear factor' is proof that people will convince themselves to WANT to do what ever it takes to get money. let me cause a lot of heads to explode with this next statement. saving money is wrong. you're supposed ot spend it. you'll be amazed at how people will take away many necessary comforts just to hide money under a pillow. MJ had the spend attitude, and was practically called the devil because of it. think about it. what is the purpose for saving money? what are you going to do with it, while you hold it? eventually there will be a reason to spend it. so if you spend it for charity, you get back so much more. if you're willing to put the dollar in the vending machine to quench your thirst, you help your health, but you are out a dollar. if you keep the dollar, you sacrifice your health. that's really the gist of it. the OJays and MJ and others who sang similar sentiments, are correct. but people do want to do the things they hate, if money is involved. they know there are other ways to live. even if you want to live comfortably, if much money comes in, you still have to part from that money to live comfortably. a lot of people hat that notion. if you are willing to part with money, the only thing you will suffer, is humiliation at the hands of other people who love money for the sake of itself. that humiliation is ok, and better than being those who do the humiliating.

TVs where the 4:3 image is stretched out to 16:9 so all the people look like they have football heads. How can people think that looks good?

There wouldn't have been a "Michael Jackson" if Joseph didn't want to get out of the steel mills, where he didn't like working. Joe wanted to perform himself, and did gigs with his brothers as The Falcons. The Falcons weren't making any money, so Joe had to work in the steel mills to provide for his family. Joe's dream was to be a singer, not to work in a factory. So he did something he didn't want to do to make money. Do you really think that Joe's sons wanted to be waken up in the middle of the night to play background music for strippers? Joe had his sons perform in the chance they might get discovered and get out of the hood. Sure people can get away without money if they're living in a hut in the jungle and live off the land, that is until developers decide they want to use the land and kick them off.

we really don't know the what if's concerning Michael. he made it because of his talent. you can't credit anything else but his talent. Moreover, the God who gave it to him. so that skewing doesn't justify loving money. but i really don't want to go down that path in argument, cus it gets us nowhere. so i'm not going to continue with it. suffice it to say, i have lived without money and it wasn't a jungle setting, nor in my parents' house. but i can see i was right about the humiliation talk.

Talent has nothing to do with being a success. Lots of people have talent and don't make it, and lots of people with no talent make it big. If talent is all it took, why didn't the Jacksons just remain at Motown? If Mike could make it on talent alone, there was no reason to leave and go to CBS. As a matter of fact the brothers could have just remained on Steeltown Records and made it.

- waxing every month
- people who does certain things to fit in..
- the music today ..
- how MTV doesn't play music videos anymore

if i have to tell you how special Michael was, and what a standout he was, then there's no use to me talking about this at all. yeah..a lot of people have talent, but MJ was in a class by himself. period. the reality is, i was willing to buy MJ, after seeing him on youtube. i wasn't willing to do that with any other musician. MJ was there to see for free, and i still wanted to buy his music. so did a LOT of people. what MJ had..that special x factor is what did for him. nothing else.

None of that matters, because had the J5 had just remained on Steeltown, you never would have heard of Michael, just like all of the other obscure acts that were on low budget local labels with no distribution power or payola money for radio stations. You can't seriously think if the J5 were just a Steeltown act and never went beyond that, they would be known today. Or if they had remained on Motown and never went to CBS, they would just be an oldies act like most of Motown's other acts like The Marvelettes and Mary Wells. Even Michael said himself that he was worried about becoming an oldies act, if the group remained on Motown. CBS was thinking about dropping the group after it's 1st two albums didn't do much.

When people move to another country for a better life and achieve their goal...but hate on the country they live in.

Urgh!
