The difference is there are many cancelled shows as a fact and I think there is also no new album in the pipeline.

God I hope if this tour don't happen we don't get even more suspicious and crappy projects involving Michaels name again? But, then again they were already doin that with this tour by wanting to sing MJ solo hits aswell. -_-

I'm no fan of them but I hope this tour happens for sake of Michael and his kids.
The last thing I want to see is that they have asked kids to appear on stage.

Well they've had more than 20 years to work on this album, not to mention we've actually SEEN them in the recording studio in their reality show. Whatever, I'm just excited that I will be actually able to see the brothers doing what they do best and actually releasing a new album, which I never expected at all. I'm still very excited. :)

11 concerts cancelled, thats almost half the original concerts! I thought the original numbers were somewhat overambitious, given the fact that they haven't toured for 30 years.

It seems to me that the former spokesperson for Jacksons was onto something when he said that he cannot see the tour happening.
I don't believe a one minute that they would cancel any concerts because they want to finish the album, reason for cancellations is something else.

All I'm saying is I'm glad I got to see them WITH Michael, because I sure as hell wouldn't spend my money on this "tour".

The tour seems ify,But I have tickets to see them in New Jersey,and that concert isn't cancelled,Does anyone know the set list or anything about this tour cause I know nothing and I'm going to it and I wanna know what I'm at least seeing,all this information sounds strange and bad,Starting to have doubts. I didn't know any shows were cancelled. Are they gonna have more shows are anything?

Is it not strange? Piers Morgan says they have announced 3 shows and the brothers doesn`t correct him that there is a tour-list in the near of 30 shows.

Yes that review was so mean spirited. The thing is he wants them to fail and there seems to be some personal vindictiveness in that review. Has this guy had a falling out with the Jacksons? I know we all said they lack unity; they waited too long; they need good planning and management; they need a good lead singer; etc. However, that former spokesperson is too nasty. Maybe if he was the current spokesperson, things would be different.

Looks like more shows have indeed been cancelled.

Maybe they should have started out on a smaller scale and then added more shows. In my opinion, if you do a FEW shows, and those shows turn out to be outstanding, then and only then would you gradually add more shows to your schedule. Especially for artist like the Jacksons who are presenting a NEW group model.

If the shows are good, word will spread. If not, well that word will spread as well.

Are you serious? As much as we criticize the family, I find this sad.

You're right when you say they clearly went about this tour the wrong way. Something's wrong when tribute groups can pull in crowds, but original members of an iconic group can't.

I hear ya!

I "think" one of their major problems is that folks just don't know who they are WITHOUT Michael and they certainly didn't attempt to show anybody who they COULD be without Michael.

The only time we ever heard from them, especially Jermaine, was when they or he would "claim" that they are either in the studio recording new music WITH Michael, or that they would be performing together again WITH Michael.

^^True it is sad that more shows are cancelled, but again part of this is due to a lack of good managers/planners who could advise them about the best course to take. Who was the person who scheduled all these dates knowing they were dealing with a 70s/80s band. Even the great Michael Jackson began with a few shows and more were added. Maybe it would have been best for them to simply have one show in a major city.

Oh dear. Didn't they know before booking that they had to put on the best possible performance? I mean that is a given, so why would that make them suddenly cancel shows. Sometimes I wonder who writes these things.

Some dates? They announced 27 dates, now Ticket master shows only 13 dates and their own website shows 16 dates. That is nearly half cancelled due scheduling conflicts? Whether it is due lack of sales, scheduling conflicts or wanting to finish their album but this is not the way get on back on track. You would think that group that have been in the business so long would know show business like back of their hand but obviously they have no clue. It is not really great start for their comeback, disappoint their fans by cancelling concerts for starters?

I don't know if they are out of touch with reality or what is problem with them? They DO have to work hard to get back in music business, just like everybody else who has been out of it so many years. They cannot go on relaying Michael's songs or using his image trying to pull crowds in their concerts.

Brothers, especially Jermaine says that Jackson 5 launched Michael's solo career. I peg a difference, Michael launched Jackson 5, as well as his own solo career. They know it, but refused to look the facts.
I just watched one documentary of Michael (BBC tribute to Michael from 2009), LaToya said in it that Michael was natural born leader (that is the only sensible thing to come out of her mouth for years). They don't seem to get back on track without Michael, they need someone to tell them what to do.

I called the box office and they confirmed that the charlotte concert is indeed cancelled :(

"Saw the brothers on The Insider last night with Kevin Frazier. Apparently the first show is now scheduled for June 28th at the Apollo ans is a sold out show."

"They didn't talk about much. Kevin pretended like he was performing with them as the "5th member." They showed all of them rehearsing (dancing and singing) with the band and 3 background female singers. Kevin, of course, asked Jermaine about paying tribute to Michael and he would say they would pay homage to Michael, but it wasn't exactly clear how. He said that the brothers touring and performing together was healing for them since they are still in mourning."

And the first show Apollo??? That woud mean more show`s are cancelled?
