Official track list of bad 25th anniversary special edition is unveiled

For me, it will be the unreleased songs. Going to blast them on my speakers while sitting in the middle of the room, 5.1 surround. Hardest part is to whether wait for the release or the leak...............

I know it may be hard but you MUST wait for the release and not go the easy way ;)
Unboxing will be a real pleasure, and bring memories from your good old days where you were a kid discovering what Santa left under the Christmas tree.
You will enjoy reading the booklets while listening to the demos/news songs.
And then you will dance to the wembley concert playing loud on your 5.1 speakers and cherish this moment you have been long waiting for, like all of us.

Do not miss this one time opportunity or you will regret it.

May the force be with you ;)

LOL I'm 23 and while I know who pitbull is I wish I didn't. I hate todays music, I'm all about oldschool!

Has anyone ordered the jacket yet? I'm so lucky that it's tax time here so I'lll be ordering the box and the jacket in the next couple of weeks when I get my money back!

I really hope they start promotions here in Australia soon, we didn't get the Pepsi cans here so no one here knows this is all happening!

well I can only speak for myself...I haven't ordered the jacket...to expensive for me..I need to save my money for the release of Bad25...tax time here in the US runs from January-April. I am SOO happy for you though that you will soon be the proud owner of both..:)

I'm 17 and music from 60's 70's 80's will be the best and Michael's later songs of course

People keep saying here that they finally gave what the fans wanted. But i wonder what that is. The Bad Tour DVD, ok definitely that one. But what else? It was to be expected that they'd give us some unreleased songs, so exactly what else are they giving that we wanted so bad? Just curious, cause i honestly don't know.

We wanted so bad unrealeased songs and they gave them to us, so that counts. We wanted studio footage and the doc with alternate takes of twymmf video shows it might go on that direction..hd audio of the tour..we asked them to include twymmf performance and we get it as a bonus. I think thats it

Just checked, it was 2nd best sellng album the week of release, but billboard rules were diffenrent so it was in the catalogue charts. But now they've changed the rules, bad25 can enter the billboard 200. It'll be interesting to compare the sales perf of bad25 to thriller25.
I believe Bad25 will do better than T25! Because it is such a great package, because there is a DVD, because the Michael nostalgia still is incredible.
And while I'm at it, I must express my deepest DISGUST at the way Billboard has cheated Michael out of so many great positions on the charts because of this STUPID and UNJUST rule that older releases couldn't chart even if they sold better then new releases. If it wasn't for this STUPID rule, Michael would have an incredible chart topping period in 2009!!!!!!!

Please don't forget the Live CD, which kind of is a one off for Michael!!!
I will probably be listening to that CD untill it evaporizes!!!

Since I don't really physically use CD's anymore to listen to music, it won't be no thing to for me to just rip the audio of TWYMMF and the band interlude and stick them in between the appropriate places, and change track numbers for the MP3 copy :D

AGREE. I will do the same. : D

Well, one of the big things for me is that they specifically stated that NOTHING WAS TOUCHED in regards to unreleased songs and demos...

I think they've been listening ;)

I wanna buy the briefcase edition but its so fuckin expensive yo.

There was no need to include Fly Away, Streetwalker and Todo mi amor eres tu since they were included at the BAD Special Edition!

As for the Pitbull remix...

:puke:

I dont understand how they are going to get all the live songs onto one CD? Surely they wouldn't all fit on the CD. And it doesn't say anything anywhere about it being a double disk.

Yeah. Even cutting out TWYMMF (and obviously not having band interlude), and pauses between songs, there's still over 20 minutes that won't fit on an 80 minute CD.
I think maybe they'll be editing some of the tracks down. It's the only way it's gonna fit.

I think there are plenty of reasons to include those songs.

1. Some people buying Bad 25 won't have the special edition.
2. If they didn't include those songs, there is no guarantee we would get something better in their place. We might get more remixes or maybe just a shorter CD.
3. For the sake of having a complete set. I thing they should have included Cheater also. Any song that has already been released and was from the Bad era should have been included.

Here is why we are complaining(or may be it is just me :D).....well,we asked for unheard songs, less remixes and bad tour on DVD(some of us said Blu-ray) and they did that, but they allowed 2 remixes to take 3 places and some already released songs to be on CD2...they are acting like they don't want to release new songs and at same time they want to please us to make us forget the scandal of Michael album (which we aren't forgetting).......plus the horrible excuse of why releasing a DVD instead of Blu-Ray........ Somehow i am feeling i am being tricked!!!!!!

Do you guys think that TWYMMF will be from the London shows, or an other venue?

You're correct, they don't want to release many unreleased songs and that's absolutely the right move for them to make. MJ is gone and cannot record new material, so releasing it all now would be pure stupidity. This is why I always say the Estate should NOT listen too much to the fan base. If they did they would shoot themselves in the foot. The Estate need to prolong MJ's legacy - that means release only a few new songs at a time over a looong period. Decades. It means release MJ remixes to both fill space on CD releases and to hopefully attract a new audience to expand the fan base, rather than rely on the existing fan base. you are not being tricked, it's just the way business needs to be conducted.
Seriously there is no point in releasing the concert on BluRay because the picture will not be anywhere near BluRay quality since it's taken from an old VHS tape. Even with the world's best enhancement techniques it would never be anywhere near BluRay quality. It's impossible. We'll be lucky if it's even near the quality of a new VHS due to its age. If people were to buy it on BluRay, paying BluRay prices which are higher than DVD prices, they would certainly be annoyed and that would just be negative press for the product and MJ Estate. They're correct to only release it on DVD IMO.

I absolutely agree with your post. In order to keep Michael's legacy alive decades to come, this is exactly right thing to do.
Elvis' estate has done good job, they are still releasing stuff, even Elvis' being death over 30 years. Michael's estate needs to do similar things and not to go over board with releasing all songs in one bulk.

About existing fan base, we are not here forever to carry on Michael's legacy. Newbies for Michael are needed:)

RCA / BMG / SONY has released a lot hits packages of Elvis in the past. I think the biggest different is Elvis Presley mostly recorded the tracks with a complete liveband once in the studio. So you got different takes of recordings. If one of the members fails or something else went wrong they have to play the song again, while the TAPE is still recording. I don't know how J5 recordings were done, but when MJ's records start to use computer sounds or working with the computer as editing & mixing we have to take back to demo's only. I don't think they saved the multitrack project from all 90's - 2000's tracks everytiome they changed a detail or more.

I don't know much about Elvis as I'm no fan, but I just took him as comparison how to keep ones legacy alive/going for decades.

Cutting out pauses, interludes, cutting out verses and such. Shortening songs A LOT.
You guys can check out Queen's Live Magic CD to catch a glimpse of what editing a live CD means.

Please people wait & hear what they have done in editing before judging or spreading things that may not be true.....

Approximately 2 hour concert shrinked to 80 minutes at best. Obviously songs are gonna be cut and shortened.
