uhggg....I swear to God I hope they dont do this to MJ...I find it creepy...kinda scary...noway could I stand to see that..I know some people would enjoy it...but for me..its just a big NO...:(

I know a lot of people feel the same way as you but I think I would enjoy it. I would definitely pay money to see a Michael Jackson Hologram Tour.

Maybe they should hold a "Press Conference," like they did to announce the so-called Michael Forever Tribute Concert. LOL!

So now they're dead they still have to perform? What for? To please us? To still make money for others? Let them rest in peace. They gave us what they had when they were alive. It's not respectful to keep them performing forever and ever.

I have no doubts the experience will be awesome but there are other more important values than our own selfish needs.

And on the other hand you could argue this by saying artists would love to be kept alive this way...but it's not something I feel comfortable with.

It wouldn't be them performing though, it would just be a hologram. What would make people gathering in an arena watching a hologram of Michael Jackson more disrespectful than when people gathered in cinemas to watch This Is It? I respect your opinion but to me it sounds like you're against all posthumous releases; and if you are not I could use your argument against any posthumous release.

Big difference between film and a live appearance on stage. Seeing MJ in the TII movie was nothing like seeing him live in concert. Completely different experience and emotional reaction. That Tupac hologram is very life like on a live stage. I was ill at ease watching it. And that was just a video. I can't see myself in an audience watching something that life like of MJ right now and actually enjoying it. Can't explain exactly why, but I'm sad just imagining it.

Rhilo about the Jermaine video, if you want to see something extra funny, look at it without any sound at all. His movements, lines, gestures are certainly not poetry in motion and would have you cracking up at your computer like I did.

Does Jermaine Jackson want to be UPSTAGED by a hologram of his more famous brother. LOL! I don't think so.

I mean, it's safe to say that if they use a hologram of Michael, the next day the buzz would be about that and nothing else, in my opinion.

I was also reading that a hologram such as that would run them about $100,000-$400,000. Who would pay for it?

And for these guys, that's a bad thing? I'm sure most of them would happily accept this over what they're getting now which is no buzz.

This tribute would go from being whatever to being highly anticipated.

Too bad for them though that the estate would never in a million years allow it.

I "think" at this point in the game, the remaining brothers would rather have the buzz be about them being on stage together AGAIN after being M.I.A. for several years. Especially Jermaine.

I also wouldn't call it a "tribute." It appears to me that the remaining brothers are TRYING to establish themselves as a 4 man group. Who possibly want to be known for their OWN individual talents and not that of their dearly departed little brother.

So yes, I would have to say that buzz being created around a Michael Jackson Hologram would definitely defeat the purpose, in my opinion. They are, after all, "Music Royalty" and therefore should be able to create their OWN buzz. LOL!

The date at the Apollo seems to be selling, I just looked on ticketmaster for one ticket and it said none were available. The interactive chart for the Rama, ON doesn't look too bad either.

Well, it wasn't like they didn't try. But a Jackson 5 reunion without Michael doesn't make much sense, now does it? They tried in '89to do something without him and failed. There were several false starts, when they thought that Michael would join, in subsequent years. Now, with Michael gone there is no holding out and waiting and hoping for him to change his mind, there is put up or shut up. It really is now or never, so obviously his death affected them in finally doing something.

And really, I'd rather see them, than an empty Circe de Suleil show, which has nothing to do with Michael really.
