Hopefully that new technology is too expensive for them to use throughout the tour. Many will remember that during the Victory tour on the last night in LA, the brothers were singing away and then when Michael's voice was heard the whole crowd began screaming more than ever. It would be embarrassing for a projection of a human to gain more applause than actual humans on a stage.

If done well, this tour and year in general can be very good for the brothers

With this tour and looks like they've signed a new deal with Motown, they can do a number of things:

-Work with Motown to release a 2CD compilation that includes the hits and rarities:

-make an appearance on either X Factor USA or American Idol
-give the compilation to those who buy a ticket to the show, similar to what Prince has done and what Madonna is apparently doing
-have the brothers perform at the upcoming BET Awards


At least, that's how I would handle this "comeback" if I was them and their team lol

Seemingly Cirque is planning MJ hologram/3D thing for their permanent show in Vegas so I doubt that estate gives them a permission.
The Immortal is 50/50% costs/profit show between estate and cirques. I think Cirque has something to say too if Jacksons are planning to do hologram of Michael, that is money off their pocket as well as Michael's beneficiaries.

All that hologram talk is BS and only to stir interest in their concerts. They knew tickets weren't selling too great, so perhaps talks of Michael joining them in concert will do the job? Bingo! They are in the news again, but only because of Michael's name and the possibility of a Michael hologram amidst the media surrounding the recent one of Tupac.

The brother's can afford no hologram, and even if they could, the Estate is not going to approve that. They are just working the media and hoping for better ticket sales.

Expect more mainstream attention now because of this teasing.

Sounds good, but when I listen to little Michael singing Who's lovin you, with such power and emotion, I cannot think which brother will be able to compete with that dynamic rendition. To me, some songs they should leave out, or else get another lead singer to help.

1. No way in hell will MJ's Estate handlers sign off on this ticket selling tactic!

2. Like someone said before, I don't think this was even a real consideration by them, as usual, a comment was made
only because of the talk about the Tupac hologram.

3. Add in the cost factor, and its obviously a no go.
 
The price of the tickets is too expensive. For TII it was between £60 and £80 for regular tickets, so I don't think you can sell a lot of tickets when you don't have a real talent, when you are retiring since 1984 and when the most important thing when medias and people speak about you, is just about your brother and not your career that doesn't exist in the music history.

Don't see why the Jacksons, can't have success on the oldies circuit. The Temptations, and other groups are out there with zero original members.

Tito was doing gigs on his own anyway. I just looked again at the Jacksons in Mexico and they were fantastic. Of course Michael sang all the songs except for Jackie and Marlon singing some solo parts of one song each. Michael introduced the numbers, gave a little story and hyped up the crowd. This is the typical behavior of a Jackson concert, so I hope they have ironed out these aspects throughout the concert. Tito also did some solo pieces on his guitar. I like him because he always did his thing.

I wonder if they will have some creative costumes--that was always a big thing with the Jacksons, and Michael during his solo career, kept his unique style.

Probably the sunglasses might be worn. I was thinking about the tour and to me if they do some good planning it could come out great, but we do not know who are on their business and creative team. If they stay away from people like Hunt they have a good chance of putting together something their fans would enjoy.

Hmmm, they are using Michael's MSG concert to promote their tour?

MJ's MSG concert, a two-hour special in honor of Michael Jackson's thirtieth year as a solo entertainer (his first solo single, "Got to Be There", was recorded in 1971).

Poor brothers! They ain't even "trying" to get out of Michael's shadow.

I mean, it will be just the 4 of them, no Randy. In my opinion, what they SHOULD have done was make a commercial of what they will be doing today. Maybe, something like them at a concert rehearsal or in the studio, working on a NEW song together. Thereby giving their "fans" something to look forward.

Somethng New. Something fresh. Something that JUST show cases how the act will look today. Something, God forbid, that doesn't include Michael.

Now would have been an ample opportunity for them to show that they can make it on their own and do their own thing.
It doesn't look like they are going to take that route.
They have only themselves to blame if fans/non fans are accusing them for using Michael, they haven't given any reason to think otherwise!

It's like they have NO confidence in themselves.

I'm surprised that Jermaine signed off on that particular clip. I mean, he should have had them splice in a portion of his solo Las Vegas performance. LOL! Since he will be singing some of his own tunes for this tour. Thereby giving interested folks an opportunity to see what their ticket buying money would include.

Yesterday on Dancing With the Stars, they paid tribute to Motown and when they got around to mentioning Jackosn 5, they just showed a shot of just MJ.

Say what you want about the brothers, but the deserve more respect than they're getting when to comes to their great J5 history.
