What weird logistics indeed! So... the Opuses are doing a lot of travelling. My Opus left originally from England (the first FedEx note was from there), and it was stuck in France over the holidays, so I'm really mystified why you fans in the rest of the British Isles haven't received yours yet... Originally I expected everyone in the UK at least would get their books before me, but it isn't so. Peculiar. Hopefully your wait won't be long any more.

btw, I'm from the Philippines. I ordered mine August, got the call yesterday ... people living in Manila should get their copied before mine, I forwarded mine in my province so I'm expecting it to arrive around 2-3days late.

Hi! finally i found somebody who's from the philippines too! who called you? I ordered mine last August too but had it delivered in Manila. So far, no Opus yet

anyway, i called fed ex about 5 days ago, they said that they don't have any MJ Opus delivery coming to them yet...
 
Mine is now in Dublin at last, So I am hoping for today, if not tomorrow. Since it is in my home country now I bloody hope it is here tomorrow at latest.
 
Finally there's been a change in my tracking information! It says the book has been picked up today in Stansted GB. Expected delivery time 11th of January! Geez, why is it taking them so long?? :(

My Opus has to be sent after 2 weeks, I ordered it from Barnes and Noble. But now they changed publishing date to 26th of January :eek:

i think so, too.... but they must send an official mail to do this.... the card should have been sent with the book so we have all payed for it and then we don't need to request it again....[/QUOTE]

I received an email that everyone who pre ordered the Opus before september 30 and have not received it before christmas will get the card automatically.

I'd rather have my Opus though. Has anyone in Holland received theirs already?? My shipping date still has december 17th and the email from Opus said the delivery would now be december 28 which was yesterday. Still haven't received anything......

I looked this morning and it still said the same, but after your message I looked again. And my Opus is in transit as well. Unfortunately the delivery date is now january 11 :( But I'll be happy of it really arrives at that date.

I don't know.... It's getting kinda weird. I think they say this because all pre orders before september 30 were garuanteed deliveries before christmas. I would drop them an email if I were you. I'm gonna do the same when I have received my Opus.
 
I was just told by FedEx my book should be here Thursday. It also seems Opus had our books down with FedEx as only Domestic Post and therefor was not given any Priority status in their mailing.

Well done Opus. You prats.

Could be the reason why it would take 14 days to get from London to Holland. I've had post from the UK many times and it never took longer then 4 days with priority mailing.

Seems that the request for the Opus books have been overwehlming for them and now they can't keep up their promises.

You see?? And you thought I was joking when I said they would be using donkeys to send the Opus to Chile. Sure they are using donkeys... and very fool donkeys, by the way.

Well... try to enjoy it bit by bit, no matter how long it takes. I imagine you will be discovering new wonderful things by reading. I can see myself with that beutiful book on the table and my little nephew trying to touch it.... Noooo!! Wash your hands three times!!!

This has been hard, no way to deny it, but maybe some day we will look back at this wait with a smile. Mike is still close. So close to us I can almost feel his embrace.

I recently read a statement that Kraken Opus are no longer co-operating with Barnes&Noble. It's very likely I read it in this thread. However, I found this quote too, it's a statement from Opus:

"Lastly: We have no deal with Barnes and Noble and they have no right to sell the OPUS at less then the $249.99 price. They can advertise all they want but they have no OPUS' and will not receive any due to their actions. We had intended doing business with them but will not do so due to their actions.
If people want to purchase an MJ OPUS they can do so through Ticketmaster, OPUS Media, Sonymusic.com and select retail establishments. We will be adding Amazon and others but no one can undercut our minimum retail price."

Yes, I know they were printed in China. What I meant was, the first entry on the FedEx tracking site was from England. So I imagined everyone there would get theirs before me. Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear enough in my post. :)

but i have to wait until tomorrow evening to see it... because i'm not in my city home!!!
i can't wait.....!!!!

Is anyone here from Iceland? ..that is waiting for his/her opus?? I havent gotten any tracking number or anything.. I sent an email to Opus, but havent gotten an answer yet.
I read somewhere here that europe should get it by Dec 28, now its the 30th and still nothing, not even the tracking number :(Does anyone know when it should get here?
 
Mine has FINALLY arrived here in Ireland, delivery guy told me he just delivered 3 more too. He was asking me about them, as they had got in aload of them today.

Now I'm so excited I can hardly open it.LOL!!!
