About existing fan base, we are not here forever to carry on Michael's legacy. Newbies for Michael are needed
They will probably cut out stuff like the end of Billie Jean when he's just dancing, and the end of Man In The Mirror when the band keeps playing after he leaves the stage, and so on.
You're correct, they don't want to release many unreleased songs and that's absolutely the right move for them to make. MJ is gone and cannot record new material, so releasing it all now would be pure stupidity. This is why I always say the Estate should NOT listen too much to the fan base. If they did they would shoot themselves in the foot. The Estate need to prolong MJ's legacy - that means release only a few new songs at a time over a looong period. Decades. It means release MJ remixes to both fill space on CD releases and to hopefully attract a new audience to expand the fan base, rather than rely on the existing fan base. you are not being tricked, it's just the way business needs to be conducted.
Seriously there is no point in releasing the concert on BluRay because the picture will not be anywhere near BluRay quality since it's taken from an old VHS tape. Even with the world's best enhancement techniques it would never be anywhere near BluRay quality. It's impossible. We'll be lucky if it's even near the quality of a new VHS due to its age. If people were to buy it on BluRay, paying BluRay prices which are higher than DVD prices, they would certainly be annoyed and that would just be negative press for the product and MJ Estate. They're correct to only release it on DVD IMO.
Things they'll probably cut/edit from the live CD
The pause in the middle of Wanna Be Startin Somethin
The long pause of Michael crying during She's Out Of My Life and I'll Be There
The ''My footsteps broke the silence of the predawn hours'' intro on Smooth Criminal
Dirty Diana will probably be edited
The pauses during Working Day And Night
The final dance part of Beat It
The final dance part of Billie Jean
The outro on Bad
The outro on Man In The Mirror

1. The Way You Make Me Feel (Performed at Wembley the previous night, July 15, 1988)
2. I Just Can’t Stop Loving You/Bad (Performed at Yokohama Stadium, September, 1987)
Does anyone know if the song Bad is gonna have MJ bringing out the kids at the end of the song ?

Live CD is redundant.

No. That never happened until the end of the tour.
So y'all will think nothing of it when Bad 40th anniversary comes out with all the same songs all over again and 6 new songs? You'll happily plonk down another $45 for all those songs you own a hundred times over and a few new crumbs? Just asking.
And you don't need remixes to "attract new fans". I've never been drawn to an artist from the past by any remix. It's always been the artists original work that won me over. If the artist is good enough, you don't need a remix because they most likely did it right the first time ;D
