Official track list of bad 25th anniversary special edition is unveiled

My order will be opening the BAD brief case when I get it and enjoy what is suppose to be in it, if it's what I expect it to be? Then I will put on Disc 2 and hear it all the way through. I'm sure I will play back the demo's 2 or 3 times cause I just love MJ demos. Then I will watch the DVD concert, extra's last. And finally after I will hear the Live DVD. Then the next day same routine until I wear the crap out of this like I usually do all my MJ goodies! lol :p

LOL I'm 23 and while I know who pitbull is I wish I didn't. I hate todays music, I'm all about oldschool!

Has anyone ordered the jacket yet? I'm so lucky that it's tax time here so I'lll be ordering the box and the jacket in the next couple of weeks when I get my money back!

I really hope they start promotions here in Australia soon, we didn't get the Pepsi cans here so no one here knows this is all happening!

I definitely agree with you! I think they should've replaced Streetwalker with Cheater. Cheater is one of my favourite songs and Streetwalker has been released SO MANY times! (i still really like it though XD)

EVERYONE READ THIS....geez. I know some of you are complaining about unreleased songs etc. Well its time for my two cents. A lot if Bad tracks were reworked in the Invincible era. It makes sense not to include them, because then they will be new in future releases. Cheater was allready released in 2004, and there's a 2001 Cheater (makes sense not to include it). They don't have.a lot of releasable stuff, and spoiling most of the surprise now by releasing earlier versions isn't good. I for one would rather hear what he last worked on, then the demos to the.songs he worked on in 2001. And remixes aren't bad, but they are needed. With the 2001, and remix tracks on here they reduced the number of remixes, but were able to to save enough Bad material for future repackagings, and new albums.
 
We will never be satisfied, i know that so I am very happy with this amazing project, including unreleased tracks, a whole new concert at his best and 3 remixes for the young generation ;) Pitbull is very popular, and so is Afrojack in the house/electro scene, and Nero in the Dubsptep scene ;)

Best Release, and in a few months we also get a nice documentation about the Bad Album :D Unbelievable!
Be happy with the things you get! :)
 
Is it me or no major music press has picked up the track list story?

The estate will have to do things differently ...they've lost the great momentum because of the recent scandal.

If this doesn't get great press coverage, I don't how it will be successful.

Only Musicweek has picked this up so far

She was against the project earlier... so i guess she now has a change of heart. Probably money did the trick. JMO
 
I hope people aren't expecting this to go to number 1 on Billboard or anything. That's a little unrealistic for a re-issue like this. I expect it to do well, but within reason.

How could she be against any projects as she is/was part of Forever Dangerous MJ tribute act earlier this year? Maybe she changed her mind and thought she might have spoken too hastily.

I'm going to watch the Wembley concert first. It is the main thing of the Bad 25 for me. Can't wait! :)
 
For me, it will be the unreleased songs. Going to blast them on my speakers while sitting in the middle of the room, 5.1 surround. Hardest part is to whether wait for the release or the leak...............

I would almost say that if you're going to be overly tempted by the inevitable leak, just listen to the songs that we've heard of before i.e. Al Capone and Price of Fame. Let the other songs be a complete surprise.

I think they should have included ALL Bad era songs those have already been released - so both Streetwalker and Cheater. Of course, additionally to the new, so far unreleased tracks. It's just a minor thing, but it would have been nice to have them all in one boxset.
 
I'm not listening to a leak, I always said when a decent release is done, I'll wait. We got 'Michael' and that sucked so I didn't wait,same with immortal. This is the first real release from Sony/Estate that in years to come we can look back on and think, 'Yeah, they did good.'

Lol. I always wonder don't the band have any footage at all? Wouldint they want the memories of seeing them perform? I'm not understanding. I mean she should have all the footage we have
 
If the band reunion isn't filmed they will really be missing a trick. A chance for them all to get together and share their memories of the tour...needs to be used as an extra on perhaps the spike lee documentary when it receives a DVD release.

If it ain't worth listening to, then why hasn't it leaked? Because it would have been interesting to hear how TWYMMF have evolved from that demo. Oh well, maybe they are saving Hot Fever and other BAD era songs for future releases.
 
Looked at the tracklisting when it came out yesterday. I'm most looking forward to the DVD of the concert, thank god it's not a vhs tape where u get lines through it when u play it over and over again- because that's what I intend on doing, this might not leave my dvd player for a few months lol 40 days until it's released? woop woop, looking forward to the new demos/songs, I just see those as extras not really the main pull. The remixes should hopefully do the job of bringing younger people's eyes towards the release. The documentary and these remixes could work quite well together.

Just checked, it was 2nd best sellng album the week of release, but billboard rules were diffenrent so it was in the catalogue charts. But now they've changed the rules, bad25 can enter the billboard 200. It'll be interesting to compare the sales perf of bad25 to thriller25.

This would actually be a great idea! But they won't do it...
Hopefully Spike Lee got them together. I only know of Sheryl Crowe.
Would be nice to see the whole band and dancers together now.

Prolly 'cause she knew it was going to look horrible, being sourced from a VHS :D
