Official Statement From The Estate Of Michael Jackson To The Fans

i wonder if the next time i have to download the latest version of itunes, will it come with it's own audiologist.

this crap is totally rediculous.

If it's sooooooo owerhelmingly clear it's MJ, then why did the concerns and suspicions were raised in first place? They obviously felt those tracks suspicious as well, hence the lot of examination of them. I still say they should exclude those tracks from the album, I'm still not convinced.

If it's really MJ then he must have been either ill, so that he totally lost the color of his voice on these tapes or he must have been recorded with really bad equipment. In neither case these songs should be released as representations of his true quality.
My sentiments too.

Aside from the sound of the voice, I just can't imagine MJ using his name as lyrics so many times in the song.

I guess they would not let me into the building otherwise I would go to the Sony office here and bring our concerns to them in a professional manner.

There's no way you would get an appointment with anyone important. But maybe it's worth trying? Voice our concerns... if done properly it could very likely reach the executives.

If it sounds SO unlike Michael, that they actually need to do tests to verify it being him. Its most likely not him.

Although I dont believe tests were even done.

I'm on Cory Rooney's facebook now. I just asked if he has a plan...

Please anti-BN people you have threads: "Michael - I Am Totally Against This Album, I Will Not Buy It, Will Not Support It Discussion" and "I believe 'Breaking News' lead vocals are not 100% MJ and I want to talk about it here " so if you want bash song/singer go there. Please be tolerant and respectful.

Although I dont believe tests were even done.

Nor do I.

I believe this:

Cory Rooney:
'I sat in a session where we solo'd the vocals and it was just someone set up to sound like him and the only parts that really sounded like him were samples from older records of his. There was nothing that was consistent with any of his previous recordings as far as vocal control or just plain habits. Last but not least when we asked if there were any out takes or alternate tracks they said that they were erased because they needed to make room on the hard drive!!! Who does that??? Tell me who would erase anything with Michael Jackson's voice? It is sad!!'

I don't see what motivation he would have to lie about this either. Unlike Teddy R, who's clearly been feeling the pinch lately...

I don't care what they say. It just CAN'T be Michael because it's actually painful to listen to. From 26secs to 29secs, that fast bit, is soo not Michael 'cause it's SO breathy. WTF? When did Michael ever sing like that?

I'm on Cory Rooney's facebook now. I just asked if he has a plan...

Could you ask him this please:

Corey, do you think there is any way to prevent Breaking News and the other questionable tracks from being released? Could you elaborate more on what has been happening "behind the scenes"?

Sure thang dude, that's done. :cheeky:

For those saying 'there's a new version of Breaking News - it's definitely Michael now!' Um, no. Pipe down.

Here's the proof via MJJC's 'Nighty': http://www.mjjcommunity.com/forum/showpost.php?p=3067699&postcount=5217

There is no new version.

Your ears are just getting used to the impostor's tone and style. Follow your first instinct.

I call it B.S.
In order for the sound to be cancelled it needs opposite soundwaves, not the same one...
so if this is correct, he should've flipped one of the versions...

Now, it would still work at some extent since the song and pitch is exactly the same, the only thing that changed is the mix volume and effects... so, sorry...
I don't buy it!

We dont need a damn test! Thats not what music is about, using all these machines to test if the vocals belong to MJ or not.

I'd much rather believe my own ears.

You ask for proof for days, yet you state that you will not accept what would conclusively decide whether or not it is him.

How objective of you...

Re: Official Message From The Estate Of Michael Jackson To The Fans

massive 'fail'!

Do what you want/believe to be right. Others will do the same without you getting upset about it.

How many times have you cancelled that order now? There must be something wrong with the website you ordered it from - if you have to go and do it again!!

 lol

I really don't know enough about this tech stuff to comment. Why don't you go ask Nighty and report back? He's in this thread: http://www.mjjcommunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=97718&page=360

To my ears though, it still sounds exactly the same as it did on Monday. I think people are kidding themselves.

I think the bigger picture here is people have a serious issue with needing proof in the first place.

This would be the first album out of the several hundred I own where I would have to try to decide whether or not I'm listening to the artist who's work I thought I was buying.

However, I welcome proof. I'll gladly retract my doubts if they can prove this is Michael Jackson.

Okay, I can't go through all 45 pages of this thread.

A statement has been released as we all wanted, some accept it, others don't. For me, I will be buying this album and I intend to enjoy it. And for the record, I actually like Breaking News.

I don't have the energy to argue and get myself worked up about something that I can't 100% prove myself.

Taryll said something along these lines as well, this definitely is someting...goddamn.

We just want to hear a piece of the original demo track with our own ears. We never will because there is none. If there is then the quality must be so poor that the contrast between the tape and the finished track would be laughable.

I would be overjoyed to be proven wrong on this one believe me. Sorry we're not happy to sit back and accept any 1.5 second scraps of MJ singing that Sony throw at us.

I've been saying all week, 'The only way i'd believe this was Michael was if they either showed me a video of MJ singing it, or MJ told me himself'.

I havent asked for proof.........

I would gladly accept any attempts they make at proving it, but it would have to be amazingly convincing.

I would settle for the raw demo of MJ singing it, i'd have to be satisfied that was Michael as well though.

I'd rather get no evidence and just forget about the song. Take it off the album and I'll gladly forget about it all.

Sure thang dude, that's done. :cheeky:

Thank you! I just thought about another thing: it was reported Rooney worked with Michael on a song. He was on fire back in 2001, he composed/wrote so many hits it's actually scary to think about... Could you ask him about the song "She Was Loving Me" by Michael? Does it even exist?

I'm listening to all of MJ's demos. Even when he's hardly trying his voice is so effortless...

'That's a great sound' :wub::wub::wub:

I would settle for that.

Call a truce with them. Just quietly take the songs off the album, and we will never speak of it again.

music is not an intellectual thing. it's a soul thing. sony is trying to turn this into an intellectual thing. i remember when in 'this is it', where Michael said he had to 'feel it' when referring to the start of 'Smooth Criminal'.

sony has to leave the soul for the intellectual then there is something wrong. it's cus there is no soul in this project. no life. it's not the real deal. contrary to thought, i can't control my listening habits. they control me.. and i can't listen to breaking news anymore. i don't have that trouble with any Michael Jackson music.

i can't even remember the hook, cus there is none, in breaking news. i don't have that trouble with Michael Jackson music either. his music is simple, and comes home. bn isn't and doesn't.

I just listened to this again...and especially at 0:26, that's so damn fake...come on,we can all hear this is not Mike. Sure..his voice has gotten different, you can hear that on some Invincible songs, but we also heard him during TII.
