I hate when people don't know how to stand on a line (for coffee, groceries, the bus or whatever) and they ambivalently stand a little off the line so that you can't tell if they are on the line or not. Hello, they call it a "line" and not a "square" for a reason. I guess we need courses in standing on line in this country (or maybe this behavior is exclusive to NYC).

I was reminded of a pet peeve while working in my studio today....and that is, tubes of glue that clog up after the first freaking use so that you can't use it again, even though you try for half an hour to get the stupid glue to come out of the tube, but all you end up doing is making it ooze out the sides so bad that you have to throw the $4 tube of glue in the trash. WTF?! They can make phones that let you take pictures, surf the web, scan barcodes, buy plane tickets....but they can't make a tube of freaking glue that will not clog after one use?! URGH.
